Is there a way to transfer your bookmarks from another browser into Firefox? I have a lot of sites bookmarked, and I don't want to have to go to all of them and bookmark them again.

Yup.

When you first install firefox it asks if you want to transfere any information from IE.

Or go "Bookmarks -> Manage Bookmarks -> File -> Import"

I've already told you on quickchat, but other people might want to know.

So, is the QuickChat thing broken for anyone else? 'Cause it's broken for me. It doesn't say QuickChat (# Users) anymore, and it has just become a little dot in my bottom bar. Is this happening to anyone else, or is it just me?

Me too. And when I try to open it from the Tool menu, it just blanks out half my screen.

I can't download it because it is saying it is not compatible with Fierfox versions 1-1.5 or something.

I refuse to download it because I am not allowed to download. And you can scoff all you want, it is not my fault I have a father like he is.

 , it's okay man. My father can be, well for a lack of educated words, an ass.

So you're allowed to go out drinking and ruin your health, but not allowed to download useful and harmless files?

Seriously dude, you're a man now. Time for some teenage rebellion.

I love and respect my father, if he asks me not to do something then I'll try and convince him of my point of view in the same way I'd try to convince anyone else. If he still says no then I do it anyway behind his back.

Fortunately, he respects me as much as I respect him - which is great as I havn't moved out yet :P

You need to stand up for yourself CE.

The worst that can happen is you stand up and your dad beats you down.

But I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees.

It does seem weird though. Does your dad know what Quick Chat is?

It's not weird. It's called having over-controlling parents who do not know the concept of privacy. It's the same in my whole family. My mum recently found out (through me actually) that my sister has had a boyfriend for the last 3 months. The next thing I know, my Aunty is ringing up to talk to my sister and the first thing she asks is - 'Have you been having sex?' and 'Are you on the pill' etc.

That's the little amount of privacy that we are afforded in my family.

As for my Dad and computers, he knows evrything to do with them. He will know what Quick chat is, he probably has it on his computer. However, that does not mean because he has it that I would be allowed it. He would just delete it when he gets on my computer.

I don't want to be butting in to your family life, really. But I have to bring up Nag's point as a parting shot. Your father lets you go out drinking, but he will not allow you to have some harmless chatroom? Dange-o-meter= drinking>Quick Chat=(me=)

I don't drink in front of them, I don't live at home. They don't know how much I drink. They're not anti-alcohol either, infact he loves his pints (and plenty of them).
