It varries.

RL stands for "real life" so real life time is, well, real life.

I can't speak for the rest of the region, but Nag Ehgoeg uses a non-linear Ret-con time line.

In English, I just make up how fast time goes. If nothing special is going on, then a year can pass in a RL week, or just a day. In active times, like a war or a treaty negotiation, a RL day could represent just a few hours - or even a few minuets.

Furthermore, the real world date is always the Nag Ehgoeg date.

It's hard to explain, but the timeline kinda runs backwards :P

Every new event (in Nag Ehgoeg) "pushes" past events further back in time.

According to the life spans of Catholic Europe's Popes, nations in the middle east are several hundred years old.

However using the actual time markers (such as public holiday's being celebrated) that I've posted for Nag Ehgoeg, only a year has past in the two and a bit years I've been in the middle east.

Generally speaking I don't worry about time lines all too much - it's much less important than you'd think.

Just trust us. It works.

One solution is to say "We'll meet up in ___ days ((OOC: tomorrow))"
Or to just assume things are going at the same time.

My time sort of works like Nag's: that's how I managed to cram five or six leaders of Saxe-Coburg into the time that NeoRome has only had one. If you don't think about it, it all makes sense. Trust us.

Filo, don't worry about it. You are Italian - if anyone is flexible about their time, it is the Italians!! Your trains never run on time!

He can be grown up if you want him to be, or he can still be a kid. Its your choice.

Yeah Julius Augustus did live a long time compared to many other leaders, but it really doesn't make that much different nor does it matter all the much.

I say we do like the river of time does, and just go with the flow :D :P

I used to have one RL day = one NS year, but I've changed it to two days = one NS year.

That explains why you've had so many popes at the head of your nation :D

Well, he had some early wars with Knights on horseback fighting along side tanks, so we've been pretty flexible with the RP'ing here!
