16 year old mother in Britian?

I'd be surprised if she knew who the dad might be let alone where he'a living.

Nag, aren't you currently dating a 16 year old? Would that be how you would behave, disappearing if she became pregnant?? Then why do you assume he is a worse bloke than you?

I'm not being snobbish, I'm making a cultural observation.

My girlfriend would never consider an abortion. While I think this is stupid, I have no right to try to convince her to change her mind.

The type of girl who gets pregnant at 16, tries to get an abortion, doesn't know that abortions don't have a 100% success rate AND tries to sponge off the government to support her kid is unlikely to have been in a commited and stable relationship.

And you know Jr isn't allowed out to play anymore. You were, of course, 100% right as to what her reaction would be after a week - but I have some self control.

I'm not even going to get started on the conversation we had today.

Harumf knows what I'm talking about.

On another note, I've found myself singing "My Jesus, My Saviour" (thank god for limewire!) and the last song from Grease a lot :S

This is actually sounding pitiful, but if you think it is the right way to go............

The second to last song. "You're the one that I want" - the one that goes "I've got chills, they're multiplying, and I'm losing control..."

The "My Jesus" has nothing to do with her, it's just one of my favourite songs and I limewired it when looking for a new national anthem for Nag.

As for how that conversation ended... well it kinda went like the last scene from Grease. (Yeah, don't start - I had a change of heart, couldn't stand the idea of breaking up with her.) I feel like I owe some friends some thanks for having a word with her.

I think we're going to be ok.

My much vaunted "self control" caved in yesturday - I'm only human, and a male teenager for gods sake! There's only so much begging I can stand, I'm switch not dom - I'm not made of stone.

We had a long conversation and got a lot of things in the open. We have a very similiar taste in men as well as women. Particularly in a certain mutual friend whom I think is hotter than Mr Shanks  , I'll have to email you the pictures if that developes (speaking of, you're holding out on me  ).

Now Grease 2 was so bad it made me want to burst my ear drums, but I seem to remember that despite "We Go Together" Sandy and Danny didn't make it. But hey, I'm going to ingore the crap sequal. Everything worked out at the end of Grease, it'll work out here.

I'm not holding out on you, I sent you three pictures of the suspension bridge I plan on crossing very soon!! The 28th if all goes well.

If anyone is holding out, it's you! You've never sent me anything. (No means no).

Now, I knew the begging and the teasing would happen - but I'm surprised the "You don't really love me", or the "You've found someone else" didn't kick in as well.

Good luck, and consider the whole truth some times. B)

Oh, and CE, considering you have already proven yourself a bad judge of horseflesh, I don't think you can help here!

Hmm... no.

Because you may or may not know him. He lives near us.

And to be honest, I too was surprised at the lack of guilt tripping. That's what made me think that this will, in fact, work.

And yeah, I'm holding out. I appologise. I don't trust digital media. Next time you're in my area, we'll have to go drinking or something.

Heh, honesty does seem to be a good policy.
