Wall Street, April 17 -

A mysterious company called Gog and Magog has arisen, seemingly out of nowhere.

Precious few details are known about Gog and Magog, except that it is incorporated in a Caribbean island, to escape high taxes. But so little is known about it that not many know for sure exactly which tiny Caribbean tax haven.

The only solid fact is that it is taking Wall Street by storm. Its stock was first offered this morning at $72 per share, and the price increased by 14,000% within three hours before stabilizing at an amazing $10,000 per share. Investors are in a bloodthirsty frenzy to get a hold of its stock shares, all 13,000,000 of which sold out within seconds of initial public offering.

Needless to say, experts everywhere are horrified by this company's performance on the stock markets. Gog and Magog has no business plan to speak of, and nobody even knows who its CEO is.

This would go down in history as the world's greatest fraud and most unprecedented and disastrous financial bubble.

Except for one detail.

Gog and Magog apparently has some exceedingly wealthy backers. It is rumored that the company has a cash reserve of $24 trillion. This is an absurd amount of money, and would be enough to run any company for eons.

Nobody seems to know who came up with all this money. A few cryptic codenames have been thrown around, including "Melanchthon" and "Sodom" and "Aldebaran."

In the midst of this delirium and mystery, so far investors are having blind faith that this company will make good with its epic amounts of cash and resources.

A Prince Amoung Men-Shoot First and Ask Questions Later
Aroanne Judic, CEO of Judic Corps, smiled as he claimed one of the last shares avaible. "If they can sell stocks for this much, they'll pay off," he said to his wife. "The question is, who the hell are these guys?"

OOC:

And these mysterious backers wouldn't happen to be members of the infamous Trilateral Commission, would they?
