I'm a roller coaster nut, and will be in Williamsburg next year. Anyone been to Busch Gardens outside of Williamsburg, VA? If so, isa it worth it?

Also, check out the new monster coaster at Cedar Point. 450 feet high and speeds of 120 mph!!

Holy CRAP!

I've been to Bush Gardens in Orlando. It rocked. First time I went on a ride that went upside down. I like the one that leaves you weightless for 3 seconds.

But holy CRAP is that ever a rollercoaster!

I thought Stealth, at a paltry 205' and 80 mph in 2.3 seconds rocked, but this! Wow!

I still doubt that it's better than Air at Alton Towers, but you really have to ride it to get the experience.

I love Air! Oblivion is the most scariest ride I have ever been on though.

I did "no hands" for every ride at AT bar one. I went up Oblivion with my hands in the air.

Then it peered over the side. And I thought "Man this is going to ROCK."

Then I thought, "This is so cool, we're so high."

Followed by, "Man that's a big drop..."

Then "Sweet Jesus, why are they keeping us dangling over the edge!"

And lastly "I. Am going. To die." At which point I grabbed the handle bars and screamed like a baby girl as we took the drop.

Easily one of the best rides in the world. Oblivion is the scariest ride I've ever been on to.

Pwwt, a girl peed herself getting off Colosus (biggest let down ever, waited for 3 hours to ride in a front seat). Means nothing.

Still it's one bad mother- (shut your mouth!) of a coaster!

If I'm ever in Ohio (which I never plan to be), I'll have to ride that beast.

Dude, if you are into amusement parks, it is worth the trip. Cedar point has, I believe, 19 adult coasters! It is the best park in the US!!

I went to Cedar Point, but I whimped out of going on that particular coaster. It's the kind where you accelerate to 120mph on the ground level and get shot into the sky, just to come back down and finish the circuit. But the other coasters there were awesome. The second fastest ride there was like 90mph, and I could see across Lake Erie from the summit.

As a side note, I've just recently rode the Cyclone at Coney Island, having lived in NYC almost my whole life. I loved it as well. And to think, the coaster was built 1927 and is still in operation.

Lol good point. There's nothing much for a tourist to do in Ohio, besides going to Cedar Point and maybe the sporting events - the big ones being college [American] football games, Cleveland Cavaliers, etc. If you ever find yourself in Midwest USA though Cedar Point should definitely be on your agenda.

One of the most entertaining rides is Space Mountain in Los Angeles Disneyland, it is very well designed with poor lighting and low-hanging metal shrapnel everywhere, so when I was on it, I felt I was going get decapitated at any time. :D

I bought Roller Coaster Tycoon. I've also been on a couple coasters at Six Flags.

And no-one went on it because it had an excitement of 1 and a nausea rating of several million. And then it crashed and many, many people died. So you rebuilt it identically and all was well.

Actually, I was able to keep the excitement level under 10, and the nausia level at 9.5. It was a great success.

Now, my water ride that hurled people into another coaster to their death, but never reported the accidents, and just kept running and killing people was very exciting!!

I like the tower thing that shoots people up in the air at 90 miles an hour and then they crash onto a big spike and burst into flames... its fun. :D
