OOC Flumes, is it alright to replace the old government with a new dictatorship? Except this new dictatorship will not be so quick to declare war on everyone, and will be much more subtle and cunning. ;) IC Secret transmission To: Hercule l'Poissonet, Le Congo Leopold From: James Morley, Trilateral Commission Dear friend, We have straightened things out. Flumes will cease its wars and disputes, and will be an ally of the Order. ********** Mar. 17, Acies, Flumes - In a lightening flash of events, the controversial Berriko Nebricks regime has fallen. Nebricks has truly overstretched the resoruces of this nation; disgruntled military operatives in the Flumesian military staged a coup overthrowing the government, and has declared peace with all the nations the Nebricks regime was harrassing. The coup was assisted by Trilateral commission agents in central Africa. Several TC aircraft carriers in the Gulf of Nigeria launched intimidation flights over the Flumesian capital to calm the populatce down, while thousands of TC military perssonnel have entered the nation, covertly or openly. The Al Araamenian tankers in the port have been released. TC special forces are already in the Congo Jungle Basin, eradicating the unruly tribesmen. A new Flumesian government is being built by Flumesian military officials with TC aid. The TC wil give economic and military assistance to the new regime. |

The Araamenian tankers steamed out into the Atlantic and met the joint Sistani/Araamenian battlegroup 120 miles off the coast of Flumes. The order for a massive cruise missile strike against important government buildings around Acies, including the residence of President Nebricks had already gone out. Luckily, the order was countermanded mere seconds before the cruise missiles were to be launched. The taskforce turned around, heading for the Southern tip of the African continent and then for their home waters in the Arabian Sea. |

I think its fair of me to say no Sistani ships. Sistan has left, and so his nation is in isolation until we see fit to get rid of it. |

I just mentioned them for the sake of continuity. The main point of the post was just that all naval forces en route to Flumes have turned around and are headed for their respective countries. |

With this new turn of events in the nation of Flumes, The Free State of Le Congo Leopold rescinds its declaration of war. However, to ensure that Flumes does not come under the control of such an evil dictator ever again, we are sending in five corps of the Force Publique to oversee the nation along with the forces of the Trilateral Commission. These forces will not merely be a military presence, but will also help to rebuild the nation, and protect its inhabitants from harm. --Hercule l'Poissonet, Spokesman for Kurtz, Leader of Le Congo Leopold |

"Our government applauds the actions of this revolution and the actions of our great ally, the Trilateral Commission. Hopefully, this will be teh beginning of a new era of peace and prosperity between the nation of Flumes and The CNNP. All trade embargos and sanctions between our nations are officially dissolved. We hope that in the future we can be of assistance to the development of a democracy in Flumes and we wish to establish diplomatic relations with Flumes immeadiately." Presidente Luis Macchi |
