While we're on the subject, is Nag approved for HL membership? Do we have some sort of offical "friend of the League" title or what?

Well, either the leader is Catholic or 50%+ of the population are Catholic - those are the requirements for membership of the League.

As it is I think that you already have observer status but to become a full member you need to be in line with either or both of the requirements above.

Offically Nag Ehgoeg is over 50% Catholic as it's the only recognised religion. Practically, there's no way that's ever going to happen.

Hmm, well the Church will want to see non-governmental figures to support those claims. You may have to remain as an observer unless you wish to convert the leader as a symbol more than anything else.
