OOC: Okay then. IC: One night later Everything was in place. Cynthia Min stood at the window, ready to signal Dan Lee and the soldiers. Peter Wong, meanwhile, stood by the door, looking through the peephole for any sign of Quentin Fahr. Stephanie Chu gathered together all the supplies that they would need. Suddenly, Peter said, "It's time." Cynthia Min gave the signal. Immediately, soldiers rushed into the Presidential Palace. Sirens began to wail, and all the guards hurried over to the Central Control Room. The government officials broke down the door to their room, and went out. The soldiers gave them weapons, and they set out to scour the palace. Stephanie Chu went over to the throne room. She noticed that the gaping hole in the center of the room had not yet been fixed, and dropped a rope into the dungeon below. She, along with help from the others, hoisted Tom Grace and Evelyn Lim up to the surface. Meanwhile, Quentin Fahr met with his advisors. They decided that the best course of action was to institute Plan G. Quentin took out a briefcase and put a device inside. He and his guards evaded the soldiers who were scouring the place, and got into their car. After they got out of the garage, Quentin pressed the button. To be continued... |

OOC: Just so you know the EE stance, it only helped what it stated as being the legitament sovereign body of the Porto Santo. If anything the AA was to be seen as the enemy not the EE. But of course, with everyone knowing the history of EE and most countries distrusting the EE no matter who sits behind its wheel, it's generally seen as EE waging war on AA. However, if you'll take a close look at the entire thread on the matter, "War" was never declare, the EE was simply there to help the Porto Santo government secure their populace and their borders from outside invaders. So really no treaty was need, since we were only there to defend borders, not actually wage war and we were there under the banner of the Porto Santo government. SO it would be Porto Santo who would need a treaty with AA :P |

The others heard an explosion, and the room collapsed under their feet. They all fell into the dungeon, trapped by several feet of rubble. However, since there were no guards guarding the cell door, they were able to destroy the lock by firing several rounds of bullets at it. They then searched for the famed secret exit, used by many political prisoners during the South Negative Matterian dictatorship of 1964-1990. It had been preserved as a quasi-tourist attraction since 1990, but it seemed that Quentin Fahr sealed the exit, as although they all knew where the exit was located, there was a brick wall standing in front. Undeterred, Stephanie took out her hatchet and started chipping away at the wall. To their suprise, the wall crumbled easily, and they walked out into the Zongtong subway station on the Yellow Line of the BRT. Meanwhile, Quentin Fahr and his advisors sped out of Baotou, and into the surrounding suburbs, then into the countryside. He was not expecting a counter-coup by the original government, but he had a backup plan just in case. A few hours later, he arrived in the small city of Erenhot, in northwestern Zhongyang province. His allies within the city already prepared a bunker for him. From this point, he was at war. |

Scene: A bunker, Erenhot, Negative Matter Quentin Fahr paced around his bunker. Plan G was not going well for him; the Negative Matterian government seemed to have absolutely no interest in capturing him. He needed to think. One of his guards came in with a telephone. "It's for you," he said. Quentin picked up the phone. "Hey dude, how's it going?" It was Quentin Fahr's lifelong friend and fellow soldier, Phil Liu, calling from the eastern border of Negative Matter. "Not so good." "Your plan for world domination hasn't been working out, huh?" "Yes. I don't want to think about it right now." "Well, I've been having a blast. It seems like the Trilateral Commission just packed up and left. I heard they went to the Middle East. Well, anyway, now we don't have anyone to guard against, so we just party all day." "Sounds fun." Then a thought hit him. "Can't talk right now, just had a major breakthrough." He hung up, and called the guard over again. "Listen up, we're leaving." "Where to?" "A place. Just follow me." Taking a nondescript, beaten-down blue car, they set off to places unknown. Scene: Mukden Palace, Shenyang, China Quentin Fahr could not believe his luck. He was not stopped even once while fleeing Negative Matter, and crossed the border into China with ease. Now, having brokered a deal with regional leaders, he was the undisputed ruler of southern Manchuria, now known as the Republic of Positive Matter. Now there was only one thing left to do. He picked up the phone, and called Tom Grace. Tom: Hello? Quentin: Remember me? Tom: Oh, it's you. What do you want? Quentin: Just my country back. Tom: It was never yours to begin with. Anyway, I can't talk to you right now. I'm at the ball in Norightsia, and I'm really busy now. Bye. Surprised, Quentin then called Stephanie Chu. Maybe she would be more helpful. Stephanie: Hello? Quentin: Remember me? Stephanie: Oh, it's you. What do you want? Not liking the direction the conversation was heading, Quentin made sure to change the subject. Quentin: I have a proposition for you. Stephanie: I'm not interested. Quentin: Oh well. I have control over southern Manchuria right now. What do you say to having our two countries united? Stephanie: No. (hangs up) Quentin grimaced. Time to break out the troops. He summoned his top military advisors for a meeting. After a discussion, they decided to implement the Final Plan. But first, he needed allies. Private Telegram To: Shing Tishomi From: Quentin Fahr Hello. You may remember me as the former leader of Negative Matter. Well, I was illegally deposed, and now I need your help. I humbly request your assistance, politically and militarily, in reclaiming Negative Matter. In return, you will have a ally in me, and I can persuade the regional leaders to let you have a portion of Manchuria. I look forward to seeing your response. |

Grendel slowly made his way into Shing's office. Grendel had long out lived his life and now time was slowly killing him. As he made it to the desk he sat in the chair in front of the desk as he did when talking with Shing. The message was then brought to him and he read with growing interest. It wasn't much a secret that the Conn family had always wanted Manchuria since the taking of Korea, however they turned their attention else where once the Trilateral Commission took it. They always figured if they couldn't have it at least it was int he hands of an ally. Now however that was a different story for the Trilateral Commission had left and the land was now free. Shing will be greatly interested in this turn of events Grendel thought as he slowly wrote a response, with any luck we'll finally have what the Conn's have wanted for sometime. Once he was done he had an aid send the message back to its sender. Encrypted Message To:Quentin Fahr From: The Office of the Sovereign Though my master is away he will be greatly pleased to see that you've decided to trust the Eastern Empire with the future of your nation. Truly this is a good decision on your part for we have many allies and many resource of which we can make available to you. In Short we will give you and yours any and everything needed to ensure victory in your endeavor. We can have military assistance brought to you within days, you must simply give us the word. |
