Well, it would make everything easier, but we don't need it. |

Ok, fine, but why do we need this poll? We already have the forum and started out. It's not like it's hurting anyone. |

Why do we have a vote? This isn't like the American Continent where someone could actually be hurt by it: this doesn't affect anyone adversly. |

Do I look like someone who runs arround making useless polls? I'm the one who acts rashly. I'm not the one who considers things: I'm not the rational one who moves forums and creates polls. I saw overwhelming support from people making posts in this thread that they wanted a new board. I thought it was a good idea, I gave people the chance to object, I made the board. |

If the AU Forums IS to be made, a world map for it should be made as well.... Random epiphany. |

The AU forum would have many different scenarios, all of which would likely need their own map. |

I made the poll because I personally don't like the idea. It just won't work in the long run. |

Maybe it will, maybe it won't, but it won't hurt anyone if it doesn't, and it won't hurt anyone if it does. We already started out, I see no reason to force people to forget their ideas. |

Well, we obviously don't "need" an alternate universes forum. Like Nag said, if you want to RP in it, you can. If you don't, you don't have to. And you can totally ignore it, because nothing in the AU Forum will change anything in the rest of the forums. I say, let it stand, and let those who want to use it, use it, and those who want to totally ignore it, ignore it. |

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Socially I'm a Libertarian, Economically I'm a Democratic Socialist. But Lets not turn this into a discussion about politics. |

If your socially libertarian, and economically social democrat...your pretty liberal friend, since libertarains are socially liberal and economically conservative... communitarians are the opposite being economically social and socially conservative.... I have no quarrel, I'm just poiting out what you saying.... |

I am quite Liberal. Maybe I wouldn't go so far as to call myself socialist economically, but something pretty far to the left. |

You cannot be a libertarian and a socialist at the same time. Socialism implies putting the state before the individual: libertarianism does the opposite. And Kasynia, not all communists are socially conservative. |

There can be give and take. Individual first socially, government first economically. Its not impossible. So take your Libertairan argument ELSEWHERE! |

Norightsia's right on both accounts. Besides, Quaon, I highly doubt that you're an expert on political science, and, furthermore, they're my political beliefs, and you can't tell me what I do and do not believe. Therefore,to sum it all up, --Quaon--not a political scientist --Wadj-- agrees with Libertarians on issues dealing with civil liberties, IE free speech, gay marriage, etc. Disagrees on issues dealing with the economy. --Norightsia-- correct in his statement that arguments about Libertarianism are, by this time, cliched, and that, cliched or not, they should be conducted elsewhere. |
