CLEVELAND ROCKS!
Might be a little to soon for spring cleaning. But I was looking at how United Elais was inactive for that long on here and wonder how many other countrys are still active in the regions but no longer RP (sitting on the map...). Or are deceased nations. I just think we should check it out and clean up the maps.

It's usually at the discretion of the mapmakers to remove or not countries off the map. Let's take Resplendent Dawn for example. He used to be a very active member some months ago, but now all his nations are gone and we have no clue to what's going on. What are we supposed to do?

United Elias is a special case. He doesn't show up on the off-site board nor write a single word on the NS board for two years. Yet, he still has a spot on the Middle East map (not for long though).

The most common case is the guy who asks to be on a map and then we never hear from him again. One month later, his nation disappears and we usually wait 1-2 month to be sure he won't come back before removing his nation from the map.

The mapmaker has an arbitrary job...

He does, however, log into his nation.

I think we need to check that an innactive nation is actually innactive before picking them apart. Maybe ask them to be more active on the forum if they want to keep their map spot.

Well as for me, I'm here now. I'm not sure if I intend to roleplay in the near future, but I'll let you guys know. For now my nations can stay, though even if I keep playing, I will probably drop at least a nation, and the others would go through some big changes.

More than two nations is a waste of time anyway. I know that many members do it here, and I admire them for that. I could never ever follow up with 4 or 5 nations simultaneously.

Yes, I could do it for awhile, but no longer. I am going to stick with one, maybe two nations. I haven't decided which ones yet, however.

By the....oh well skip it...you're alive RD good to see you.

As for keeping up with multi-nations, it is very taxing but I personally find it interesting, though I do believe that I'm spreading myself thin and am thinking of droping my ME nation.

Any suggestions on what I should keep?

I will almost definately keep the Resplendent Dawn, though I'd welcome arguments against it. I will probably only keep one other nation. Feel free to consider my SA nation, if you know of them.

If I keep Greater Sakha, I will of course keep it in both its regions. Also, I could reasonably keep Gallia as a third nation, but under the condition that it was completely integraded into the Holy Orthodox Empire.

I think we need to get rid o Poland, plus his claim on cologne, on the European Map. He has been inactive for like 7 months! Taking up a lot of room

Hey, I just talked to Poland today, and he claims he'll make a revival. We've been plotting something for the near future.

1) I agree about the whole multiple nations thing. Catholic Europe takes up so much of my time already I just don't have the hours in the day to consider more nations.

2) My worse nightmare this plan between Saxe-Coburg and Poland I am thinking...lol!
