OOC: I just realized I have a time problem. Sakha is waiting for the boat and going to visit the NeoDynasty. Can we wait for the Dynastian dinner to be over, before the voyage. |

OOC: Esternarx has scrapped its environment friendly nuclear energy program in favor of a cheaper and more smog producing oil and coal energy program in an effort to facilitate global warming and destroy this dangerous vessel. |

OOC: Then Norghtsia will Nuke Esternarx as a preemptive strike, altough global warming t melt the ship would take way too long, unless you have a couple centuries to wait. Or maybe I'll just refuse to put you on the map! :P
OK.
As usual. And it was in very bad taste. At least I kept as secret that was entrusted to me. I dare say you wouldn't have told me if Wadj had asked you to keep a seret from me concerning Norightsia. And I know who told you, so no need to be so secretive. |

AUPKV Greater Sakha was sitting at dock in Pilgyn. She was bedecked in the regalia of all states in the AU, but especially that of her home nation, Greater Sakha. The official christening ceremony was awaiting only the God King and the Emperor's arrivals. All other AU heads of state were invited, but it was only really important that the two nations that had built this ship and would sail it were there. Under a massive banner depicting the Norightsian and Sakhan flags combined, a podium awaited the two leaders' speeches. The Emperor was expected to confer the honor of breaking the champagne bottle over the ship to the God-King. Meanwhile, on board, everybody was rushing to prepare the ship for her maiden voyage. The Admiral was fierce, and the myriad of Sarawakhans, Norightsians, Assassins, Kamchattkans, Kiru Taoese, Matterians and more were balking under the enormous weight of his command. The Sahkans alone were unmoved. But all was generally well with this, the greatest ship afloat. OOC: If anyone wants to show up for the christening and perhaps make a speech, feel free. |

The Very Model of a Modern Major General
|
Earlier, in Kuching... "They want me to attend the christening of that giant ice-cube they call a ship?" asked the Raja incredulously. "Yes, your highness," replied his secretary. "How do we know that it won't just drift into the South Pacific and melt. hmm? How do we know that the crew won't chip off little pieces to cool their drinks? The whole idea is ridiculous." "But you should be there," said the secretary. "You haven't made any public appearances for quite a while. It would be good publicity for you to be a part of the maiden voyage." "I suppose, but I still think it's preposterous," said the Raja. "If anything goes wrong, I'll blame it on you. Pack my bags, then, I suppose." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Raja James Brooke II arrived in Pylgin with all the pomp and circumstance that was the bread and butter of most European Sarawakhans, but that the Raja found intolerably dull. After pasting a fake smile on his face for the entire limo ride, his cheek muscles were finally allowed to rest when he was taken into a lounge to await the ceremony. The smile the Raja wore when he greeted Galerius Quintilianus was genuine, however. "Galerius," said the Raja. "It's so good to see you again. It's been far too long!" The Norightisan Emperor smiled and shook the Raja's hand. "It's good to see you too, James." Even the Raja's smile towards the God King was genuine, although the leader of Greater Sakha had always made him rather nervous. "So, I hear you two have invented a floating snowball to defend the northern seas," joked the Raja. The God King merely nodded solemly. Galerius, however, laughed. "Don't worry," he said. "It's quite safe." |

I want in on your next RP just so that I can post plot-lines all over the place. Do you really have to continue being a bitch about this. Perhaps I should take this up with the mods. |

Galerius had just arrived from New Harumf. He still had the sword of St. Stephen buckled to his waist. He was genuinely glad to see the Raja, the friendship between the two offices was legendary. He nodded to his friends, and took the honor of the first speech of the day. "Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the christening of what has been eloquently described as a floating snowball." Everyone laughed for a short time, and the Emperor was beaming throughout, clearly proud out of his mind. "However, I assure you that nothing any enemy can produce can best this baby in the cold seas. Already, her sister ship Kiru Tao is under construction. Together, they could take the whole EPC Battleship fleet if the battle were in the Bering." The audience clapped ecstatically. The three world leaders exchanged a knowing glance, immortalized on a photo that would be among the Emperor's three most famous. "But really now, my friends, we have a particular job to do. Here to christen the ship, a man who contributed a lot more to this ship and this nation than his name, the Great King of Greater Sakha, Sakha." |
