While we are in a time of tragedy, I am afraid that I have a most important matter to discuss. At the funeral, I spoke with a man named Augustine Jordanus, of Norightsia. Perhaps some of you also met him. This man is quite important to use right now.

Jordanus has an offer for us, which we must carefully consider. You see, he is currently planning a coup against His Most Catholic Majesty, Galerius Quintillianus. If we back him, covertly of course, he's willing to devote the country to our causes. Now, Norightsia is one of Asia's major powers, and one of the Pope's most active allies. Securing them would be a great victory. I should let you know that I have reason to believe that Jordanus used his contacts to help secure Ammochostiot supremacy in the Asian Regional UN. So he's got leverage and he's willing to use it for our sake.

However, there are naturally going to be cons to this scheme. We've got our hands tied in Palestine, and the Pope's certainly gonna' back GQ if it comes to Civil War. But this needs to be considered carefully.

OOC: So that is what he is planning. No wonder he ignored me!

Well, you know that this will mean war. I am not losing Norightsia. And if you are helping them RD, I will consider you to have broken the non-agression treaty and will be invading you.

Hence the covert nature of any potential aid.

Well, I will be looking at every little detail in order to see who is helping the anti-Catholic revolution that will happen in Norightsia because the people, being devout Catholics that they apparently are, will not be happy with having the Church thrown out of the country. That makes sense IC.

I'm just posting to bring this to Norightsia's attention, since I think he missed it, him being on vacation. Just want to make sure he sees it.

OOC: No, don't show him it. However, I like how he doesn't reply to my telegram on this. <_<

OOC:

When did you send the telegram? Was it before or after he went on vacation? Also, I'm only showing it to him becaue it is his story, and I wanted to make sure he realized that I had done my part.

I sent it to him whilst he was on vacation, but I don't see what relevance that has to my statement. The fact remains, regardless of when I sent it, that he has not bothered to reply to it.

Well he didn't really log on while on vacation. He may not have read his pm's after he got back yet. It is of the utmost relevance to your statement.

This is Norightsia we are talking about. He would have read them. And I appreciate the fact that he may not have logged on when he was on vacation.

But the fact remains, it is of no relevance to my statement.

He hasn't been on all that much since he came back. He has posted very little. Compare that to his usual activity rate, and it is clear that he is not fully "back." Thus, it is possible he still hasn't read your private message.

I'm basing this off my own experience. Now normally, I have a very high activity rate; I am on many times during the day, and have a pretty high post count (though dwarfed by yours, of course ^_^ ). When I leave for a few days or more, it usually takes a bit of time to get back in the groove, and a day or two before I reply to private messages. Based on observation of Norightsia's participation since his return, it would appear that he is going through a similar pattern.

I don't think that's true. The real reason is probably because I will be pissed off when he tells me his plans.

However, this also brings other issues to the forefront - the very recent phenomen of keepin RP plans very secretive. Something that we have inherited from Egyria which I don't like (and is contrary to Patrua's teaching in which all plans should be fully opened and discussed before hand).

Yes, that does seem to be at the core here. I'm going to stop speculating on Norightsia's state of mind and let him answer himself.

As for secrets, I chose to post the thing about rebellion in Norightsia in this thread, instead of by private message for that very reason.

I have just seen the PM and replied. RD was 100% right, but I hope to be al the way back by tomorrow. This is a RP I have been planning for a very long time, and believe you me, I know what is going on right now. The Norightsians are loyal to GQ and the Catholic Church, not necessarily the Pope. Norightsians like Emmanuel the least of any Pope so far. When GQ dies, there will be a revolution, and whether or not it goes well for the Loyalists is up to me.

Collaboration, yes. But my RP is in no wa dependant on theirs. My RP predates the Schism, and is merely using it as a supplement.
