Loknaf Madhav had left Armenon almost a year ago. One year he did not have anything to show for. Sure, he’d found met hundreds of other Armenonis who had fled when the Sarawakhans took over. Sure, he had procured weapons through the local black market. Sure, he had planned and plotted, but they did not yet walk through the streets of Dhaka made slick with the blood of the oppressors.

He pulled back the cocking lever of the AK-47 and inspected the empty chamber. He let it slide back into place with a satisfying click and handed it to one of the six patriots in the small room. As he continued checking the assault rifles one by one he began again to speak.

“Friends, Brothers, we will not submit ourselves to white skinned outcastes. We will fight for our freedom until out last breaths; the last drops of blood leave our bodies. The generation that follow us will live free in their homeland. We shall die before we submit to our oppressors. For Armenon!”

With that he held the last rifle above his head and cheered and the other men cheered with him. They began to make for the back room and their mattresses.

“Sleep well my brothers for tomorrow we face our destinies.”

What are you rambling on about? Outcaste is a word and it was used correctly.

Main Entry: out·caste
Pronunciation: -"kast
Function: noun
1 : a Hindu who has been ejected from his caste for violation of its customs or rules
2 : one who has no caste

The Sarawakhans exist outside of the caste system and therefore are outcastes.

The freedom fighters approached the border checkpoint in their ancient sedan. Loknaf rolled down the window and brought the car to a stop near the guardhouse. The Sarawakhan Customs officer peered suspiciously into the beaten old car.

"How long will you chaps be staying in Armenon?"

"We are on a brief business trip. If all goes as planned we will only be in the country for four days."

"Jolly good, you boys aren't carrying any fruits and vegetables are you?"

"Nope."

Just then one of the few dogs that had been patrolling perimeters of the few cars at the checkpoint approached the rear bumper. It began to bark wildly and repeatedly bump the trunk lid with its nose. The officer handling the dog quieted it and approached the driver side window.

"I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to open the trunk for me, sir." Loknaf Madhav saw no other option but to step out of the car and unlock the trunk. The first thing that caught the officer's eye was a half eaten jelly donut in the back windshield. Then, he began to tap around on the inside of the trunk looking for any compartment that might be hidden there. The floor returned a hollow sound. The officer tried the back wall. It too returned a hollow sound. Then he stood up again.

"I'm going to have to ask you all to step out of the car."

One by one the revolutionaries piled out of the small sedan and stood against the guardhouse wall. The officer preceded to tap on the floor in front of the back seat. That too returned a hollow sound. He tapped on the dashboard with the same result. In the end, it was the car's lack of quality that protected its cargo of automatic weapons that had been stashed under the floor of the trunk.

"Damn foreign cars. They sure don't bloody make them like they do in Sarawakh," the revolutionaries distinctly heard the portly dog handler mutter under his breath. He waved them back into the car.

"Sorry for the trouble, chaps. The dog must have smelled that donut there in you back window. Enjoy your stay."

Loknaf turned the key and the car's tiny engine sputtered to life, coughing a huge puff of smoke as it did and the freedom fighters rolled down the gentle slope in to Armenon.

With the plague all but eradicated, Sarawakh once again began to make its presence known in Armenon. A new Raja had been crowned, and with him came a new policy. Soldiers all over the country began to tack up signs with a message for the people from the new Raja:

"To the Citizens of Armenon:

As your new Raja, I am implementing a new policy towards Armenon. I believe that, since you are a protectorate of Sarawakh, you should have a say in Sarawakh's affairs. That is why I have decided to grant you an observer in the Parliament of Sarawakh in Kuching. In the near future, I will set up an assembly in Dhaka. This assembly will function much like an assembly within one of the provinces of Sarawakh. Everyone over the age of eighteen may vote for their observer in Parliament, and Armenon shall be divided into 12 districts, each being allowed two representatives in the assembly. I have also decided to hold a referendum in Armenon. The people of Armenon will be allowed to decide whether to remain a protectorate, or to become a full province of Sarawakh. I hope that my reign can be a prosperous one for the people of Armenon.

Signed,
His Most Potent Highness,
James Brooke II,
Raja of Sarawakh

Kasnyia will be allowed free trade within Armenon with no tariffs charged on Kanyian goods coming into the country. Also, all government construction contracts for three years will go to Kasnyian companies.

OOC:
Sorry, completely forgot about this thread.

IC:
At dusk the beaten sedan pulled into the dirt parking lot of a deserted inn seventy miles from Dhaka. One by one the six large men broke free of the confines of the car. The cooling air felt like heaven. The car was cramped and the air was hot and thick. Only the driver-side window opened and so the ventilation was terrible. A few stripped their sopping wet shirts from their bodies and rung them over the dirt at their feet. Loknaf unwound his rather large frame from the car and walked stiffly over to the trunk.

"We will be there in another hour. Come get your weapons." He opened it and fumbled for the lid of the compartment hidden beneath the floor of the trunk. His fingers slid through a well concealed slit in the floor and the compartment's hinges gave a slight squeak as it was opened. He reached into the compartment and began tossing the Russian made AK-47 assault rifles through the air. Each one fell with a light clatter into the outstretched arms of one of the Armenoni patriots. Each man quickly inspected his rifle as he had been taught and looked back to Loknaf. From the trunk he pulled three ordinary cardboard boxes. He set each carefully at his feet.

"Here is your ammo. We should have enough to show the Sarawakhans that the people of Armenon will not be mollified by their false concessions of democracy and equality. These vile invaders have taken our homeland and seek to turn it into another Sarawakh. We will show them the cost of their actions." There was a low murmur from the revolutionaries as Loknaf took four magazines and and clambered back into the drivers seat. The other men followed suit. The boxes were set on the three men in the back seats of the car. The rifles layed across their laps as to be as inconspicuous as it is possible for an assault rifle to be and the sedan was accelerating again towards Dhaka.

The small, cramped sedan made a turn at high speed and the passengers felt the outside wheels lose contact with the ground. The sedan returned to its preferred position with a momentary shower of sparks as the car's underbelly scraped along the road. They were now on a quiet road in one of Dhaka's richest suburbs. The houses here were mostly populated by Sarwakhan businessmen and government officials. The car pulled up the curb and began to disgorge its passengers. One by one they stepped out and put on their black ski masks. They looked over their rifles one last time and looked to Loknaf. Loknaf nodded and began to make his way towards the front door of the first house. One other man followed him and the rest of the group broke up to teams of two and picked a different house.

Loknaf approached the house's ornate front door. They rang the doorbell and pounded on the door. It was a full minute before they could see some shape moving behind the frosted glass. They leveled their weapons. The sleepy man looked uncomprehendingly at the two gunmen for a second before trying desperately to close the door. Loknaf wasn't about to let him. He planted a kick squarely in the center of the door which flew back hitting the man in the face and knocking him backwards down the hallway. He lay on his back bleeding from his nose as Loknaf approached him. He was dispatched with a single shot to the head from Loknaf's AK-47. "Upstairs. Search the place. Kill anyone that you find."

The other man took the stair two at a time until he reached the upstairs landing. He began hastily opening door after door. He found the man's wife who had apparently decided to investigate the cause of the ruckus in the entrance hallway. He dropped he with one shot to the chest. As she fell he saw her begin reaching for the drawer of the nightstand beside the bed. He closed the distance between them in two great bounds and placed a bullet directly between her eyes. He looked in the drawer she'd been reaching for and found a .45 cal pistol. He put it in his waistband and headed back downstairs. As he reached the bottom he heard the crying of a child. It's just a baby, he thought, I'll just leave it for the cops to find.

"Akhmed, what are you doing? I said to clear the upstairs. It does not sound clear to me," the voice from behind him said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't think...." he began to reply only to be cut off.

"My dear Akhmed you are not here to think. You are here to kill, to exact divine vengeance upon those who usurped our homeland. Now go finish the job." With that Akhmed turned and climbed the stairs. He entered the final room and looked at the infant in its crib. Then he turned away and walked back to the door. He turned around and aimed at the crib and its unseen infant. He closed his eyes and squeezed the trigger letting off a four round burst into the crib. Surely it couldn't survive that. The crying had stopped and Akhmed couldn't bear to check to see if he had finished the job. The sight of the infant bloodied by his hand would be too much for him. He walked back down the stairs of the now silent house and out the front door onto the front porch where Loknaf was waiting.

Without a word Akhmed followed Loknaf to the door of the next house. Loknaf kicked the door open; the deadbolt splintering the wood of the doorframe and they again entered guns leveled.

The gunmen moved from house to house down the block. One would provide containment from the porch while the other cleared the house. The situation quickly devolved into chaos as the gunfire caused people to panic and flee from their homes. They were gunned down as they ran out into the street by the three machine gun wielding men until the streets ran red with the blood of Sarawakhans. Seven minutes had passed since the gunmen had entered the first houses when they heard the first siren. The wailing grew louder as the patrol car approached. It accelerated around the corner and was struck by an immense volley from the three gunmen.

The 7.62 rounds perforated the patrol car's windshield and ripped up the passenger seat. Bullets whipped past the policeman's ears and he swerved, turning the car 90 degrees so that it sat perpendicular to the direction of the street. He opened the driver side door and dived out of the car and into the street where he was partially protected by the bulk of the car. He scrambled to the side of the car and pressed against it, inching towards its open door. He laid his body flat on the seat and snatched the radio from the dashboard. Another volley ripped through the car and he flinched and took cover again behind his patrol car.

The policeman went down in a hail of bullets, but not before calling for backup. Soon five Armenoni Protectorate Police cars screeched around the corner. The policemen, all white Sarawakhans, took out their guns and began to blaze away at the terrorists.

"Aim for the legs," yelled one of the Policmen "we want to take them in alive."

Two of the terrorists went down, and were shoved into the backs of the cars.

"Is that all?" asked a young officer.

"There was at least one more. Damn! He's gotten away!"

The police called for some ambulances, and began to search the houses for any survivors.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OFFICIAL STATEMENT BY HIS MOST POTENT HIGHNESS, RAJA JAMES II:
I am appalled by what has happened just outside of Dhaka today. Innocent men, women, and children were killed callously by evil, cowardly terrorists. These defenceless people were murdered in their own homes, in cold blood. This atrocity shall not go unpunished! I am sending more Sarawakhan troops into Armenon to protect the citizens there from these heinous acts of evil. We must bring peace to Armenon.
OOC: Al Araam, I wonder if the terrorists would attack nations who have helped Sarawakh in the past, such as Norightsia and Kasnyia. Kasnyia would be an especially tempting target because it helped Sarawakh during the revolution. What do you think?
OOC:
I'm sure they would. If Kasnyia and Norightsia agree I will RP a couple more terrorist attacks. And there were six terrorists total. Three were covering the outside and killed the cop and three were inside clearing houses. Maybe the Armenoni Protectorate Police need more training :P. I'll run with it though.
IC:
Loknaf put pressure on his bleeding left shoulder as he sprinted out the back door. He had just finished clearing the master bedroom when a hail of bullet shattered the window he had been standing next to. One impacted his shoulder and he could feel that it was still embbedded in his flesh despite the terrible pain. Behind the row of houses he saw his other three men. "They got two, boys, time to go. We have struck a terrible blow to Sarawakh, a blow that will not soon be forgotten."
They turned and ran a little ways further, away from the police. They found a large dumpster and buried their rifles, ski masks and extra ammunition under a few bags of garbage. The bleeding had slowed and Loknaf discarded his bloody coat. He borrowed one off of one of the men to cover the bloody sleeve of his shirt.
The trip home took nearly a week. The men hitchhiked or walked the hundreds of miles back to their homes. The Sarawakhans didn't have a decent description and so they made it back out of Armenon free and intact.
-==Armenoni Liberation Front Official Statement==-
The ALF was responsible for the attack in Dhaka a week ago. We have slain a handful of the oppressors of Armenon. These people profit from the suffering of our people. They see us as nothing but slaves to Sarawakh, subhuman because our skin is not as pale. We will continue to fight until our country is free from its Sarawakhan oppressors. We will respect no national borders in our fight for sovereignty. Sarawakhans in Armenon are not the only ones that should fear us. We will strike at the Kasnyians who helped the Sarawakhans enslave our people. And we will strike at the Norightsians who stood by and watched their allies rob us of our sovereignty. From this moment forth, the lives of all of those who seek to do the people Armenon ill have been threatened.
OOC:
The statement was mailed to all of the major Asian TV networks and many of Armenon's local networks. Do with it what you will.
OOC: Norightsia has a presence in both Kasnyia and Armenon. They support Sarawakh unwaveringly. Therefore I think the terrorists would definately want to kill Norightsians too. But there's no need to risk crossing into the country. There are plenty of Norightsian business men and EIC troopers in Armenon. Might as well stay close to home...
IC:
==OFFICIAL IMPERIAL PRESS RELEASE==
I am shocked and appaled by the callous and inhumane nature with which these terrorists have murdered innocent. Sarawakhans. The Raja is a personal friend of mine, and I believe he knows what is best for Armernon, not some gun-toteing extremists. Therefore, I am stepping up Norightsian presence in Armenon. 200 more EIC troopers have already been dispatched. At the Raja's behest, 5,000 soldiers of the LIV Legion will dispatch to Dhaka. No quarter is to be given to these butchers! Norightsia is not afraid!
OOC: There. Now they definately have incentive to kill my soldiers.
Meanwhile back in the Eastern Empire....
Look at this Shing said Grendle as he fumbled through the daily newspaper.
So the Armenonian people are looking to regain their nation from Sarawakh. Well, if you ask my Grendle, the Eastern Empire has left this situation allow for far too long, we should help the poor Armenonian people out.
Is that so wise Shing? We were looking to make some very profitable trade agreements with Sarawakh using oZ. However, we do have a nice force in NeoDacia which would help them out...
Come now Grendle, we're not going to actually going to make a public statement to help them. As for our forces in NeoDacia, they will stay there. I doubt the Armenonian people want more foreign soldiers in their country. A few under the table letters to the poor people promising arms and such should help out greatly...of course we will deliver what we promise.
Of course Sovereign
Shing the quickly wrote a letter and then instructed Grendle to send it to Armenon on an encrypted line, hoping the Armenonians would pick it up and decode it.
Encrypted Transmission
To: Fighters for Armenon Freedom
From: A close friend
People of Armenon I have heard your cries for help against the aggressors who have oppressed you and I am fully capable of helping. I can offer many "supplies" which could help you in your process of purging the evil which infects your nations. I know what it is like to have foreign powers dictate you and I will stand behind your nation once you and your government regain control. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hello, I'm Quentin Fink-Nottle, and this is the six o'clock news. In our top story tonight, Raja James announced today that he will continue his effort to hold elections in Armenon. The President said this in a press conference earlier today:
(Cut to James II at a press conference)
"I will not allow the ALF to stop the Armenoni people from voting. I have promised them that they will have an observer in Parliament, and I shall ensure that they are allowed to elect him. I will not tolerate a terrorist group take away the rights of the Armenoni people."
(Cut back to the newsroom)
The Raja also announced that more troops will be sent to Armenon as security during the elections.
In other news, fifteen of shoppers at Kuala Lumpur's Mall of the Ten Thousand Delights were trampled when an elephant became enraged and began to stampede...
