Two New Gods; A deification

After careful consideration, the high priests of Greater Sakha have chosen to deify Shi Conn and Shoa Conn. The two new gods will serve in the spiritual realm as servents of the great god Sakha. God-king Sakha has commented that he has spoken with the two new gods, and that they are most dutiful servants, and have adjusted well to deity.

Temples in Greater Sakha have started allowing images of Shi and Shoa at the altar of the minor gods, and in depictions showing Sakha surrounded by his servants.

Amish tourists, looking over the squallor in the streets of Greater Sakha, and after hearing of the news of the dieification, were overheard saying, "Perhaps their King should feed the living before dieifying the dead?"

EEN: Eastern Empire News

After receiving word that the first and Second Sovereign's of the Eastern Empire have been deified in the land of Greater Sakha, the people took the streets in celebration. Though the Eastern Empire is still a nation of which has no official religion and furthermore has outlawed it, the people are pleased that their former great leaders are being honored in the way they should be.

Sovereign Shing Tishomi has this to say:

The high priests of Greater Sakha should be commended for their actions. Dynastian everywhere have known of the greatness which was our former leaders and to know that they have now me immortalized is even greater. Oh behalf of the Eastern Empire I send my praise and thanks to God-king Sakha and would warmly welcome him to my humble nation for a feast to celebrate the newly deified gods.

No word yet from God-king Sakha if he or any representative of Greater Sakha will be available for such a feast and celebration. This has been an EEN special report.

OOC: Finally they get some well earn respect

My nation's religion is different from your nation's. Where your nation names as Saints those men who pursue your virtues, our nation makes deities out of those who pursue violence and war. This is the way of our people. They worship death and slaughter.

If your anger is not at the deification itself, but at the choice of deity, then I must asure you that any bad behavior on the part of my new slaves will be punished. You must simply tell me their offenses, and I will see that they pay for it.

I hope that this has not irrevocably damaged our friendship.

The God-king will accept Sovereign Toshimi's invitation. He would like to assert that religion can do a lot of good in the world, and suggest that Toshimi legalize the worship of the God-king in the Eastern Empire.

OOC: The GQ thing was a spoof. No, I suppose its not any worse than worshipping Sakha.

And I wonder what the Pope would do if they deified GQ lol.

Well, I thought GQ may have been angry because of his hatred for Shoa. But seriously, GQ is aggressive enough that its certainly possible. It would be amusing, at the very least.

As for the Raja, is this the present Raja or the deceased one? If it is the present one, let him take on a warlike demeanor in life. For either one, you would best be served with some sort of propaganda campaign among the Sakhans.

You know what hapens to GQ in the end. A worthy death for a God of the Sakhans, no? I am actually seriously considering the implications of deifing him. I don't see any reason why not actually, I say do it! Just wait until he's dead.

Great, it should work well!! If the Raja joins then for that cruise, maybe he gets deified too?! And we will wait for their deaths. Men become gods after death. Only the God Sakha becomes a living man. (and YHWH for you Catholics!)

Wadj would probably freak. The Raja may have a very longswim ahead of him though. Perhaps he will unknowingly stumble upon some sharks? You can't escape death forever.

Shangri-la, The Eastern Empire
Posted Image

It was another glorious day within the Eastern Empire. It was raining, the sun hadn't been seen in days and every Dynastian's life couldn't be better. Sto-Vo-Kor, the Imperial Palace was bustling with activity.

Since the recent news of making his father and grandfather Gods, Shing saw this as a perfect opportunity to meet and get to the God-King. For years now the Conn had seen a potential ally in Greater Sakha but never had the chance to truly investigate the possibilities, now it seemed was the perfect chance.

The Sovereign spared no expense, having brought in some of the finest chefs the Eastern Empire had to offer and preparing a feast the likes of which were never seen before. As for Sto-Vo-Kor herself, she was scrubbed from top to bottom, every demonic painting, statue, and sculpture shining in all their splendor and glory.

The Tek re'ma (royal guards of the Sovereign) were stations all around the palace. It was an important day for Shing and he wouldn't let anyone interrupt it. For that reason the Tek re'ma were ordered to kill anyone who could show proper identification and passes to enter the palace. Of course later Shing would fine out some harmless maids were killed because of they couldn't produce their passes quickly enough, but he really wouldn't care.

Shalak-gul were stationed all around the Imperial Airstrip, awaiting the arrival of the God-King. A convoy of the finest vehicles were also on hand to escort his majesty, from the airstrip to Sto-Vo-Kor, making sure to pass through some of Shangri-La's more beautiful posts so that the God-King could take in all the sites.

With everything almost ready and time drawing near all Shing could do now is sit and wait. He had great confidence and if anything he would at least get the God-King to begin the question were his allies really stood.

After his flight, and the scenic trip to the palace, the God-king was escorted into Sto-Vo-Kor, where the dinner would take place. He was greeted courteously and provided with service by the servants at the palace, and was welcome by the Sovereign. When the time came for the lavish dinner with Sovereign Shing Toshimi, God-king Sakha was delighted by the magnificant feast that had been arranged.

OOC: Well then follow away  basically the conversation on Shing's part is just going to be a load of propaganda. He's going to try his hardest to get the God-King to question the motives of certain nations and the validy of the AU and who really controls it. Shing is almost certain that he won't be able to get the God-King to complete go against all this, but if he can atleast get him to questions a few things it's all the better. He's ultimate goal of could would be to have a stron ally out of Greater Sakha, but with limited knowledge of the God-King and nation as a whole he's just going to take "baby steps" at this point. Also, I think I have a feel for how to protray your God-King, but for this first post of the conversation I'll keep his response minimal since I'm not 100% sure. I'll wait until you post before really trying to protray him.

IC:

The Sovereign was pleased to see the God-King, this being only the second time. He was an interesting man and the Conns have viewed him with great interest.

The table had been filled with some of the finest food the Eastern Empire had to offer. Grant it most of it was made from the intestines of one animal or the other and a few dishes were serve raw like the Gagh, it was a fine feast. To drink the Sovereign pulled out his best barrels of Chech'tluth. It's an alcoholic beverage much stronger than whiskey and Dynastian know few who care for it outside the Empire, but the God-King seemed to enjoy it. The Sovereign was actually surprised to see the God-King enjoy himself at the feast. Most outsiders who have ever witnessed a Dynastian meal, usually few it with disgust.

After about the third course (the traditional Dynastian feast lasting 5 courses) the Sovereign decided to begin what he hoped to be a productive dinner conversation with his guest.

So your excellency I can't tell you how pleased I am to have such an honored guest in my humble dinning hall. Your legendary greatness both on and off the battle field has travel as far south as my nation.

It is so pleasing to find that our two cultures are not as different as one would expect. We both yearn for the thrill of battle and bask in the glow of victory while we stand above the bodies of a slain enemy and drink to victory. However, sadly these are different times, times of peace and diplomacy. To truly find a good battle one must hunt it out and even then it is not always to the death.

It truly is a shame that the world has driven itself to this point wouldn't you agree your holiness?

The God-King nodded as he continued to feed himself, he still seemed to be enjoying everything and continually motioned to the servants for more Chech'tluth.

Yes, it truly is a shame that nations resort to other methods when it comes to attacking their enemy. It used to be that they would challenge you to your face and then your armies would meet on the battlefield and fight to the death. Now they ally themselves with you under false means so that they can covertly suppress your strength. They build false organizations like, well take the AU for example.

That single statement caught more of the God-King's attention. Shing noticed this and replied quickly.

Now I mean no disrespect by I have to as an outside question it's motives and to question who really is in charge. What has the AU done for anyone here in Asia? To me, if I may, it seems that some nations merely use it for their own personal gain. They use it to attack other nations and take their lands and on top of that they insult their fellow members.

Wasn't Greater Sakha who wished to put one of their own as head of the Military forces of the AU? To mean that seemed like the logical choice given your nations excellency in warfare. However, that's not how it worked out did it for your nations was out voted by the nations of the AU, and another less qualified nation took the position. In my humble opinion that was an outrageous turn of events and a great dishonor to your nation and it's excellency in the art of war.

I suppose though that I am not in a position to judge such actions however, I would like to know how you felt of such an action?
