It's a hell of a lot of land, especially with the projection of the longitudes that high up, and has a total population of, what 12 humans?? Come on, it's all wasteland! Yes, I missed your PM. I will fix that this weekend. I will also fix Chepaset, I missed he was already on the map. So sue me! NAN, you will also get the remainder of the Dakotas, to the Minnesota border. |

As much as the colonize Canada urge is going off, that area is a wasteland. Give the newbie a break. |

I tend to agree with Kasnyia on that one... I've never seen with that much land in the beginning, seems kinda too much for such a small population. I think reassessing that land area seems appropriate in that respect. |

the two have a point. Really the only advantag they will have is selling island real estate....which in itself could be rather profitable.... |

not just that one either...any small nation could just buy one of the smaller ones off of him and say it's their colony (after which the territory will become dead...). |

If you are referring to me picking the Nunavut territory I understand y u would think it is a wasteland -- well it is! But if u looked at the resource reports of the territory (real life) its blessed with minerals and ore including gold, diamonds, natural gas, lead, zinc, copper, etc., if you could extract it and then transport it out of the region you could make a killing, but that requires better roads, rail lines and more efficient fuel routes etc. Subtracting the fact that you need 10 blankets to keep warm and its a really bad place to grow corn :P its not really that much different from cities in Siberia, Russia, who live -- albeit hesitantly, in their cities and work the industry and very rough going agriculture for a living... |

I know, but you have a ridicolous ammount of land. You rival Catholic Europe, one of the oldest nations in the world. |

If u like I could ask to get transferred... I never asked for THAT much land to begin with... I just stated the basic region and he gave me all of that, when I seen the map I was shocked... I was bigger than some of the other biggest guys there were. |

Personally, i don't object to you having the land. It is a bit ridiculous, but so is my nation, which I affectionately call IoaC. (Italians on a China) |

I don't see a problem with it. If that's how much the mapmaker saw fit to give the new player, I support it. |

Yeah, thank God for minimums, right? It was especially funny because he actually spent on defense, but just didn't get anything out of th investment. The government of LA doesn't spend at all, so you know how that is. |
