The Very Model of a Modern Major General
|
Sultan Ibrahim of Wadj died earlier today of a stroke in his Palace in Sindh. Ibrahim was a staunch defender of Wadji independence in the face of Scythiran invasion. His death took place during the tense negotiations surrounding the redistribution of territory in Israel. Unfortunately, the Sultan did not have any heirs, and so the Senate has the task of electing a new Sultan. An emergency session of the Senate is scheduled to meet within the next few days to begin the search for a new leader. The streets of unoccupied Wadj were filled with citizens mourning the loss of the Sultan. The mayor of Sindh declared a day of mourning and reflection when he heard the news of Sultan Ibrahim's death. No one is sure who will be chosen to replace the Sultan. Two top candidates are Hassan Solaimani, the Egyptian governor of the Province of Cairo, and Mashad Dastghayb, a Zoroastran from Western Wadj. Both are highly skilled at governing, and both have family connections with the late Sultan. The public seems optimistic about both candidates. But for now, the nation of Wadj mourns the loss of a great leader and statesman. |

Will there be a funeral? I really want to send someone to a funeral, but the Hashim funeral never took off. |

We feel with the people of Wadj and send our deep condolences Like the CNNP we would send a delegation to the funeral to express our respect to Wadj and our will to maintain diplomacy with BP nations. Again, we feel very sorry for the people of Wadj for the death of their beloved leader. |

Nag Ehgoeg offers it's condolances to the people of Wadj. Finding another 'leader' willing to bow down before the Paradisian war machine and continue leading his people down the path of willing slavery trod by all puppet states will be hard to come by in a wise nation that we once held in high regard for it's wisdom and independence. Should a public funeral be held, we doubt Nagian Officals will have the time to put in an appearence. |

Condolences from New Harumf. We will not be sending a representative to the funeral because of recent failures in security at affairs of state around the world. The Amish have no wish to attend. The Lambda League will send a minor corporate executive. Atlantis Primary will not attend. Gitchi Goomi will not attend. |

The TC concurs with Nag Ehgoeg. Sultan Ibrahim has reduced the nation of Wadj from a respected, resolute pillar of the Middle East to a fawning dependency of Paradise. No official TC delegation will be sent to the funeral of this mediocre politician. |
