Urgent message of distress: My fellow South American leaders, I Presidente Antonio Santiago request immediate aid in repelling the guerilla assault tactics of the fiendish terrorist mastermind, Diablo. During Devil's Night, October 30th, the vile Diablo destroyed many important business buildings and military installations, practically crippling the country. Most major news channels are offline, possibly obliterated in the attacks. Currently our police and military are repelling an assault on the capitol building... presumably from Diablo's men. ...I can't type this telegram any further... likely Diablo will detect attempts in short moments. He's in the computer systems! |

The Viceroyalty of Garzburgh (Kasnyian Bolivia) will send aide to El Dejarbo. -Representing the Emperor of Kasnyia, Johann Ebert, Viceroy of Kasnyian Bolivia ------------------- Secret encoded transmission to Diablo from the Crimson Skull, flagship of the Fleet of the Topaz Scrouge... -Your efforts have caught my attention, and I must say that I am impressed by your excellent planning and rather cunning mind. I speak to you in hopes that perhaps we can help each other out.- Signed, Konstantin Ganz Gassel of the Topaz Faction OOC- Yep. Gassel is goin for it again. Wants another testing ground. Wants another ally. |

OOC: Actually, El Dejarbo's inhabitants are widely diverse like most IRL South American countries, but chiefly Spanish-Amerindian mix. IC: No response to Kasnyia from the El Dejarboan government is received due to Diablo's tampering with all state communication systems. --------------- Gassel: I have heard much of your great legacy! You are an inspiration to many like myself. I eagerly accept your proposal of mutual support and cooperation. Soon El Dejarbo will be under my sway, and only the weakened government and military stand in my way. Presently, Presidente Antonio Santiago is about to become my prisoner... his feeble attempts to protect himself from capture failing miserably. - Diablo |

OOC- Whoops, sorta forgot. Hold up. IC- Once again the fearsome spectre of the Koramatros sailed out of secrecy...this time into the Latin waters of El Dejarbo. Lazily the ship sailed, looking for a safe cove to launch it's operation from. This time, they were to practice launching, much like the Zalistoryia had done back in the Assassin War, though this time only two would be launched: Van Bein and his men were building a new arsenal for both ships, but it took time..so there was to be no unneccessary waste until then. Even before any of that happened of course, they had to make contact with Diablo's men. So as the warship went about looking for it's safe cove, they sent out a small fleet of speed boats (one with a negotiator) to find the Diablo's men and form a formal alliance with them. |

The speedboats could hear the sounds of gunfire and explosives on the docks. Occasionally there were a few small flashes of light spotted in the shadowed alleys of the dock warehouses. Obviously some manner of conflict for command of Renu Grande's port district was taking place, just like further in the capital, the capitol building was likewise assaulted. As the boats got closer, they could see the figures fighting it out along the docks, one side being the El Dejarboan military and police force, and the other being the sinister Diablo's terrorist network. Bazooka and mortar fire exchanged sides as they fought with great furor. One side had to inevitably win, and the other lose. |

Topaz Commander- Well, assuming the blokes in the uniforms are the police, I think we should meet up with those guys over there... As he said so, the small fleet of speed boast headed over to Diablo positions, sending a radio transmission to them informing them of their arrival.... |

Diablo's men secured a perimeter on the port so that Gassel's men could dock with the city of Renu Grande. The first impression the pirates had was that Diablo dressed his soldiers like comic-book rejects, the black visored helmets and body armor being a bit extravagant. Some of the military positions noticed what was happening and turned their mortar fire towards the waters. They did not need Diablo's men to receive reinforcements. |

The Topaz Commander ordered all of the boats to ready their own mortars and mounted machine guns, allowing themselves to fight their way into the Diablo perimeter. As they did so, more and more men seemed more intent on holding that particular dock/taking out the men in speed boats than to the battle itself. The Topaz Faction had made a killer first impression. |

The El Dejarboan military and police had made their mistake with concentrating mostly on sinking the reinforcents. As most of their attention was shifted, this allowed Diablo's men to push back the loyalist forces from the port and secure entrance for the pirates. A peculiar alliance was about to be forged. All El Dejarbo could hope for now was that Kasnyia sent its aid in time to help bring Diablo and his terrorist legion to justice. |

A small team of Kasnyian Army forces had landed into the national airport, and were now heading for the capital building to meet up with the cabinet. They were a small force of only 100 men, but were highly trained in anti-terrorist warfare, having had experience in attempting to catch the runaway missile train some years before.... ----------------------- The harbor, while secured, was not going to be safe enouigh to permanently hold the speed boats, so the boat drivers let off their small force and headed back to the Koramatros. Soon enough, the Topaz Commander and his men were in a Diablo safehouse in a quiet part of the city. Soon the negotiations for alliance would begin. |

The capitol's campus was like a warzone, the fighting even more intense here than what the Topaz Faction had witnessed at the docks. The military and police had barricaded off the entire area against the onslaught of Diablo's men. It became obvious now that Diablo didn't destroy the capitol because he wanted Presidente Antonio Santiago captured alive. Diablo's forces were caught off guard as the Kasnyian troops cut their way through the terrorists as they brought aid to defend the presidente. There was a cheer from around the battle-torn campus as El Dejarbo's finest recognized the approaching uniforms. This would definitely turn the sway of events to their side. Diablo could not possibly achieve the apex of his schemes now. ------------- Meanwhile, it was said that Diablo himself would arrive at the safehouse to speak with the Topaz Commander. After waiting half an hour, chatting raucously with the terrorists, the Topaz Faction's attention was captured by an authorative shout of greetings. "Men of Gassel, I welcome you!" said the laughable figure that stood before them. This Diablo had to've been a madman for certain, as he dressed the part. He wore a suit of sheer, black spandex from head to toe. The spandex was decorated with red fire motifs, and an inverted pentagram with the Devil's face drawn within dominated his costume's chest like an insignia. His head and face was covered with a spandex mask that matched the rest of his outfit, a pair of small plastic horns poking from the spandex on his forehead. A large, black cape trailed in the air behind him, and his mask only allowed the view of his mouth and chin, his smirk apparent for all to see. "I am Diablo!!" |

The Topaz Commander Smiled nonchalantly. Topaz Commander- I am Scherz. I am the top representative to the General of the Topaz Army, who wishes to form an alliance with you and your men. Diablo- Ah...yes, yes. Does the General have conditions? Scherz- A few..but easily obtainable conditions. Diablo- I am all ears. Scherz- If we help you, we would like full access to your harbors and airports and the like. Diablo- As I expected. Scherz- We also would like access to any materials the General might require...withoutany questions or inquries.. Diablo- For free? Scherz- Oh no, whomever we buy the material in question would be paid handsomely of course. But there should be NO questions. Diablo- Anything else? Scherz- The chance to recruit your forces at a future date for any military operation that the General may have planned. It would be beneficial to you too, as your men woulkd gain experience and be paid for their services.... Diablo- Anything else? Scherz- At the moment no. Diablo- I will think it over for a bit, alright? Scherz- But of course. |

With the reinforcements sent from Kasnyia, El Dejarbo was able to push back the assault on the capitol building. Diablo's men retreated from the superior force, their shapes disappearing down the streets and allies away from the campus. By the time they were gone, El Dejarbo and Kasnyia's special forces were already cheering over a victory. Inside, they met with Presidente Antonio Santiago and General Ruiz. Hands were shook and thanks given, and then the intelligence briefing was given, a map of the city laid out across the table. "Diablo has been able to make a significant impact by destroying a lot of businesses and military offices," General Ruiz said, noting a few shaded areas of the map with his finger. "He's also jammed a lot of our radio bands with static. We're not sure how he's doing it, but we have reason to believe through what few transmissions we have left that the villain himself may be appearing in a safe house somewhere near the port here." And he pointed. "We need to find this safehouse and capture Diablo, preferably alive." |

The Kasnyian commanders thought this out.... A man that cunning would not try to meet at a safehouse unless something strategic was about to happen...he would be on the move constantly otherwise.... Kasnyian commander- I concur, if he is to be captured, it would be at this house. However, we must make sure it is not a trap...after all, if he is so effective at jamming your transmissions, I would not put it past them to make a fake transmission for your men to intercept. General Ruiz- Agreed, however if it is indeed a trap, that would mean a good amount of his supporters would still have to be there to spring it. Even if we do not capture Diablo himself, we would atleast be able to take some of his men. The Kasnyian commander had to mentally roll his eyes at the obviousness of that remark, but nodded to the respected General (judging from the resume he had read while en route to this country) in acceptance. Kasnyian Commander- If I may, where does the Diablo's forces operate mostly? Rural or Urban? |

"We haven't been able to pinpoint his exact base of operations," General Ruiz stated, but continued; "however, we have based a guess that it's rural territory he operates in, as his troops came marching into the cities from without. Any other questions?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I've decided," Diablo said as he came back into the room, pulling his cape around him in an attempt to look foreboding in his comic book supervillain costume. "I will agree to Gassel's terms if, and only if, he can promise to follow the exact same conditions for me." He waved a gloved hand in front of himself to emphasize the point. "Everything you have listed, no questions asked. I only see it fair that we should be on equal footing." |

Scherz- At the moment we hold no harbors or ports under our control, but the rest would be acceptable. --------------------- Kasnyian Commander- And where is his headquarters? Also If this safehouse is in the city, it should be easier to find than we thought if he operates rurally...eliminates the areas we must search. |

Kasnyian Commander- My men will comb the cities. Your men comb the rural areas. And I think we will have to hurry...if this Diablo character is as ambitious as you make him out to be, then he'll be trying to get allies. General Ruiz- Of course. But my army is not strong enough to do it alone. Kasnyian Commander- Air reconasaince then perhaps? I can have an airship or two called in to help the search. General Ruiz- That would be helpful. |

General Ruiz nodded to himself when the decisions were made. With Kasnyia combing the city for the safehouse, and his army aided by air support searching the rural areas for Diablo's headquarters, the vile terrorist would have nowhere to run to. It was a cunning and brilliant plan and he was glad to have the Kasnyians help. |
