From King Dennis II Recently, while inspecting a South African ship trying to sneek through the straits of Gibralter we discovered many large containers holding wine. The disturbing aspect is these wines were marked Bordeaux, and Rheinhessen, and Mosel, tuscan, rioja, burgandy, etc. They were cheap imitations, obviously an attempt to flood our European Markets with poor quality, under-priced wine. As a result I am inviting the wine producting nations of the region to send a representative to Toledo for our first Wine Council. We should discuss certification of wine districts, market protecting, and the formation of a Wine Exchange. Invited to attend are: Morracon Nuraghic Republic Resplendant France Krakoviak Cologne Rosenwald Neo-austria Catholic Europe Bohemia Other countries are invited to send observers. I would like to convene this meeting early next week. Thank you, |

The finest Wine experts in all of Kiel have fled their now burning mansions (apparantly the communist rebels don't hold to well with the extravagence of fine wines) and are on their way to Xeres and Catalonia to attend this council. They wonder if they would be recognized as full Wine Council members. If this is not possible, they would be willing to attend only as observers. They have recieved recognition from Prince Johann as official Saxe-Coburgian representatives. OOC: Cologne is now a protectorate of Poland. They have been since the Colognian government collapsed. |

An invitation has now been extended to Poland, to represent the Rhine, Nahr, Mosel and Saar districts of the Rhine Valley. Is Wadj a wine producer?? |

Catholic Europe is an expert at producing wine. Wine is essential for Mass and only the best wine can be used for Papal Masses. If it weas to be sold commercially, which it will not be, it would cost around $50,000 a bottle. This wine is exclusive. However, Catholics may try it for free at any Papal Mass. |

Then you should be very concerned that your wines are being counterfieted, and sold throughout Europe. Please attend the council. |

Wadj isn't (Its in Persia) but Saxe-Coburg is. They are in Germany, and there are certainly German wines on the market. Kiel isn't, but there is a thriving wine-trade in that city. |

But they can't be counterfeited because they have not been blessed by the Pope. |

OK, fine. Your loss. The remainder of wine producers will fight this counterfiting. I would think your wine business in Italy wound be concerned, though. |

I think that's why it's "counterfeited." After all, you don't think counterfeited money is actually signed and approved by national treasuries? Of course not, because it's counterfeit. Claiming to be something it's not. |

The Resplendent French government will send a representative to this important conference. We hope to work with other regions for the benefit of all. OOC You may have noticed I haven't been active lately. So if I don't add much to this conference, don't be surprised. |
