Well, its summer, and since we are all going off on vacation, I thought I would make a topic for people to post when they will be away. I'll be the first. On Saturday, I am flying to Virginia to visit the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. I'll get back on Tuesday. So, I won't be here on the weekend. Then, when I get back, I'm leaving again next Wednesday to drive up to to St. Olaf College in Minnesota, and visiting University of Wisconsin at LaCrosse, and University of Wisconsin at Madison. So, I won't be here very often in the next couple weeks. Just thought I would let you know. |

Well that makes three of us. Speaking of Absences anyway, Al Araam hasn't been around lately. He is the map maker for the Middle East is he not? I finally decided to make a nation for it and talk to him about it when he was still around and I had hoped he would have gotten to it, but then he kinda disappeared and still no nation of the map. Oh well I just have to wait for his return :( |

Paradise is unofficially on vacation since June 22nd. I'm currently in my hometown (Rimouski) but I try to visit the board and Nationstates daily on an old Pentium 266 :o The computer is SO slow, it's even difficult to play Alpha Centauri or Heroes III :( |

Yeah, I gotta say I used to have quite a lot of fun in camps, well depends also what type of camps you're talking about, but being with friends and people you like is great to have a good time, even with snakes or ants or other unpleasant stuff :lol: |

No 40 miles down a river in a boat and camping with the bugs(I don't mind really but the whole swarm carring you off sucks, and it does happen, well almost) weird councilors, no bed wetters I hope! |

I would suppose they are all alike. I personally was never sent to one as a child. I hear, however they are mostly all the same. I most of them are just regular camps where kids go and have fun with all kinds of other kids. But there are specific camps, like church organized camps, or camps for the arts. It's actually interesting, at least where I live, on the sort of summer activities one can get one's self involved in when it comes to camps. |
