To: Bijan Namdar Zanganeh, Minister of Oil and Energy, Al Araam

Paradise agrees. Let's raise the price to US$68.50 a barrel. These are times of uncertainty, I'm sure the World will understand this is a fair and needed raise.

Neo Paradise's crude oil production will be integrated to OPEMEC, as the said oil is always shipped to Paradise for refining. This now should make Paradise the most important oil producer in the World.

Catholic Europe views, with suspicion, the growing stranglehold that Paradise, Al Araam and the various other members of OPEMEC, have on the worlds energy supplies.

Have no fear everyone, oil development from my colonial possessions in Ecuador will produce 500,000 barrels of crude per day once they are online.

Burgundy don't like this matter.

US$72.00 is an high price and our plastic industry just born will suffer greatly...we cease to buy oil from Al Araam and start to buying from CNNP if they propose a better price...

This only confirms that the cartel of OPEMEC only seeks to create tensions and wars in order to hike up oil prices so that they may extract more and more money from the nations of the world.

I urge all nations to begin to use alternative energy fuels so that reliance on OPEMEC will not be as great, and therefore their stranglehold reduced.

"Menhad rufuses to buy oil from the OPEMEC, and new Nuclear power plants are being built. These prices are too high and research in new fuels, like water and water powered cars. We will buy from the CNNP"-Menhad

New nuclear power plants being built... Hmm... Sounds suspicious. And the oil thing is a perfect cover. Menhad, are you building WMDs? UN, where are you?

We have already invested heavily in nuclear, hydroelectric, and gasohol energy resources and our colonies will be producing around 600,000 barrels a day.

1. Welcome to our new OPEMEC members: Resplendent Dawn and Wadj! Now you should give us the names of the officials (and positions) who signed the treaty so we can update the first post;

2. I think we should add a fourth article, a procedure for new memberships. I propose it should be a majority vote from OPEMEC members to accept new members into the organization.

OOC:

I made a mistake. My Emperor should be Constantine not Melchior. Sorry.
