Suddenly, after twenty consecutive days of bombing raids and shelling from the sea, all became quiet. For about 15 minutes it was as quiet as Christmas Eve, but from the east, slowly, mechanized signs were heard, as New Harumfian Tanks began to roll from the svelt into Zolony. At the western beaches, landing crafts could be heard, large, carrying more armor, and smaller, carrying troups. There was no resistance, as forces from both direction moved into Zolony. Allies, also, now had the green light to move in. |

OOC: Where exactly are you invading? You can't invade Gol'bon, it's a coastal city. |

OOC: I have armored divisions invading from the east, over the plains, and marine divisions landing on the coast, also with armor. If you have a link to your map, I will point out exactly where. Or, to be specific: Posted Image Marines are landing, and setting up beach-heads on the coasts of areas labeled 1 and the unoccupied land to the north, to have a two-pronged attack on the capital. Armor is entering Zolony through 11 and 12, one pushing a northern route to the capital, another pushing a southern route. Carrier based air support is covering the marine invasion, while land-based air support is covering the land invasion. |

A southern route is impossible to get to the capitol-it's in number 1, the northernmost region in Zolony. |

Ahh, I had your capital mis-located. I corrected the above post, and will soon be listing the strength of the invading forces. |

The Hu’fievren had only just arrived in the capital city of Hu’fiev when the news of the new New Harumfian attacks reached him. As he entered the Divine Palace, an aide rushed towards him. “Sire! Sire!” the aide yelled. “The Harumfians have stopped bombing! They’re invading the regions Bor’deral, Humog, and Almighty.” The Hu’fievren shook his head. He had had enough of these heretics. And now they decided to invade Almighty, which housed the most sacred city in the world, Hu’fiev? For shame! “Get me my generals,” the Hu’fievren said. “Aye, sir,” the aide said. A few minutes later he returned, flanked by seven generals. The first general was General Uri Ock’on Bulda of the Holy Guard, Covert Ops, and the Paratroopers Division, Armies I-III. The second was General Iben Yuril of the Overseas Contingent and Military Police, Armies IV-X. The third was General Hi’o Vendor’zic of the National Guard and Militia, Armies X1-XXIII. The fourth was General Re’fort Oden of the Armored Divisions I-VI. The fifth was General Jel’donna Xon’dra of Airforce Divisions I-V1. The sixth was not a general at all, he was Admiral Sestac Tel’ra of Fleets I-IV. The last man was one of the most powerful men in Zolony: General of the Army, Pe’so Pry’amis. The aide left the room. The Hu’fievren motioned for the generals to take a seat. “My honorable servants,” he said. “Tell me of the condition of your armies.” The Holy Guard general didn’t say a word: they had taken no casualties. The Military Police had taken about fifty thousand worth. The national guard had lost triple that. The Armored Divisions had not been touched. A whole division of the airforce had been decimated. Ten ships had been sunk. The Hu’fievren grimaced. “Ok, this is not good. Listen carefully,” he continued, pointing to a map of Zolony. “I want the Holy Guard deployed in Hu’fiev as a defense against the invaders. Armies X1-XIII should be deployed in Almighty, as well as Militia army XX-XXII. Armies XIV-XVIII should be deployed throughout Bor’deral and Humog. Army XIX will be deployed behind them, as well as the military police and militia XXIII. Armored Division I-IV is at Bor’deral and Humog while the rest is on standby. All surviving airforce wings are to patrol the nation. The fleet is on standby. Do you understand?” “Aye sir!” the generals said in unison. “Good. Dismissed.” |

Harumfian troops had no resistance of any force coming in to Zolony from the east. What was delaying them was, indeed, the fact that they had to conquer every little town along the way, they couldn't risk leaving a fortress in their rear. Each action required all columns to slow, and wait for the town to be obliterated. Western invaders have established beach-heads, and have begun moving inland. The instant armor started moving into Almighty, they met a massive resistance force from to Zolons. This was totally unexpected, and nearly pushed the Harumfian invaders back into the sea. Constant naval bombardments kept the foothold in tact, and pushed the Zolony resistance one mile inland. Fierce tank battles ensued, with no clear winner. Whenever New Harumf invaders tried to bring in re-inforcements from other beach-heads, more Zolon forces appeared to prevent their movement. Something needed to break, and New Harumf was in need of assistance from their allies. The only thing keeping them in the battle was the fact that the Zolon armies were in range for the fleet's bombardments. |

Re'ternd'an Koroka was a Knight of the Kingdom of Mva'zari. Mva'zari had plans to help New Harumf take over Zoloy and gain back the land that was once rightfully theirs. To do that, they would distract Zolon forces away from the war with New Harumf. There was only one way to do that. They would steal the AQ-921 Water-Aircraft. The AQ-921 was Zolony's most important project. For it to fall into enemy hands was simply unacceptable for Zolony. Thus, they would divert their airforce to chase it if stolen, no matter how much it hurt the war effort. The plan was simple. With a group of Mva’zari guards, Koroka would disguise himself as a general of the Zolon airforce and attempt to board the one plane kept in the Mva’zari airforce base. Then it would be revealed that he was an imposter, and the chase would begin, over the seas. Re’ternd’an had disguised himself as General Jel’donna Xon’dra. He wore the uniform of Jel’donna well. He and his guards approached the airforce. The head guard of the airforce base saluted him. “Sire,” the Guard said, lowering his rifle. “I thought you were fighting the infidels?” “It is an emergency,” Re’ternd’an said. “We are here to bring the AQ-921 to the battlefield. Will you please release it to my custody?” “Sire, may I see your identification?” Re’ternd’an could barely stop himself from panicking. “This is an emergency. I do not have time to provide identification.” “Sire, I cannot let you enter without proving your identity.” “Stand aside, now!” “Sire, you are under arrest unless you immediately give me identification.” “You leave me no choice…” the Knight said. Each of the Knight’s troupe leveled a rifle at the Zolon guards. “Fire!” Before the Zolons could react, the Mva’zari Royals fired. Most of the guards fell to their knees, choking on blood. The head guard stood in the center, his mouth agape. He turned around and yelled “We’re under attack!” The Knight drew a pistol, and fired. The guard crumpled to the ground. “MOVE IN!” the Knight yelled. The conquest of the base was very simple: most of the national guardsmen stationed their had left to stop the Harumfian invasion. The Mva’zari let the Zolons live just long enough to alert the army. The Knight bordered the AQ. He lifted off. The plane flew out of the base, and towards the ocean. |
