Delfino Plaza/Airstrip Delfino Plaza is the central hub of Isle Delfino. It is where Big Daddy and Caps reside, as well as the location of many stationed troops. It is the prime location for our factories, namely the Sunshine Complex. The Shine Gate is also here, and plays an important role in the Legendary Lost Shine Sprites, and in Shine Sprites in general. We have added an Underwater Shelter, which is a safety area, an underwater recruitment center, and a Submarine Pad. The sewer system of the Plaza can be used to secretly move my troops about the Plaza, and also to confuse enemies who attempt to use it. It has a radar, capable of seeing anything around Isle Delfino in its entirety. In addition, it is well protected by Bullet Bill Cannons that will fire at distant and nearby foes. Delfino Airstrip is also included in Delfino Plaza, so it essentially is a two-part base. But, troops spend merely 2 minutes or so getting from the Airstrip to the Plaza, and vice versa. Ricco Harbor Ricco Harbor is the main port of our base. It can be used to store and dock any aquatic war-machines. It also has scaffolding, making for surprise jump attacks, and epic narrow battles. Bloopers are stationed with the usual mix of troops, as they are prime candidates in fighting off intruders. It, too, has a Sewer System, similar to Delfino Plaza's. It also has a warp pipe, that only my troops can use for easy access to Delfino Plaza and back. We are currently working on Harplosion Machines, which can fire deadly, explosive harthingys at troops and war machines. Gelato Beach Gelato Beach is our... beach. It was conquered for its food and for its prime location. We can easily see enemies in the distance off of the coast, due to lack of smog from factories. Our radar records everything that is happening on on Isle Delfino, and a bit into its oceans. However, we can see farther than the radar can on this beach. It is the location of the Sand Bird and it's hatchery, as well four large mirrors, which will eventually be turned into weapons. Speaking of weapons, the beach is guarded by Watermelon Blasters, which are cannons that fire enormous watermelons to stun and kill foes. It also has a warp pipe for Delfino-Only Troop Transportation to Delfino Plaza. It could be used as a docking bay in a worse-case scenario, but hopefully, that use will not come about. Noki Bay Noki Bay was a tourist area before it became part of our bases. It offered Cliff-Diving and Scuba-Diving, all popular with foreign folk. Now, however, we use it as a weaponry research base. Why? Well, it is very steep and vertical, making it a good place to store rockets and missiles. It also has many hidden alcoves in the mountainside, to keep research hidden and safe. The many paths leading up the mountain are confusing, and walls may push out of the passages and knock down enemies. However, this doesn't happen very often. Still, it's better than nothing. Pinna Park Pinna Park used to be an amusement park, but has been sieged for military use. It features a beach on the outside, and the park within the walls. The walls are actually good defenses, and the large door leading into the park will be tough to get through. The island features a Super Bill Cannon, with transport to Delfino Plaza for OUR TROOPS ONLY! Also, it is home to the Great Sunflower and her children. |
