Indeed. I totally and completely agree.

Frued's work on the Ego was the only useful thing he brought to psychology.

Of course this has formed the basis for all forms of modern counsilling and was the basis of about what? About 90% of Frued's work?

Well, there is one other minor contribution of Freud's that you all seem to be forgetting? He invented modern psychological methodology!! No Freud, no couch.
