OOC: I want the children to be sent to Catholic Europe. I will pay a very high price for them for they are vital to the survival of the Royal Papacy. What do I need to do to ensure this? |

OOC: Grindel's only child, Romulus, is in CE, and heir to the throne. He should be about 12 now. Walter and his wife have two infant children. Boy, James, 8 months, and girl, Salome, 2 yrs. They would be in the palace, and might be burned up. Grindel and Walter had a third brother that I think went into the chruch. There are several heirs floating around married to various other rulers. An accounting of them should be performed, especially regarding their children. |

As the Hu'fievren arrived back in the swamps of Zolon lines, a commander rushed to him. "My Lord, my Lord!" he shouted, waving a report in his hand. The Hu'fievren looked at him and replied "What is it, soldier?" "The Scythirians!" the soldier shouted. "They have the royal family under siege! They've got them cornered." "Good," the Hu'fievren replied, even tempered. "Give the orders to our tanks to slowly back out of the swamps while firing mortar rounds into the distance. Have our fighter divisions protect our armor while our bomber divisions go out and bomb New Harumf. Dismissed." |

OOC: Yeah, I torched the brats. It was by order of Emperor Hirak-Al Voramix himself that no one found in the palace was to be left alive. IC: The squad commander zipped up his pants and stepped away from the raped and broken corpse of Lucia. Her neck had been promptly snapped after climax, ending her life. A quick signal from the commander ordered her remains to be torched in the same manner as the rest of her family. And so the hiss of a flamethrower filled the room from behind him as he walked out. Already the hunt for Walter had been commencing. At the way into the catacombs, a man who had been heading up the stairs from the catacombs with a pole and a bag was promptly pushed back with violent force, bag and pole flying from his grasp. He hit the bottom step with the dull crack of a bone within his body breaking. He didn't have long to suffer though, as his head was immediately shot off after someone said "That's not him." The bloodthirsty Death Shock continued their way into the lower bowels of the castle, rushing through the corridors in hot pursuit of their prey. An elderly man stood from his chair which was situated next to a door, and held up his hand commandingly. "Halt, Patruans... you are not allowed to pa—" and he could not finsh his sentence before numerous bullets riddled his body. He fell dead in a pool of blood. The key around the doorkeeper's neck was ignored, and instead the door was brutally battered by the physical strength of the frenzied Death Shock troops. They were hot on Walter's trail now. |

The Flordian troops had not taken part in the bloodly affair at the Royal Palace. And started to party even though shot still rung out. When the word came around that Walter, the Lord Protector, was missing orders were barked to the leagonaires and th men sprang into actions. Helis took sniper teams to the edge of the city to surround it. While the rest of the leagonaires set up a inner zone to try and capture Walter, and if need be shoot him. |

Walter reached the tomb of good King Thomas, and opened the cover. Next to the sarcofigus (sp?) was an AK 47, and a bag of C4. Against the back wall of the interior of the tomb was a tunnel, small and narrow. Walter quickly shouldered the rifle, and set a timer in the bag of C4 for 30 seconds, and he tossed it out of the tomb. He then closed the cover, and began rushing down the narrow passage. He could hear commotion behind him, probably fast approaching Scythirans, then, the ground shook, when the C4 exploded, and he knew that the entire chamber behind him had collapsed inward, blocking off any chance of pursuit. As he crawled along, he felt the tunnel moving downward, as he was heading to the very depths of the palace, and approaching the old caverns from antiquity. Suddenly, and unexpectedly, the tunnel gave out beneath him, and he fell several feet, and rolled into an iron door. This was not supposed to have happened. As he gained his senses, he felt a hand on his shoulder, and quickly spun around. An old man in rags, with a beard down to his feet was looking at him, and said, "Hello, friend. Welcome to my home." Walter blinked in amazement, and shined his light around the room. On the walls were marvelous paintings of religious scenes, and diagrams of strange machines. Also, line after line of latin text was inscribed on the wall as well. "You look at my work. I am inscribing the New Testiment as I remember it." "Who, who are you?" asked the bewildered Walter. "I am Bernard. I was once a free man, but have been a prisoner here for many years." "A prisoner. Were you a traiter to the crown, or a heritic?" The old man laughed. "No, I was not. I was imprisoned here for building a shrine to Elizabeth Rose. She was my sistter." "What?" said Walter? "How could that be a crime? Who imprisoned you? And how could St. Elizabeth Rose be your sister, that would make you, well, very old!" "I am very old. I was imprisoned here by the Government of the Flaming Drag Queens, accused of being a Catholic." "And you've been here all these years? Are you aware the the Flaming Drag Queens does not even exist anymore? Are you aware that New Harumf replaced them, and is a Genesisian Catholic Monarchy?" "No." said the old man, and he slumped to the floor. "I, I had no idea. I have been digging through stone for all these years, with my bare hands, trying to forge a tunnel. And you can see, I finally broke through to the tunnel above, but I am too old and frail to make the journey. Who are you, then?" "I am Lord Protector Walter, protector of the throne for young prince Romulus, the true Catholic Heir to New Harumf." "A Catholic King?" Then the old man gasped, grabbed his chest, and died. Walter looked at the old man, closed his eyes, and jumped back into the tunnel, to continue his journey down to the old caves. |

Slowly, Walter decended through the tunnels, until they opened up into the wide, expansive caverns that run all under New Harumf. This was new territory for him, but rumor had it that it would lead far from the city. Suddenly, he heard noise ahead. He turned out his light and creeped toward the sound. It was inhuman. Howling. Dangerous. He came to a passage with a small window looking into a huge cavern, and he saw them. He wasn't sure. Were they chimpanzees? Gorrilas? He couldn't decide. But they were white, or albino, and had feroucious fangs. He watched as a group approached one in the center of the chamber. Suddenly, they decended upon it, and began tearing its flesh. To Walter's surprise, they began eating the flesh of the poor victim, even before it was dead. Cannabals. Walter quickly left the window and proceeded down the chamber, away from the madness and slaughter. |

Walter walked and walked through the caves, always trying to reckon north, though this was difficult underground. He was getting exhausted, and had no sense of day or night. He decided it was time to take a rest, and found a snug little side cavern that would work out just fine. It was dry, clean, and comfortable. After he positioned himself, he turned off his light, and the absolute darkness overcame him. Total black. Something he had never experienced before. He remembered his Milton, and the description of Hell as, "Darkness Visible". If anything proved that oxymoron correct it was the total darkness he was experiencing. He slept for God knows how long, but was startled awake. He heard something. He could also see faint lights on the cave walls outside his little niche. He listened carefully. Was that singing? It was, but what language? It sounded Scandanavian, but that made no sense under the African Veldt. He listened further, and heard human voices, English conversation, but could not make out the details. Then, to his utter amazement, he heard the "Quack, quack, quack" of a duck! This must be a dream! As he listened, the sounds grew fainter, and the glow on the cave wall dimmed. Finally, after a few more minutes all was silent and black again. He shivered, even though the temperature in the cave was a comfortable 74 degrees F. He tried to get back to sleep, and slowly, slowly, sleep returned. |

OOC: Relax... Harumf himself said you have Grindel's kid, and that's all you need. Btw, Harumf, that last one was Journey to the Center of the Earth. The one before that might have been The Time Machine, as Morlocks are the only thing that come to mind as far as underground cannibals go. IC: The charges in the rubble had been set, and within a few seconds, the blockading rocks had been utterly destroyed. The hunt for Walter was back on. During this brief distraction, there was no telling how far the enemy leader had run. The Death Shock scrambled madly through the tunnels, many being forced to turn on their flash-lights to see in the ever increasing dark. It wasn't long before they found the hole that Walter had stumbled into after he had blockaded the passage, three leading troops having inadvertently fallen in themselves. A rope ladder was fetched from someone's equipment bag and secured before the troops hastily climbed down. The troops who had fallen were for the most part uninjured save for a few minor cuts and bruises. And so the chase continued. Somewhere in the tunnels, the Death Shock faced a skirmish with maddened cannibals, but these beasts were quickly dispatched by the Scythirians' weaponry. Only one Death Shock troop had been lost in the fight. |

James Sanctus looked upon the sea as the fleet drew closer to New Harumf. It was a clear day-the sea was beautiful. He rubbed his bald head. The chemo-therapy that he had had to go through after the Confederate nuclear testings had not been kind to him. A crewman towards him, shouting. James turned around, slightly suprised. "What is itt?" he said to the crewman, confused and annoyed. "Sir!" the crewman shouted, snapping to attention. "Petty Officer Third Class Jason Kellings! We've got Scythirian ships on radar. They're blocking our landing." "At ease. Are they?" James asked. "Well than, get a firing solution on their ships, lad." "Aye sir, I'lll tell the Captain that!" POTC Kellings said, saluting and running off. James walked over to the bridge. Captain Gregory Wilson met him their. They shook hands quickly. From there on the formalities ended. "King James," Gregory said, referring to James' title in Australian Chirondom. "We have Scythirian ships closing fast. Many destroyers, sir." "Captain, are they in range of our guns yet?" James asked. "No. They're not in visual yet either, sir," the Captainr replied, keeping his formality. "I can see that, Captain," James said. "I want destroyers at attack speed. We need to meet these Scythirians head on." "Aye, sir." The order was issued, and Chiron destroyers pushed forward suddenly, gaining more and more momentum. Fire was exchanged as they closed with the Scythirians. The Chirons believed they could win this battle decisively. |

OOC - Scythirus: Journey to the Center of the Earth, Correct. Time Machine, incorrect, tho I thought about it. IC: Walter had been walking steadily uphill, in a fairly straight line, when the passage leveled off and began to twist. The climate was becoming more humid, and a faint noise could be heard up ahead. He continued on, and the noise became louder, and louder, until it was a roar. He turned one last corner, and before him was a huge underground waterfall, except he was behind the falls, not in front of them. On the left was a ledge, and some ways along it, he could see what looked like a set of stairs. He started inching his way along the slippery ledge, making his way to the worn and trecherous steps, when he felt rock particles against his head. He looked behind and there, just coming out of the cave, was a Scythiran death squad trooper, firing at him. Luckily, there was enough curvature of the wall that he didn't have a clear shot. The trooper bagan moving toward him just as Walter reached the steps. He stepped on the first on, and it gave way like brittle plaster, and before he could do anything, he was sliding down toward the water below. He splashed into the warm water, and was swept away by its extremely fast current. He smashed against rocks, but remembered to keep a sitting position with his feet in front of him, so he was able to ward off the rocks and boulders in front of him. He knew he was traveling miles in minutes, and found himself flung over several shallower waterfalls, only to be rushing down class 5 rapids with incredible speed. He had no clue where this underwater river was taking him, but he knew it was away from the troopers. |

"He fell down there!" the Death Shock troop said, pointing. His commanding officer peered down the waterfalls and the river. "Then we're going after him. Remember your training in the Indus River." Then after securing his AK-47, he dove in the waterfall after Walter. The entire squad of determined Death Shock followed in like manner. |

Walter woke from a state of unconciousness. The light blinded him, but he realized, as he woke, that he was outdoors. He was burried in a tassle of leaves, mud and twigs aside a river, and had no idea where he was. The AK-47 was still around his shoulder, and he looked up-river and saw a large waterfall. He got to his feet slowly, shook his head, and then turned to be looking down the barrel of a rifle. "Who are you?" Said the soldier? Walter looked, and recognized the uniform of a New Harumfian Marine, and answered, "I am Lord Protector Walter, your commander. Take me to your superior officer!" The marine imediately stiffened, and said, "My lord, of course, please follow me." The marine led, and Walter followed, until several other soldiers saw him, and lifted him up, and carried him toward headquarters. They brought him to the tent of the commanding officer. He asked to be put down, and walked into the tent. "I am Lord Protector Walter. I am taking command of this army." A dark figure turned, and faced Walter. Behind him were several others hidden in the shadow of the tent. "I am General Poole, and I am in command of this army." "Then I relieve you of command." Said Walter. "Yes, my Lord. I understand." Said Poole. "But first, let me introduce you to our guests." One of the dark figures in the back stepped forward. It was the Hu'fievren himself. He looked at Walter, smiled, and shook the hand of General Poole. |

Meanwhile, the Scythirian Death Shock troops were moving down the river with the current. They had trained in similar situations on the Indus many times and were accustomed to such treatment. Eventually they saw two figures on the river shore several hundred feet away. Assuming that one must be Walter, they kept low in the water as the current carried them closer, watching the two people trot off elsewhere. That was when they leapt out of the river one by one and trailed Walter as he was led to Poole's camp. Little did they know the delightful meeting of Scythirian allies they'd find there to their advantage. Oh yes, Walter was screwed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At Chagos Arch, the Chirondom fleet was engaged in sea battle. Although there were not as many Scythirian ships as there were ships from Chirondom, Scythirus had managed to set for themselves the tactical advantage. Beta Base scrambled its planes and sent them to provide air support for their naval vessels. Guns fired off at the enemy, dismantling what they could at this current range. In the depths, closer to the chain of islands awaited the submarines. Should the Chirons draw closer, they would unleash hell upon their ships. |

They had finally done it. The Kasnyian Garrison had utterly destroyed what had been left of the Scythiran siege force against Dodoma. They knew that eventually they would try again, but the Scythiran Army in New Harumf would feel that one very hard. And seeing as they had stretched their supply lines too fast to be safe, it was only a matter of time before the rest of the Holy League forces elsewhere in New Harumf would cut them off and surround what was left of the invasion force. ...what the failed to notice however, was a division of Death Shock had not been accounted for. Fearing the worst (the Kasnyian Commanders were constantly in fear about leaving their posts at the river), they called the Palace.... |

In Morogoro, the beleaguered New Medean holdouts began to notice an exponential increase in the influx of Scythirans into the city. They were leaving Dodoma. Retreating. Doubtless Lord Protector Walter and his family were safe now, but the Scythiran threat wasn't over. Expecting timely reinforcement, the New Medeans began to step up attacks on the Scythiran positions in the city, hoping to weaken them for their inevitable destruction by the victorious Harumfians no doubt hot on their heels... |

The Zolon armor kept firing mortar rounds at small villages and cities across the west border of New Harumf. Zolon bombers made their way deeper into enemy territory, avoiding any AA guns that might be on the ground while droping bombs on whatever they could see. New Harumfian jets rushed towards the armor. The fighters of the Zolon airforce broke formation. Bullets and missiles began flying above the tank, who continued to fire mortars at the border. The tanks were slowly moving out of the swamps, but were partially emerged in the swamp still. OOC: Harumf, can I take this battle? |
