WNN: Wadji News Network We interrupt this broadcast to bring you this breaking news. Two car bombs went off today in the market district of Sindh. Hundreds of shoppers were injured, and at least twelve are dead. The blasts happened at 6:34 PM, one at the corner of Farouq Street and Suleiman Avenue, and the other at 7 East Al Sadat Street. The blasts were approximatly one block apart. Unfortunately, the explosions occured during the peak shopping hour in the market district. The streets were filled with thousands of shoppers making their purchases as they went home from work. The Sindh Chief of Police, Amir bin Adin, said that he believes that the blasts were the work of cultists loyal to Abdul. [Cut to bin Adin at a Podium] "I am confident that the terrible crime that was committed within Sindh this evening is the work of those loyal to Abdul. Though Scythiran and pro-Abdul forces were driven from Wadj long ago, those who remain loyal to him still remain. Though he only converted a small number of people to his cult, they were very loyal. It is only logical to assume that they still strive to serve him." [Cut back to the newsroom] If people still loyal to Abdul survive within Wadj, and they are organized enough to carry out terrorist attacks within Sindh, our security forces have a long and arduous task ahead of them. I'm just recieving news that Sultan Ibrahim is making a statement from an unidentified secure location. We bring you now live to the Sultan. [Cut of Sultan Ibrahim in front of a white curtain] "Today a terrible thing has happened. Innocent citizens of Wadj have been killed by sick and twisted people. The death count is now well into the thirties. Much of the Market District is destroyed. Central Sindh is experiencing a power outage due to the explosions. I have been briefed on the situation, and I will now tell you what I have learned. The Sindh Police Department has confirmed that the attacks were suicide attacks. They have also confirmed that the attackers were followers of Abdul. A small amulet was found within the wreckage of one of the cars used in the attack. It matches the known symbolism of Abdul's cult. The Market District has been closed off. No cars may enter it, and none may leave. The Wadji Governmental Police have secured the area. The Senate Building has been secured by the WGP, as has the Palace. All roads leading into Sindh are now guarded by checkpoint. This is not a permanent meacure, but it will continue until I am sure that it is no longer needed. The WGP has created a task force with the full intention of finding those responsible for the attack and bringing them to justice. I will make another statement when more news is available. [Cut back to the newsroom] If you are just tuning in, Sindh has just been hit by two carbombs... |

From his station within the Scythirian port city of Abu-Dahbi, Prince Hirak-Al Voramix, ally to Wadj spoke on the terrorism within Sindh. "This act of terrorism is appalling! With our forces steadily encroaching upon dethroning the vile Jorzo Mafil and his puppet Abdul, it is no doubt these attacks were caused by the very villains we mean to terminate. Jorzo Mafil and Abdul are monsters. They gassed Scythirian citizens within Jihamed itself with chemical and biological warfare, now they seek to divide our attention back to Sindh by killing innocents. The vile usurper Mafil shall not manipulate this war from my throne any longer. "Soon, my friends, we will march into Jihamed!" |

-Sistani National News- "...And in other news, Sindh was rocked by a pair of carbombs today. The Wadji authorities are pinning the blame on pro-Abdul forces. All roads leading into the cit-- Hold on, we've just recieved a video from known Sistani expansionist Rasheed Bagheri. The video you are about to see is edited in no way..."
"That is correct, Rasheed Bagheri has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Sindh. We will have more on this breaking story as more information becomes available..." |

**ENCRYPTED PRIVATE TELEGRAM** To: Prince Mansur, Sovereign of Sistan From: Mohommed Abdel, Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Desert Aristocracy of Al Araam "With the recent signing of the White Palace Accord, this attack on Wadj cannot be overlooked by Al Araam. It appears that Al Araam and Sistan will both be joining the Second War of Succession. If Sistan does not cease and desist these attacks against our ally we will have no choice but to take direct military action against Sistan. If the government of Sistan is not responsible we demand that Rasheed Bagheri be turned over to Araamenian authorities until the Second War of Succession comes to a close at which time Mr, Bagheri will be transfered into Wadji custody." |

"Our government is in no way responsible for the attack. However we have neither the time nor the resources to devote to looking for Rasheed Bagheri, as we are currently busy combatting rebels in the west. If Al Araam is willing to help us with the rebels by supplying us with arms and equipment, and lending troops, it may be possible to send men to find Bagheri." --Yashar Hajiev, Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs The Principality of Sistan |

**ENCRYPTED PRIVATE TELEGRAM** To: Yashar Hajiev From: Mohommed Abdel I am afraid that we cannot at this time supply Sistan with arms or military equipment. However, if no Sistani resources can be spared Al Araam would be willing to deploy a Special Forces detachment to Sistan to find Rasheed Bagheri and bring him to justice. Surely you do not wish to have one who would plot to take the lives of innocents and, if these actions continue, pull Sistan into a war in which they have no stake. Let us rid you of Bagheri and let the tensions between our nations be something to be looked back upon and laughed at. I trust you will do the right thing. |

"I am afraid that in the interest of national security, I cannot allow Al Araam's special forces to operate within Sistani territory. It would be counter-productive to have to worry about foreign troops inside our borders when we already have to worry about the western rebels. Bagheri is not a threat to Sistan, but the rebels in the west are. I hope that you can see our position." --Yashar Hajiev, Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs The Principality of Sistan |

**ENCRYPTED PRIVATE TELEGRAM** To: Yashar Hajiev From: Mohommed Abdel That my friend is where you are wrong. What nation having the choice would choose a war on two fronts? I am telling you it is in the interest of your national security to deliver us Bagheri. If you don't deliver Bagheri to us I am telling you that you will have no nation to protect. If we have not recieved this known terrorist, that your government is not only ignoring but protecting, in one week(OOC: 36 RL hours from now) we will be forced to take action. If you are aiding and abetting terrorists that have claimed responsibility for an attack on our longtime ally, Wadj, you may find you soon lack a nation to rule. |

The Resplendent Dawn condemns the horrible attacks on the Wadji capital of Sindh. We are saddened by this event, and will, of course, stand by our ally, Wadj, in their time of need. Furthermore, the Resplendent Dawn will cooperate fully with our allies, to make sure that whoever is responsible for this atrocity is brought to justice. |

OOC: I am going to assume that the Sistani rebels have latched on to a terrorist attack perpetrated by pro-Crown Prince Abdul forces and claimed it as their own attack to further their own agenda. IC: WNN: Wadji National News This is WNN, and I'm Abu bin Sharif. We have major new developments in our ongoing coverage of the car bombing attacks in Sindh. We go now to the corner of Mameluk Street and Melchior Boulevard, about a block away from the attack at 7 East Al Sadat Street, where Avraham ben Binyamin is interviewing someone who survived the attack. Avraham? [Cut to a large street corner filled with people wandering aimlessly and policemen] "Hello Abu. Its been a long day here in the market district. People are trying to find relatives. Many have found them in the Habib Department Store, turned temporarily into a morgue. I have with me Yasmine Hekkaz, a survivor of the explosion at the corner of Farouq Street and Suleiman Avenue. What was it like?" "It was..." she begins to sob uncontrollably, "horrible! I was going out for a walk with my husband, when suddenly there was a huge noise. We were thrown back. He was bloody, and he couldn't talk, but he was still alive. They took him to the medics, but because I was injured I had to stay where I was. I've been looking for him all day! I can't find him!" She breaks down and sobs even more violently. "Yasmin Hekkaz, just one of the victims of these horrible attacks. Back to you Abu." [Cut back to the newsroom] Thank you Avraham. In other news on the situation, a terrorist group based in Sistan has claimed responsibility for the attacks on Wadj. In a video released to Sistani TV, the terrorist and rebel Rasheed Bagheri has claimed responsibility for the attacks on Wadj. Wadji officials, however are skeptical. Sultan Ibrahim released this statement: [Cut to Ibrahim at a podium in front of a white curtain] "I am confident that Rasheed Bagheri was not responsible for the attacks on Wadj. All evidence we have found within the site of the attack points to an attack made by followers of Abdul. I believe that the Sistani terrorists are attempting to use this attack to make their organization seem more powerful than it is." [Cut back to the newsroom] Many other government officials also did not believe the Sistani Rebels. Minister of Diplomacy Ahmed Harshisha made this... I'm receiving breaking news... We have just recieved a video footage from a terrorist group loyal to Abdul claiming to be responsible for the attack... we'll broadcast it momentarily... [Cut to a man dressed in a hooded black robe. His face is hidden.] "I follow the true Sultan of Wadj--Abdul! He is wise. His religion is the true religion. We have perpetrated these attacks to please God. He will revel in the blood that has been spilled. More attacks will be carried out. Soon all of Wadj shall run with blood shed for His glory! Fools and misbelievers beware: We shall not cease." [Cut back to the newsroom. Abu is appalled.] If you are just tuning in, a sect loyal to Abdul has just released a video claiming responsibility for the attacks in Sindh... -~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~- **ENCRYPTED TELEGRAM** FROM: High Priest Fellal Daoudi TO: Rasheed Bagheri I see that our interests may coincide. Perhaps our groups should work together. Once Abdul is back on the throne of Wadj, I am sure that an agreement could be made regarding your province. Let us work together to bring death and blood to the Wadji people. |

**ENCRYPTED PRIVATE TELEGRAM** To: Yashar Hajiev From: Mohommed Abdel It appears that no progress has been made in the time we have alotted. We cannot tolerate a nation who aids terrorist that have attacked and claimed responsibility for an attack on our ally. The armed forces are being mobilized as we speak. If we do not have confirmation that Sistan has captured Bagheri and is ready to transfer him into Araamenian custody in by noon tommorrow (OOC: 4 RL hours) Al Araam will be force to embark on a course military action against your nation. Tell your prince to think wisely, my friend. |

"Citizens of the Middle East, today I come to you with horrifying news. The fledgling nation of Sistan is harboring atleast one, likely many, know terrorists. Sistani expansionist Rasheed Bagheri organized a dual carbomb attack in Sindh, the capital of our ally Wadj. In the week and some days since the attack we have been in communication with the government of Sistan. They have proved utterly uncooperative and are letting a known murderer and terrorist roam free in their country. It is apparent the danger a man like Bagheri poses to civilians not only in Wadj but across the region, and possibly across the world. He has proved that he is willing to kill innocents to attempt to satisfy an imperialistic need of his country. We cannot let a man such as this go free. We cannot let a government such as this protect killers. The forces of Al Araam and the Resplendent Dawn are being prepared for an invasion of Sistan to rid the country of their corrupt government and capture Bagheri. God willing, Iranshahr will be beneath the boots of our soldiers in a month." --Mohommed Abdel |

The Holy Empire of the Resplendent Dawn stands behind its allies Wadj and Al Araam in all matters. As we recently formalized long standing ties with these nations, the Empire will support them in any way deemed necessary during the impending military action, by order of the Emperor Constantine. -Yuhannon Ibrahim, Foreign Minister |

-Channel 5 News, Iranshahr- "...And here is Asian reporter Tricia Takanawa with news on the aftermath of the attacks on Sindh." "Thank you, Diane. I'm standing outside Iranshahr Palace because they don't allow Asians inside. Meanwhile, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yashar Hajiev has stated in a press conference today that armed forces from neighboring Scythirus have entered Sistan to search for alleged terrorist Rasheed Bagheri. We also have word that Prince Mansur has invited diplomats from Al Araam and the Resplendent Dawn to the palace so that they can receive lessons on how to properly fornicate themselves. Back to you, Diane..." "Thank you, Tricia. Now lets go to Greg The Weather Mime..." |
