I'm 100% behind this. Scy, you weren't here for the American War, or the botched attempt at WWIII but, trust me, its for the best. Plan out ahead of time! |

First we need to know how successful or unsuccessful the Scythirian invasion of NH will be. The two of you should decide on that and let us know. |

Let it be noted that the only agreed upon nuclear attacks were between Gitchi Goomi and NAN, with consent from both sides. I attacked NAN, NAN attacked me, and then I went to bed. When I woke up, half of North America had been nuked into oblivion in a blood orgy of death!! |

As the Flumesian forces crossed the lowest point of LCL, a vast plain opened before them. What they saw in the distance was a cloud of dust. As the dust cloud came closer, they could make out the advancing New Harumfian forces, stretching from horizon to horizon. In the lead were divisions of the Marines First Corp. The A Division of 500 heavy armor, and the B "Killer Bees" Division of Mid armor, and the C Division of mid-armor, 1100 strong. They were accompanied by the H, I "Insanes", and J Divisions of highly trained marines, numbering 53,000 crack fighting men, followed by the G Division of 400 artillary pieces. Perhaps more awe-inspiring was the 1,500,000 1st Army which followed the marines, stretching in a line as far as the eye could see. These forces were expecting to encounter Zolons, but they had spotted the Flumes forces, and the artillary had already begun to open fire, shattering the ranks of the enemy. Suddenly, the air became filled with sounds other than the high scream of incomming artillary as hundreds of fighters and bombers roared in from the east. The western defense was beginning in full force. ________________________________________________________ Meanwhile, new blood swarmed over the dunes on the beach to meet the Scythian advance. The entire 5th Corp of the NH Marines reached the battle, 1200 fresh armor, 1200 light calvary, and 100,000 of the fiercest fighters in all of New Harumf. Leading the force was a wall of flame throwers, laying down a screen of flames that shielded everyone from the enemy. The insane fighters of Scythirus were hardly phased, and continued firing blindly into the flames, and occasionally a tank would take a direct hit, and a huge fireball would rise skyward, but many other Scythirian foghters were simply ignighted, and died burning without a scream or a sound. The air began to smell like roasted pork when the armor rolled up and layed down a constant barrage of fragmentary shells along the beach. Others were firing HP and AP rounds at the amphibious craft as they rolled ashore, turning many into balls of flame, and AP rounds were also doing a number on the tanks that already had landed on the beach, with many boiling off ammo and creating more death. If beach was to be gained by the invading forces, it would be gained in incriments of inches only, and a cost of thousands of lives per inch. |

The Zolons charged the west border of New Harumf, finding themselves in a brutal battle. OOC: I'm writing a paper, so I can't write a long post, so what happens is basically up to NH. Just don't have the Zolons totally routed, ok? |

This was the reason Scythirus brought with it an abundance of men for this invasion, because it knew that like itself, New Harumf would push past all of the stops. Scythirus did not care how many waves of Death Shock troops were needed to capture the beach and force their way into Dar es Salaam. They just knew with their elite forces storming past the chaos and death, ignoring the pain of bullets and fire until it brought them down, that eventually the beach would belong to Scythirus. Despite the losses faced by armor rolling ashore from amphibious craft, more came rolling out. And as more rolled out, more fire was returned against the Harumfian tanks. And with more fire returned against New Harumf's armor, less fire was resulting from that end as the Scythirian vehicles rolled up to support its infantry. Scythirus was not going to back down from it's determined course of seeing Dar es Salaam and Dodoma crushed under the heal of its boot. |

Flumesian Commanders had known all along terrain would be a problem. Over the next few weeks they would see just how big a problem it would be. Flumes is primarily a nation in the heart of the Congo Jungle. The armed forces are much more accustomed to fighting in the Jungles of the Congo then the open combat they would deal with today. As the infantry divisions looked onto the vast plain occupied with an enemy larger then their own, the confidence they had had just hours before was long gone. To add to the Army’s Problems, 3/5’s of the 1 million troops marching east (or is it west, damn Greenwich line…) were new conscripts minimally equipped and poorly trained. Another 1/5 were your average grunt soldiers that had gone through your basic boot camp before assignment, but nothing more. Only the last 1/5 of the army was worthy of mention, members of Flumes Special Ops group, these elite soldiers had learned to expect anything and everything over the years. The only plus the army still maintained was the experience gained in the War of Heresy. Despite the utter lack of a military in Flumes at the time, the invasion had required the average man to pick up arms to protect their land. Also adding to Flumes’ problems was its lack of a dominant armored group. Combined there were only 66 artillery pieces. The lack of tanks and long-range artillery would be a huge problem on the open plains for the Flumesian Commanders to overcome. As bleak as things looked, hope still remained; the Scythian invasion to the east was progressing as planned, although many allies were coming to the aid of New Harumf. Zolony was bound to team up with Flumes soon, adding much needed air-support, and possibly a group of infantry that would combine to outnumber the NH troops. But as shells continued to pound Flumes troops and Flumesian Fighters and Bombers continued to fall from the sky, Flumes was in desperate need of help. |

The naval squad of eight destroyers just arrived in the Arabian Sea. They started patrolling friendly New Harumfian waters and are scrutinising tirelessly those waters from all enemy ships, be them Scythirian or Flumesian. They will not allow any provocation from anyone and will act swiftly if attacked. A unloading of land troops is not yet envisaged but it could well be a reality in the coming days. The North Flordian troops push off the beach, and the New Hamufien troops where falling back. Men who ran where cut to pieces by tanks, men who stayed where over run by the Scythirians. The tanks shelling the beaches made good targets. The Beach was littered with bodies and burning tanks, wrecked planes and ships lefted burning hulls and wings on the waves. But the battle wasn't over, the guns of ships still boomed, missiles still screamed across the sky. The North Flordian Navy followed the Scythirians example and boarded or tried to board the USOI, New Hamufien or any other ship. Men swarmed onto decks, cutting down crew, shooting officers, and when they couldn't take the ship, they would plant bombs. Ships were shattered when bombs blew. |

The Israeli Battle Groups were about to begin Operation Leviathan. The plan was to combine the full comined Israeli firepower to destroy the main part of the Scythirian and North Floridan forces. The Israeli aircraft carriers were to launch all of their bombers simultaneously and their fighters to protect them, and those were ordered to pound the enemy forces on the New Harumfian beach. The remaining Israeli warships are to attack the enemy ships with full force. This plan will likely be the begining of the end of the naval campaign, while the Scythirian invasion of New Harumf will now become the main objective. TO BE CONTINUED |

The remaining two hundrend and fifty bombers of the USOI took off from their aircaft carriers, and then assembled to 50 formations of 5 bombers. Each of the F-18s was armed with four Napalm and two cluster bombs, designed for one purpose only - brutal, quick and efficient killing of a large number of soldiers on the ground. Each formation was assigned with bombing an area of 1 square kilometer of the Harumfian beach, and bring it back to the Jurassic period. Posted Image Israel Navy F-18 taking off the INS Atalef Ahead of them, in the horizon the Israeli fighters jets were clearing the skies, doing their best to intercept any enemy fighter which could threaten the bomber force. Posted Image Israel Navy F-14 launching from the INS Dolphin Posted Image Israel Navy F-14 launching a long range AIM-54 Phoenix missile at its target The first wave of attack on the Harumfian beach released its bombs. And then another wave. And another. 50 waves of attack in total. 244 bombers made it to the attack. The sight was spectacular. Kilometer by kilometer, the Harumfian beach became a firey death trap, a scene from hell. Most bombs have hit the beach, but some eventually fell in the ocean and did little to no damage. Posted Image A small section of the 20 meters high wall of fire which burnt vast parts of the Harumfian beach. Picture taken from the distance by an Israeli ship. The USOI has no accurate death rates, but it is believed that a very large part of the enemy forces on the Harumfian beach were either killed or seriously wounded. Napalm bombs are relatively less successful in destroying armoured units, so the overwhelming majority of casualties are believed to be infantry. The wall of fire caused by the bombs burnt for a while and left a very hot ground, so the invasion of New Harumf has been stopped for a short while in some parts of the beach. But while the USOI has achieved a significant air superiority which made the aerial part of the operation possible, meanwhile at sea, the Israeli Navy was having much more trouble. The remaining Israeli warships were now sailing with closed hatches, with every personnel not needed on the deck locked behind them. Most ships were now damaged one way or another. The enemy fleets, specifically the Scythirian one, were fighting fiercly, and has even won the admiration of the Israeli seamen. Even so, the USOI Navy has had a number of successes, hitting and destroying a number of enemy ships. Posted Image An Israeli warship hit by a Scythirian torpedo. Furthermore and worst, in a failed ambush, the Scythirian anti submarine vessels have managed to sink one Jerusalem-class submarine and seriously damage another. Rescue operations to try to save the sinked submarine's crue, now buried alive in their waterier grave, are being held under fire. This drastic operation was carried out due to the continuing success of the enemy's invasion of New Harumf. The United State of Israel believes that without it, New Harumf would have been crashed within a short matter of time. Although not stopping the invasion, Operation Leviathan has certainly made it possible in the long run. Meanwhile, some damaged Israeli Navy ships are making their way towards the United State of Israel, and are being replaced by other ships. 55 bombers and 30 fighter aircraft are also making the long way from the United State of Israel to the five aircraft carriers stationed off the Harumfian beach, to replace aircraft highly damaged or destroyed during the conflict. |

The third front was prepared. While Flumes forces were being engaged in the Luangwa River Valley the Zolon forces had advanced closer to the New Harumfian border, and were crossing the swamps around Lake Bangweulu. This was a tactical mistake for the Zolon high command, but they figure they could be out of the swamps and into the dense forests of the Rift Heights of the Copper country before their movements could be discovered. At the eastern edge of the Bangweulu Swamps the Alpha and Gamma light armor divisions of the 4th Harumfian Marine Corps waited with the Zeta artillary division and the Eta, Chi, Omicron, Pi, Rho and Omega Marine infantry divisions. These 1,100 armored units, 450 artillary units, and 126,000 special forces units were accompanied by the entire 1.5 million units of the 4th army. As soon as the Zolons were in range the artillary opened fire, using both regular and phosphorous shells, which reaked havoc in the swamps. Then tank canon joined in, and the Zolons were being scattered. Their heavy equipment was being bogged down in the swampy land, and movement and deployment was severely impaired. The Zolons could not retreat without their heavy equipment providing cover fire, so they had no choice but to charge right into the bulk of the 4th army, and, within a few minutes were close enough for small arms and hand to hand combat to ensue. Here, in the central plateaus of Africa, the African Confederacy might die in its infancy. |

The Hu'fievren ducked down as he saw the first artillery shell fire. A piece of shrapnel hit him across the cheek, and he cursed. He turned to one of his Generals, General Uri Ock’on Bulda of the Holy Guard, Covert Ops, and the Paratroopers Division, Armies I-III. "We won't be able to get our tanks past the swamp. Almighty damn it, I should've known they'd ambush us here. Have we gotten word from General Jel'donna?" "Aye, milord," Ock'on said. "Then how far out is the airforce?" "Um...about thirty minutes behind us, sire." "Get me Jel'donna. I want bombers on these guns ASAP. Tell the Holy Guard to make a charge for the guns. The rest of the men are to disperse to the sides and hunker down I want at least ten meters between each of them." "Sire, is that wise?" "No, you stupid Uri, but we have no choice now. I should've known that this would've happen if we charged. All we can do is keep casualties low until our air support can come in." "I've got it, sire. Holy Guard, bull rush the guns' position! We've got bombers coming in, ETA 30 minutes, but we can't hold out that long. Evac when you see the bombers coming. Go go go! And they did. |

Meanwhile, the first elements of the Veloryan Expeditionary Force were landing in Kilwa Kivinje. Their transports were basically flying boats, and were too big to land at the New Harumfian airbase nearby. However, each plane held 750 soldiers. As the Harumfians began to open fire on the advancing Zolons, 1,500 Legionaires held the port of Kilwa Kivinje. They really didn't have anything to do. Both that city and Mahenge, where 8,000 New Medeans were stationed, were far removed from the fighting in the north. It was doubtful that at either post combat would be ade evident. The Legionaries established their base of operations in the library downtown, and then simply waited. As soon as they were up to strength, it was determined that they should march to Mahenge, and then on to Morogoro, where some 12,000 New Medeans were holding the only bastion of Allied power between the beaches at Dar es Salaam and Dodoma... |

As Operation Leviathan began torching the beach, the jets had been pursued by Scythirian fighters, shooting a number of them down to lessen the impact. Nevertheless the damage had been done. While the flames of napalm had done nothing to seriously affect the armored units that slowly rolled up what the Scythirians were now calling the Beach of 3,000 Corpses, the infantry suffered several hundred more losses. Most Scythirians were skilled enough in war to duck for cover in the dunes of the beach, but a few were not and died in horrible agony as the napalm burned their bodies away. After the Beach of 3,000 Corpses had been torched by the Israelis, the surviving Scythirian forces, which still numbered considerably, were forced to regroup before beginning again with their merciless onslaught. The Israeli jets were still pursued by Scythirian fighters which were achieving successful hits. The Scythirians noted that Israel was started a strategical retreat, and while the ships ignored the escaping boats, the jet fighters pursued the enemy planes for some distance, knocking out as many as they could, before returning to support their troops on the sea and the beach. |

"General, it's a breakthrough." "What?" asked General Knock, commanding the beach defense. "The damn Scythiran armor massed just north of the conflict, ran over our marines, blasted the hell out of our armor, and have a breakthrough through our lines. I don't think we can keep them from reaching Dar el Salaam." "Damn your eyes, boy." Then the general looked at his latest info. There was a column of Sythirian armor moving quickly down roads toward the city. "Fall back." he yelled. Everyone is to perform an offensive retreat. No one else is to break through our lines as we fall back to the city. Is that understood?" His staff began barking orders into radios, and no one questioned him. "Damn, we've lost the beach. It's up to the city now." __________________________________________ The 2nd Corp special marines were already in position. The X-Ray Division Urban combat infantry, the W Division of rapid urban calvary and the Vector Division of Special Urban light Armor were now the line of defense between the advancing Scythiran heavy armor and the seat of government. Street to stree5t fighting was about to change the war. Thank God the Palace and the Lord Protector were so far away in Dodoma. |

I want 20 soldiers in ever building! I want tank teams of two at every small intersection of road, and tank killer squads at every major roadway!
