OOC: I think it was 1 million barrels of oil per day. USOI might have a more accurate number with him.

As far as I know, in 1973 the Israelis were producing around 95,000 bbl/day of oil in the Sinai, but currently the oil production in the Sinai peninsula accounts for only 5% of Egypt's total 740,000 bbl/day production rate, which is 37,000 bbl/day.

I'll take the Isrealis' figure, thank you very much! :D

Would Kavkazistan be elligible to join OPEMEC? Our figures are at approximately 1,000,000 bbl/d (2010 estimate)(see article for reference). Otherwise, the CIA factbook has 2005 figures at 477,000 bbl/d

OOC: The only prerequisites are to produce crude oil and to sell it at the price set by OPEMEC.

IC: Paradise votes in favor of Kavkazistan adhesion to OPEMEC.

Our Government wishes to increase steadily its cooperation with OPEMEC member states from the Middle East to reach a favourable tariff for our oil imports, as currently our nation is experiencing a dire oil shortage. We hope to increase our bilateral relations with all states in the region and that peace and stability will triumph in that troubled place.

We strongly believe it would be in both OPEMEC's and our Nation's interest to strengthen our energic partnership for the good of our populations. We thus propose a diplomatic trip by our Foreign Minister to the nations that compose the OPEMEC.

Al Araam also believes that it would be in the best interests of the nations concerned if relations between OPEMEC nations and Great New France were strengthened. In conjunction with our Minister of State Affairs' appearance at JAUST headquarters, we believe that a diplomatic trip by the French Foreign Minister would serve this end admirably.

Our Government would like to propose a possible date, around the end of this week for our Foreign Minister, Mélanie Argimon to go on an official visit to Al Araam. We furthermore would like to discuss with Al Araami officials which date would suit them most.

Does OPEMC still exist if so I would like to join (The ASA-Arv on the map) I am in the area of Kazakhstan which over the last 5 years has been moving up in the oil industry and at this time produces around 6 million barrels of oil a day since my country is new and I don't control all of real life Kazakhstan i was thinking it would produce around half as much 3.25-3.65 million barrels a day.
Well of those signed to the original treaty, only Paradise and the Roman Empire (formerly Resplendent Dawn) still exist. Paradise, the player, hasn't RPed in sometime now, and RD's Roman Empire is technically on the way out. That all said, if you'd like to start a new alliance along these lines, you can certainly start a thread to resurrect this kind of alliance and I'm sure there's enough of us that would get in on it.
