Where is the result of the poll between
Nag Ehgoeg's method
A qualitative guide will be enough

Last I saw of it, it was tied, and I want to see the result.

No qualitative guide, I sit this war out.

Check Archives. It was tied 6-6, so Paradise made the poll you see now.

What the F*** are you babbling about.

The poll you're refering to was PARADISE'S method vs a Qualitive guide - as those two were tied on the orginal poll. They were also tied on that poll - we only have 12 active members and all of them voted.

PARADISE then moved that poll to the achieves and put up MY method vs ANYTHING ELSE. Which at the time of this post is at 5 votes for my method, 6 votes for anything else. Thus we're waiting for the last person to vote. Which will mean either yet another tie, or a win for indecisivness.

NOTHING has been deleted or hidden.

My method beat both other ideas in three way voting with 6:3:3.

The 3:3 where voted on seperately and came out at 6:6 - as could be expected.

Then my idea has been put to vote against everything else and is set to take 50% of the vote AGAIN.

It seems the community is split dead down the middle between math and qualitive.

Ok... So now Nag's method lost to Paradise's formula + the qualitative guide... I'll have to use my veto and I will have to choose the qualitative guide, not that I dislike my formula, but I think there must be a non-mathematical choice in the final poll.

Nah. My formula is too complicated for many members here. It seems that we will use your method finally Nag :P

Great... now I have to come up with a CP system.

Ok we'll do it this way - Paradise you plan your army and capabilities in broad terms, and I'll codify it into 1000 CPs :P

Hum yeah... Sure.

What do you need exactly? The number of tanks, divisions (each type), fighters, bombers, destroyers, battleships, carriers, etc. ?

EDIT: Maybe we should first come up with a list of things a nation may have...

Wrong. Paradise needs to describe the MAXIMUM forces he can have, and that becomes 1,000. I am not going to base my military on what Paradise wants to put in the field, but what the maximum is he can put in the field. I am preparing my own order of battle for New Harumf. I will send it to Nag and Paradise for a yay or nay. If this method is not acceptable, then I will sit out any world war as five neutral countries.

If that was bait I took it. Or maybe I'm just paranoid after your fight with CE.

Well what I was thinking was to draw a list propotional to what Paradise spent - for example if a third of his budget went on describing a navy, then that navy would be 333 CPs. But... I'll instead start hashing out numbers for approval on the mod board. Something nice and simple with plenty of room to work with.
