Presidente Augusto Pinochet, of the National Republican Party, has announced earlier this morning that he will not seek re-election as president of The CNNP. Current Premeir Hugo Chavez is expected to run in the primary elections of the R.N.P., although he has not officially made any statement regarding the issue. While the R.N.P. seeks to find a candidate, the Social Democratic Party has wasted no time in preping a candidate to run in the primaries, Carlos Saúl Menem, has announced his run for the primary elections for the Social Democrats. Finally, you have the Populist Party, which has Luis González Macchi running for the primary nomination.

Governor Luis González Macchi
Populist Party

The political platform for the Populist Party has been decided. They are running on tax cuts, full legalization of capitalism, less aggressive foreign policy-better relations with CENTO, aggressive repayment of the national debt, more political freedoms, and more economic growth.

Senator Carlos Saúl Menem
Social Democratic Party

They have adopted a platform for stronger healthcare, joining CENTO, defense spending cuts, maintaining the current economic system and tax rates, gradual repayment plan for the national debt, stronger welfare programs, more wealth distribution, less censureship of the press/increase in civil liberties, and the nationalization of the Uranium and Automobile industry.

Premeir Hugo Chavez
National Republican Party

Wants more nationalization of the national healthcare system, stronger military, aggressive debt payments, nationalization of the petroleum industry, tax cuts, currency reforms-stronger currency, counter-balance to CENTO, abolition of freedom of religion-Catholics only, faster expansion into northern Mozambique, and a nuclear weapons program.

Presidente Augusto Pinochet lashed out at Premeir Hugo Chavez over his recent comment of both the Syawlan and CNNP governments cooperating in an effort to "undermine" the authority of CENTO. In a press conference earlier this morning, Presidente Augusto Pinochet ordered the resignation of Hugo Chavez from the post of Premeir. Hugo Chavez did step down and issued a formal apology to the people of Sywala, the CNNP, their respective governing bodies, and the director of CENTO. However, this incident has only fueled the N.R.P's desire to keep Hugo Chavez as their candidate, and he has announced to adopt a more ultra-conservative (fascist) platform. Silvio Berlusconi, Vice-Presidente, has been appointed to fill the vacated post as Provost Premeir.

The Government of Norightsia(/New Medea) is 100% behind Premier Chavez. He has demonstrated the virtues and integrity that Africa needs in this time of struggle. Premier Chavez has the needs of Africa, the CNNP, and God in his heart. We urge the faithful(Catholics) in the CNNP to vote for Mr. Chavez.
