STFU Libertarian Bastard! :P  You may have noticied, but I have a problem with sizing. Being that absolutely nobody will resize my images! Not imageshack, nobody! So I have to use MS Picture Manager, which does the worst job imaginable. Be appreciative that I put the time in to get you a fucking map et al. At least I put more time into my RP than your post defeating the entire Sakhan army in the Asia-American war that consisted of two lines. <_< |

OOC: Careful with the personal assults, Hobbit! IC: Rockwell saw it. The entire rear of the Federal Army open for attack. Rockwell saw it, but remained in hiding. "Fuck California. Too many spicks and coons." He instructed his men to stay low, and off the radar. When the time was right, they would rise up and take control of Michigan and her Neighbors. Meanwhile, the newly named Gitchi Goochi Militia continued to stockpile weapons, munitions and food. Of particular interest to Rockwell was the recently abandoned SAC airlields in Michigan's upper pinninsula and Northern Minnesota. Both still housed SAC bombers, and nuclear weapons. |

With Rockwell refusing to attack the rear lines, the cities of the Puget Sound area were successfully reinforced against the attacks of the Bear Flag Republic. The new number of troops added began driving the enemy's forces out of Seattle and back to the shore from whence they came. |

A small army of Texican militia have just left Waco and are now on their way across Deseret to the Bear Flag Republic. From there, with BF Republican permission of course, they will proceed up to Washington to fortify the Republican forces there. |

OOC: Why send out pigons if you are'nt going to help anybody? <_< IC: General Blake's forces were wiped out, and the Federals moved on the sieges to the West. The defenses of Seattle and Tacoma were nearly spent, but the Bear Flag Army was forced to retreat in the face of the large contingent of federals. They fortified their positions in the south and in Olympia, and prepared to weather the storm. |

With the cities of Tacoma and Seattle secured, the next plan of action was brought together. A seige of Olympia was to take place and liberate it from Bear Flag Republican hands. Intelligence was reporting that a force sent from Texas was being sent to reinforce the Bear Flag Republic in the Pacific Northwest. The federal government had to strike before these new enemy units arrived, or it would be too late to declare ultimate victory. |

Fifteen thousand Texican militia men stood at the crest of a hill on the outskirts of Olympia. They were heavily armed with everything from automatic machine pistols and sawed off shotguns to homemade grenade launchers and hunting rifles equipped with sniper scopes. They headed down the hill to meet with the Republican forces and organize into regiments under Republican leadership. |

With General Blake now an enemy POW, Colonel Saunders was made a General. His first action in office was to accept command of "all Allied forces" in Washington. The Bear Flag Army, along with their Texican allies, began a massive counter-attack against the Federals, geared to push them back to Tacoma and defeat them there. |

Since both sides began an assault at the same time, the battlefield was a lot more chaotic than it had been before. Positions were difficult to track, but it could overall be guessed that the Federals were still defending Tacoma and Seattle while the seceded states were defending Olympia. The rest of the fighting took place on major highways and even in the Puget Sound Bay itself. Citizens, who've been advised to avoid trouble by staying indoors were now being advised to evacuate as the combat intensified. It seemed almost uncertain who would win. |

A Prince Amoung Men-Shoot First and Ask Questions Later

Prime Minister Steven Harper of the Remaining Canadian Republic was at Parliament in Ottawa. Quebec had seceded, the US had gone rogue...it was not a good month for Canada. Quebec had chosen to ignore the Americans for the time being and vice versa. But Canada was not so lucky. From outside the window, a bullet shot through Harper's head. A shout of "AMERICA!" was heard as the shooter escaped. OOC: This isn't really the US, nor is it Quebec...you'll see later. |

The Seceded forces hit the Federals hard. They had to make a very hard decision, keep their forces concentrated in Tacoma, or spli their forces more evenly to protect Seattle. It was clear that the Seceded states would soon capture Seattle if they were not somehow fought off. That would mean that Tacoma would be surrounded, and probably ultimately doomed. But if troops left Tacoma, that city might fall itself, as Seceded fire was concentrated there, and the Federal forces were just barely holding their own. Time was running out. |

The United States decided to take the risk and held its forces within Tacoma, they couldn't afford to lose both cities in one blow as it would destroy their image in the war. Seattle was barely holding on; however, and the troops fighting there were uncertain if they would be able to continue fighting. The U.S. was suffering badly for its forces being so widely divided across the map, and with all the seceded states seemingly fighting together in unison with coordinated attacks, the U.S. was for the moment, overwhelmed. Meanwhile, word of the Maitreya's miraculously healed headwound were rapidly spreading across the North American continent. Many disputes were made on this issue. Spiritual followers of the Maitreyan movement declared that this was evidence of the Maitreya's divinity and status as the Messiah. Hardcore Christians declared that this was evidence that the Maitreya was the Antichrist and the Shadow Government be opposed at all costs. Atheists merely declared that the Maitreya was not really shot in the head at all and it was all just silly religio-political propaganda. |

General Saunders made the executive decision to pincer and crush Tacoma in between Seattle and Olympia. He directed the Bear Flag forces northward, cutting off Federal supply lines once again. They then turned around and hit Seattle from the North. The Texans maintained the siege of Tacoma. Seattle, whose garrison had suffered much for the sake of the solidarity of Tacoma, was helpless to resist. In a mere 14 hours, the Bear Flag Army had taken the city center and was pushing the Federals out, towards Tacoma... |

It was an unfortunate state of affairs for the Federal Army. Seattle had finally been lost and now Tacoma was all that stood in the way of the Texans and Bear Flag Republicans (because the author thinks all the other major Puget Sound cities, especially Everett, suck). The military began to drastically fortify Federal Way and Fife in the north of Tacoma as much as they had Lakewood and University Place in the South. In addition, both ends of I-5 and surrounding highways had been heavily barricaded against any traffic. Fort Lewis, being nearly halfway between Olympia and Tacoma was expected to be assaulted first, and most of the defense garrisoned there. Things were looking ill for the Federal cause, but they wouldn't give up on the Puget Sound entirely without a fight. Tanks and armored assault vehicles lined the roads, waiting for the first approaches of their enemy. |

It was November 11th. Tomorrow was the start of the deer-rifle hunting season, and hundreds of hunters were gathered into the Schweinhaus Bar and Grill for their annual Oktoberfest, where they came together to show off their rifles, and pair up for the hunt tomorrow. Suddenly, the door burst open, and in came 20 brown-shirted men, carrying AK-47's, and they formed two lines from the door. Then, in walked George Lincoln Rockwell, also in a brown uniform, but unarmed. He carried his signature corn-cobb pipe, and walked briskly to the stage, where the German Band stopped playing. He grabbed the microphone, and shouted, "Freedom!" and gave a Roman salute. His men answered "Freedom!" in one voice. "Freedom!" he shouted again, and they responded. "FREEDOM!" "I am George Lincoln Rockwell, and I am here to tell you the truth. We deserve freedom. We thirst for freedom. Freedom is the birthright of every breathing Michiganer. But we don't have freedom. Not with a federal government bent on destroying our right to self-government. But we deserve it. And what is it? Freedom!" "Freedom" answered the crowd. "Look at us. We are Wolverines! We are Spartans! We are the sons of the great waters. We are the children of Gitchi Goomi. Yet we cower and hide from an illegal federal regime. FREEDOM!" "Freedom!" "You all know what is happening in the west, and what has happened in the east, and to the rest of the midwest. They are being controlled by black shirted federal facists, by national patsies, by illegal and unconstitutional terrorists, by a government that wants to destroy our religion, our children, our race. Washington. Oregon. New York. Ohio. Illinois. All gone. Well, we cannot stand by and let this happen. FREEDOM!" "Freedom" Suddenly, the federals inside the Schweinhaus rushed the stage to take out Rockwell, but before they got even a few steps, they were clubbed to the ground by the brown-shirted men, and the crowd roared. "Do you see? They want to silence us. They don't want to hear about the truth. But how can we fight their power and their force? FREEDOM!" "Freedom!" "There is a way, Michiganers. Yes, there is a way. We fought for freedom in the Civil War. In world war I. In world war II. In Korea, Vietnam, and in the Golf. Now, the time has come to fight for freedom outside our very own homes. FREEDOM!" "Freedom!" "I am George Lincoln Rockwell. And I am telling you the truth." "Rockwell. Rockwell. Rockwell. ROCKWELL!" "Now, who will follow me?" "We will" "Who will load their guns right now and follow me out that door?" "We will." "And into the streets?" "We will." "And on to FREEDOM!" With that, Rockwell ran to the door, followed by the entire crowd. Outside were a few of the federals who were quickly gunned down by the mob. They moved down the street, and marched into the wide intersection, only to find federal troops on both sides of them fully armed, with .50 calaber machine guns. Within minutes the whole crowd had been gunned down. Slinking in a doorway, unarmed, surrounded by 450 dead bodies, was Rockwell, unharmed. Federal authorities quickly handcuffed him, and threw him into a car, and sped away. |

"Think you're funny do ya? You'll learn some manners after spending weeks in this place," the guard said with a sneer as he shut the cell door on George Lincoln Rockwell. The brave rebel leader had been taken to the Federal Correction Center No. 235. It was in all accounts and purposes a concentration camp designed to break down the inmate's psyche through starvation and abuse to get the criminal to accept chipping and become a reformed member of what the administators called the "New Free Society." Rockwell had seen the starved inmates lumbering like gaunt ghouls led in chain gangs by armed guards. And he had seen the piled corpses of people who had eventually starved to death being burned in large pyres. It was like something straight out of Nazi Germany all over again. Suddenly the lights outside his cell door flickered, none functioning within the cell itself, and then a terrible scream coming from down the hall. Who knew what horrors were being practiced elsewhere in this facility? |

Rockwell was not broken. What he would miss most, of course, was his pipe, but he knew he would survive, and he knew he would not be in this place forever. A quick survey of the room, if you could even call it that, showed him two buckets, one with water and a cup, the other - well, it was empty at the moment, and had a pile of very coarse paper next to it. He saw the door was of thick, old oak, and he began digging into it with his nails. After several hours, he was able to pry a rather large splinter from the wood. He jammed it into his right palm, and blood began to flow. He sat on the floor, and took some of the brown and stiff paper, and, using his left hand, dipped the splinter into his own blood, and began to write in small but clear letters on the top of the first sheet, "My Struggle, by G. L. Rockwell." |

Several weeks passed with haphazard deliveries of water and gruel every three to five days. As George Lincoln Rockwell wrote his book in his own blood, he was growing hungry and dehydrated. Every few days he was taken to the camp's local counselor, the man coming off with a demeanor like that of a brainwashed Scientologist. Throughout their sessions as they spoke of Rockwell's childhood and private life, Rockwell mostly bullshitting, the counselor, Dr. Friedman, often brought up the possibility of getting chipped. It was eventually obvious that Dr. Friedman was trying to trick Rockwell into saying "yes." But eventually the day came when the camp received an increased military presence. Rumors spread among the inmates when they had to do their regular chores of physical labors each day that the so-called "United States" had just lost the entire Puget Sound area to the Bear Flag Republic and Texas. Nevertheless, no cheers were allowed or tolerated among the inmates, such behavior immediately receiving a harsh beating, or even a visit to the Medical Wing. The Medical Wing was a terrifying aspect of the camp, as inmates rarely returned from it. It was ran and operated by a man named Dr. Francis Cornelius who came and went from the Federal Correction Center No. 235 like the wind. It was said other camps throughout the nation received his equal attentions. In anycase, the inmates had privately named Dr. Cornelius "Mengele" for the twisted experiments he conducted. Nevertheless, these concerns rarely interfered with Rockwell's "My Struggle." |

OOC: Heh, overlooked this... IC: General Saunders finally broke down all Federal defenses of the Puget Sound area not by an all out assault, but by simply starving them out. The bastions of Tacoma and Seattle, bereft of all hope of reinforcement or resupply, finally capitulated on November 17. It was a red letter date. Secessionist forces now had free reign on the center of the state, wreaking havoc upon hastily constructed Federal defenses. As Saunders careened towards Spokane, the last redoubt of the Federal regime in Washington, the Federal troops began to abandon their efforts on the Pacific Coast. It was clear that if they wanted Montana and Idaho, they would have to abandon the fight elsewhere... |

The city of Spokane was barely even guarded, most of the Federal Army fortifying the region of the Rocky Mountains instead. Spokane was effectively deemed as a lost cause at the moment, the rest of the United States being more important to guard than Washington state. They might as well have simply handed Spokane to the Bear Flag Republic. |

The Bear Flag troops came upon Spokane virtually unopposed and began to pummel it with mortar and RPG fire. After softening up the already soft defenses, the Secessionists marched on the city center, throwing aside any opposition that sprung up. This battle was largely extraneous, because on paper, Washington was already completely under Bear Flag control. The next step would have to be an invasion of Idaho and Montana... |
