---Resplendent News Network--- ...In other news today, the Imperial government in Antioch has officially announced the nonclassified phase of the project codenamed Wisdom. Wisdom apparently is a massive overhaul of the Imperial Military, designed to improve both the size and effectiveness of the armed forces of the Resplendent Dawn. The military plans to improve enlistment figures and to phase in improved technology over the next ten years. Furthermore, the command structure is going to be restructured for more efficient deployment, and it is rumored that military advisors from other nations are going to be invited in for advice. As more information is released, we will update you, thought it seems unlikely that too much more will be released to the public, until the Project has been implemented. OOC: I'm going to start working on a well-devoloped military structure for the Resplendent Dawn, and the project is aimed at turning the nation into a more military one. Don't expect full-blown militarism, but rather a better balance then is currently being struck. Their is an open invitation for any nation to send a military advisor, if they think that, in character, that would be a likely occurance. |

OOC: Well NeoRome would love to send one.Of course they will use the Colony of Sardinia and Corsica to make contact and continue talks with Resplendent Dawn, though the NeoCaesar himself will eventually wish to meet with the ruling government of RD personally. IC: NeoRome would be more than happy to send a military advisor or two to the nation of Resplendent Dawn. I must confess that since our birth, we have not effectively used ourselves in gaining better diplomatic relations between NeoRome and the great nations of the Middle East. It is my hope that I can fulfill the NeoCaesar's wish, and better our relations. I can only hope that this can be the first step in this process. I have already spoken with Imperial Representative, Alexius Comnenus and she tells me that his excellency has given me full permission to give this offer. So it would be NeoRome's pleasure to help Resplendent Dawn in this matter. -Grand Governor Philippicus Bardanes of Sardinia and Corsica |

Ah, of course. In all likelihood, thats how it'll end up anyway. The Sindh Conference certainly makes some sort of assurance likely. Perhaps we should bring this up there. |

"Al Araam would be more than willing to help our great ally to the east. Military advisors can be sent in whatever quantity you deem fit and could arrive in the Resplendent Dawn in three days or less. Just tell us when, where and how many and it shall be done." --Khaliq Hashim, Yaqub Mukhtar and Iqbal Amin The Ruling Triumvirate of Al Araam |

Thank you friend! The Resplendent Dawn looks forward to working with you on this project. For the current stage of development, three or four advisors, when you can spare them, will be sufficient. If we need further help, we will ask. Thank you, once again. Yuhannon Ibrahim, Foreign Minister to the Emperor of the Resplendent Dawn |

Catholic Europe is concerned about this sudden militarization of the Resplendant Dawn. I can only guess at their secret intentions and see this move as being hostile to salvaging relations between our two countries. Pope Cristiano VII Great great-grandson of Emperor Emmanuel |

After seeing our country threatened and nearly destroyed, is it not natural that we would seek to learn how to protect ourselves? We do not seek to worsen tensions that have arisen between our nations, but we must be able to protect ourselves if we must. Emperor Melchior, successor to the deposed emperor Emmanuel |

OOC: Lol, I love the little thing you put after Emperor Melchior. It's as if the two are trying to assert their authority over each other. |

Nag Ehgoeg has been slowly militarising. We believe we have come up with an intresting tactical simulation command program that may be of use to you. OOC: Gonna make a "war" (forum) game (no pun intended) if people are intrested. Something with all the complexity of Chess, and all the tactical options of papper, scissors, rock. |
