The Very Model of a Modern Major General

Please read the following bios of the different candidates before voting. Hassan Solaimani-- Solaimani was born in Port Said, Egypt, and currently lives in Cairo. He is an experienced politician known for his honesty. He supports a strong effort to expel the Scythirans from Wadj, as well as to fortify Egyptian Wadj against the Trilateral Commision, a nation that he sees as hopelessly corrupt and evil. He is a moderate Liberal in his politics, and will most likely remove some government restrictions on Wadji businesses in order to help the economy. Mashad Dastghayb-- Dasghayb is the only non-Muslim being considered as the next Sultan of Wadj. He is a Zoroastrian, and lives in the rocky wilderness of western Wadj. Not much is known about Dasghayb, except that he is very concerned with civil liberties. Though the Wadji government is one of the least intrusive in the world, it is widely believed that, if chosen as the next Sultan, Dasgayb will be a staunch defender of the civil liberties of the Wadji people. Yousef Nassiri-- Yousef Nassiri is an extremely liberal member of the Wadji Royal Family. His home is in Scythiran-controlled territory, and he is adamant that the current regime in Scythirus must be replaced for the safety of not only Wadj, but also the entire Middle East. He also supports increased government assistance to the needy, and more restrictions on big business. Jafar Bushiri-- Jafar Bushiri is a very moderate candidate for Sultan. Though he believes in a strong Wadji military, and in support for Wadji public programs, he also a fiscal conservative. If chosen as Sultan, he has pledged to reshape Wadji as a defensive military power, and to patch up many of the rivalries Wadj has had in the past. |

OOC: A Zoroastrian! Interesting. I think we could use the change of religion. Vote Dastghayb! ;) |
