So, who already has plans this summer? Me: Starting Labor Day, and for seven days, Niagara Falls (Canadian side), and the wine country of Southern Ontario. Tennessee some time in mid-July, but not set yet. First week of August, Kings Island near Cincinnati. |

No vacations for me, I'm working and taking classes all summer. NH, are you a roller coaster enthusiast? If so, I highly recommend Cedar Point (in Sandusky, Ohio). |

Not much of one. I'm going to New York for a week, and might go to the shore in Jersey. Next year, I might actually do something interesting (go to Europe). |

Might do Cedar Point too! It is a great park. I am a wooden roller coaster enthusiet!! My brother is a member of the REA (Rollercoaster Enthusiests of America) and gets discount tickets all the time. So far he's got the King's Island ones he is going to let me use. |

Why would you go to the Jersey Shore? I'll be on a week-long cruise in the Caribbean. That's... July, I think. |

Istanbul is gorgeous, I'm sure you'll have a good time, Filo. As for myself, I head home soon and stay until mid-July. I'm thinking about planning something for August too. |

Oh, I know it is. I'm from Jersey. But meh. I still say it sucks. Black water and pink stingrays... South Beach, now there's a place. |

Same as, I've lived in the States for a year, but that was in Boston, but i've never basically been anywhere in the west of the U.S. I would definitely love to visit California... B) |

It's definately worth the visit. California has a little bit of everything: Sierra Nevada Mts if you like that sort of thing, skiing, etc; our own beautiful beaches and such in the South Bay; diverse urban centers like LA, SD and SanFran; world famous wine country (if you're of tha age) all over; and the redwood forests in the north, which are really beautiful. |

OOC: cool, however for the wine might get a bit nationalistic as my french side still is all in love with french wine, the best ever in the world, but talking of the beaches and the nice and hot weather, yeah definitely would love to go... :P :D B) |

I am actually one of the few people outside of New York that enjoys the Jersey Girl accent. That's one thing. But, I went to the Jersey shore when I was in New York, and it definately doesn't hold a candle to LA. And Deniz, you have to pay about a million dollars to taste the stuff anyways, damn Sideways movie ruined the whole thing. But its still pretty. |

I'm not a big fan of LA. In my opinion, Seattle > LA. Sunny weather be damned! The traffic is terrible...terrible, and without NYC's mass transit that makes things difficult. I couldn't imagine living somewhere like that. Although, its nice to go somewhere warm for a vacation every once in a while. |

Seattle<Hell!!! Rainy, nasty, and too many odd folks. LA trumps all. And I take public transit almost everywhere because my bug sucks ass. Its just too cool to ever get rid of...on my budget. :D |
