Okay, I know it's policy that we only have one nation per map, but it's been noted before that American continent is actually two continents by many people, and after Paradise said that we'd have a seperate poll for this, I decided to go ahead.

You know my position on this :D

The two maps are now in the same topic, but they are still separated. I think it would be a good idea to keep them separated if the "two nations" option wins.

I say two.

I only intend to have the one, so it doesn't bother me none.

Still... makes sense to have 2 - so long as it's one in the North and one in the South.

If its one nation I will just take Hawaii into Colombia, if that is allowed. (If not I will just RP expansion...) I will go with 2 though.

The more I think about it, the more I want to only have to deal with 1 nation's issues. Would it be possible for me to control Hawaii through Colombia. It would just be part of the colony, 1 colony. Like it is a State of the US today??? That would mean Flumes would have released 1 colony, (Expansionist Flumes in Asia) and still have one in America, The Colony of Expansionist Colombia, which would include Hawaii and Colombia.

I voted for only one. It's the way it's always been.

:D Well it was the only word that came to me at the time, plus I'm trying to clean up the language since I have a one-year-old nephew that is almost constantly around me

An even if we can have two, I'm still only going to RP one. I've got too many nation already to a degree. For that reason i deleted my description of Hispania Ulterior and I'm going to let it die on NationStates. Who ever is in charge of the SA map, you may take me off of it.

It's just funny to me because in London if you say butters it means ugly - 'She is butters!'

Really? wow learn something new everyday

You know that reminds me of something my brother told me, a slang term for butter though you really pronounce the word as "Butta" not "butter" in this reference. Say you say a girl that had beautiful body but not a pretty face, you would say she's a "butta head" because everything is beautiful except her head (face). Well it's really not that funny, but thinking of that reminds me of so many things me and my brother discuss, however I don't believe they are appropriate for the forum :ph43r: :gnarkgnark:

The lower class Londoner prounciation is but-ah.
The cool Black way is butta - think of the Will Smith song of the same name.

Just to clear that up.

Anyone hear "no use crying over spilt butter"? It'd just be interesting if you did, it's more of a cliche thing rather than well used slang.

Actually, to be honest, the South London way of pronouncing butter would be like this:

'buh-ah'

No -t sound because they have a glottal stop which means that a defined -t sound is dropped.

Guys, it's neck and neck. Seeing this, and also the fact that some of the people who voted one way don't even have a nation in the Americas, shouldn't we are on the side of more freedom for nations?

Exactly, couldn't agree more.

Paradise, just over rule the poll and decide on one nation per map.
