Far as I am concerned, if someone wants to say they have a huge trade surpuls, and 3rdGeek disagrees, screw ThirdGeek. If we just refrain from using superlatives, everyone will be happy.

Thats like saying I have a bigger military then Paradise!!!

It would ruin the RP experience!

No, because that's a superaltive(not really but I don't remember the "more" one) You would be unable to say bigger.

"I have a huge military" said Flumes
and
"I have a huge military" said Paradise

Cannot be equal. That would completely ruin the game.

Meh. I thought I would have done better. Oh well. Either way I've been gearing towards military anyways, and slacking on economy and other issues. Once I get some time, A.A. is going to become a lot more militaristic and expansionist.

The "infintate exchange rate bug" does work both ways. Hence Thirdgeek being a GUIDE. ThirdGeek should be made for comparisoms only - and even then it shouldn't be taken literally. Esternarx has the strongest currency in Asia, doesn't mean it's worth what ThirdGeek says it's worth.

Now as for:

"I have a huge military" said Flumes
and
"I have a huge military" said Paradise

That's why we ask you write up a draft of your military on the forum or wiki so we can check that it's fair.

Nevertheless, thirdgeek is still an extremely useful and valuable resource for determing one's economic prowess, provided you don't take advantage of bugs, like I did... ^_^

By the way, Esternarx's GDP per Capita is now $39,606.24 Making Esternarx second in Asian Continent and second overall. w00t!

Well I have the highest trade surplus in Asia! :P

Unless your economy is in a recession, a trade surplus is not something to be particularly proud of...

Investopedia

The balance of trade is one of the most misunderstood indicators of the economy. For example, many people believe that a trade deficit is a bad thing. However, whether a trade deficit is bad thing or not is relative to the business cycle and economy. In a recession, countries like to export more, creating jobs and demand. In a strong expansion, countries like to import more, providing price competition, which limits inflation and, without increasing prices, provides goods beyond the economy's ability to meet supply. Thus, a trade deficit is not a good thing during a recession but may help during an expansion.

grrr... I guess that means I drop back to third overall...

oh well, I still have a trump card left to play.... You have a frightening economy and thats the highest possible whereas I have an all consuming economy (second highest), meaning that when I do become frightening, I'll get another huge boost in my gdp per capita, which will probably put me over the top and make me 1st in the world.

Just for giggles I might look it up and see. The programming I mean.
