CEN news Update "The Church today announced its plan for Pope Gregory XVII to tour the Middle East. Cardinal Jacob, minister for foreign affairs gave this announcement regarding the trip: 'Pope Gregory XVII will be going on a tour to different states in the Middle East. It is hoped that this trip will further solidify Catholic European relations with other countries within the Middle East. It is also hoped that differences between us and certain states will be reconciled in a show of Middle Eastern solidarity. His Holiness will also be visiting Catholics who live throughout the Middle East. The trip is likely to start in a couple of days.' This is the first time that any Pope has gone on a region-wide trip, and, being so early on in His Holiness' reign, it is thought that Pope gregory XVII was anxious to do such a trip." More updates to follow NB: WOULD NATIONS WHO WISH THE POPE TO VISIT THEIR COUNTRY PLEASE TG ME OR PM ME A.S.A.P All states must be 'booked' by the 4th. |
