A small groan of irritation fell from a pair of painted lips while gloved fingers brushed fushia hair quills from out of her pretty hedgehog face. The terrain in this forest was much more harder to walk along in then most of the forests she was used to traveling thru... She had to admit, it wasn't as bad as having to travel thru was less disgusting then moving around in Robotropolis since forests usually lacked the muck and smog just about everywhere you step in that hell posing as a city! A small yelp escaped her mouth when her foot caught the trunk of a fairly large tree! This esperated seething followed the yelp when she would raise up with her hands as her support. Half of upper body was drapped over one side of the humongeous trunk while the other lower half amongst the other side. Great... She thought bitterly while blowing a few quills from out of her face with her mouth. This is just GREAT! Sonia had to keep her focus on the reason she was in this forest of Deerwood. She was appointed by her band of Freedom Fighter to travel to the Kingdom of Mercia to see the King where she would ask him to hopefully bane with her in an alliance against Dr. Eggman. And with that thought fresh in her mind's eye, she picked herself up, though it was in a clumsy manner - which sent her tumbling to the side where her upper half had been lying, she would try to ignore the troublesome terrain and keep on ahead. The princess rose up from her falling position, brushing the leaves that fell and caught in her hair quills. A pout formed on her lips in seeing the dirt embedded in her dress. "I hope I get there soon..." Was what she said to herself as she walked back on her proverbial trail... |

There was no telling when the Ambassador would show from the Resistance, but of course it had just been rumors that an alliance was going to be formed. Whispers had been carried around the town for days now, who knew how along ago it had all started. It didn't matter, there was no reason to ally with forces against Eggman. The tyrant had yet to lay a finger on the Kingdom of Mercia and thus he wasn't a threat to them. Yet. But the locals held no such understandings of what occurred outside the winding forest other then what was told to them by their King. Rob O the hedge was little know outside the natural barriers of his home, and that's just how he liked it. A passive by nature but more then willing to help those in need. But that was just the problem, for years there had never been a message, a warning that had been sent out that required any of the rulers attention. He had become quite content with how things were going. When he began to hear the rumors he waved them off in public, but kept his personal feelings to himself. His people were not warriors, sure in the past his forefathers were seasoned warriors who marched into battle without hesitation. Wars won with little bloodshed, quick thinking and smarts were a huge factor and a trait that was passed down. But he was always willing to learn, and blood of his ancestors still fresh in his veins. Outside the eyes of his people he trained himself, his skill necessary when the time came. Honing his skill till time came where he would have to defend the family name. It just so happened one of these means of training was hunting. Some frowned upon it, others would have sided with the Young lord, but in reality Rob O could careless. When he was out in the wild he could use his skill to his full potential, no guidelines, no rules. Today he sought out a new pelt for his room. Pulling his hood further over his eyes, the light lime green hues darting this way and that, he could feel his prey so close... He notched his bow, ears twitching and listening. Twigs snapped and leaves crunched. He did a full one eighty and lunched his arrow into the bush... |

Another aggitated huff was heard heaving from the female hedgehog. How many of these gargantuan trees inhabitated this area?! Is what she wondered sourly, trying her best to slowly climb over this one that way she wouldn't hurt herself let alone end up in another painful awkward position... Especially like the last one, plus she didn't want to get her clothes any dirtier then they were already! Right as she was arching her upperbody from over one of the humongeous roots that she was slipping a leg over... Furred ears stood up too late to catch the sound of the arrow that had been shot high into the air to get from out of it's way! A loud shriek of pain ripped from her painted lips as the sharp metal end of the arrow pierced past the material of her dress, fur, then flesh hitting a few inches from her right shoulder blade of her back! Blood sprayed a bit from the fresh wound while she fell face first over the root to the ground. Pearly white teeth gritted as she shakingly was reaching for her medallion to summon her keyboard gun so she could fire in defense against whoever or whatever shot her! |

He had expected a painful yelp, a last parting cry from his target as it went down. But that wasn't a sound of a dying wolf or fox, it was a scream from a Mobian. Judging my the highpitch it was female. But no one ever ventured this deep! He had even made sure to lock off this part of the woods as to avoid any contact! Slipping his bow over his shoulder he hurried to find the source of the scream. What he found made him queazy. It was female, a hedgehog at that. He watched her from behind a highrise of bush, fearful of the reprocussions of his actions, but he couldn't very well leave her like this! He could smell her blood, taste her fear. From a hunters point of view that would have been something slightly more interesting, but it was a matter of getting her not to attack him. He saw her fumble for a weapon, calling out to her before revealing himself. "Please, put down thy weapon, I mean ye no harm! T'was an accident!" His thick English accent evident, thick with a mixture of remorse and fear. Shuffling out of the bush, hands up. |

Her body would twitch in excrutiating pain which caused another scream of pain to rip from her throat, her weapon slipping from her trembling hand. Once it hit the forest floor did it shrink then transform back to the neon pink light, that it appeared from her medallion in, diving back inside it. By that point her form was shaking so badly! Fushia hair quills were falling over her face sort of masking it, and one eyelid clenched while the other way squinted as it stayed open. Those ears of hers stood up in hearing the beckoning of a male's voice. It was vaguely, but she could see a teal furred hedgehog male wearing a leather hood walking from out of a brushal area not far up ahead of where she shakingly stood. His hands were raised in the air as to show he meant no harm. She would whimper in his direction as she would clutch her shoulder with her left gloved hand. Her right one rising slowly to her head to hold it from making it spin in how dizzy she felt. |

She looked like she was in excruciating pain. He never meant to do this to her, to anyone! So much for his superb accuracy. When she looked like she was about to go down for the count Rob O hurried to her side. Kneeling down beside her, trying to assessing the damage. It didn't look like it struck anything vital, thank the Gods, but it was bleeding heavily. There was no use trying to pull it out here it would need to be removed by a proper tools of which he didn't carry with him. Simply ripping it out would only cause further harm. "Just... hold still." He murmured softly, looping one arm under her shoulders and another would loop under her knees. She weighted nothing in his arms. "Keep pressure on it. I wilst get thou help." The trek was one he was used to, day in and day out he walked the beaten path. Knowing the path well enough he avoid any trips or traps that would set them back. Making it into town he barked orders, immediately people parted for him, escorting the female to the nearest doctor. The Kingdom was small, compared to the city, and thus it was easier to get from place to place. The down side was, their technology was outdated. She would be placed on a makeshift bed, behind the king several of his top physicians followed him. |

All she could do was distribute a painful slow nod when given simple instructions on what do about her wound. The pressure was just as painful as the would itself, but the intellectual one somewhere in her spinning mind knew that it the best thing to do if the arrow wasn't removed. She could only seeth while grinding her teeth together when doing as told. Hot white tears streamed down her face in response to that harmfulling act. Every thing around her was going to quickly in blurs just like her blue brother. She could hear all sorts of voice and words, but she was getting to a heavily state of dizzyness, which meant that everything was going to grow dark soon... Things right about now were moving so fast and yet so slowly... Oh Mobius, how it hurt her head so much! How she wished the black walls of unconscious would... take her... now... Her form was out finally. What a way to make a first impression inside of Mercia... |

He mentally kicked himself over and over again. Embarrassment showed itself as a deep scarlet flush in his cheeks when the nurses looked to the wound in the violet hedgehog's shoulder. He passed over their questions and comments and demanded they just remove the instrument... He could explain everything once she was in a stable condition. The stranger was tended to in a private room, out of Rob O's sight. There she was placed in a gurney, the wound cleaned with salve and antibacterial. Sawing through the wooden shaft. Now the easy part was sliding the piece out of her shoulder slowly and carefully. Thankfully Sonia was unconscious when they occurred. Blood flowing freely from the hole. Stitching and gauze was quickly applied to stop the bleeding and close the wound. She would be ok, so long as she didn't get an infection. He would wait till they were done and finally called into the room. There was so much he had to think over, particularly how he was going to explain to the female how she ended up with a hole in her shoulder and in a hospital. |

Eyelids were heavy as they would shakingly open. Her head was pounding, and her body ached so badly especially around the shoulder area! She let out a sharp gasp then moan when she went to rise up. Jolts of pain stabbed her right in the right shoulder from where she had been shot. Cerulean eyes shot over to notice that her shoulder was wrapped up nicely over and around it as well as around most of her upper body. They shifted while she tried to remember all that happened... She remembered being in a forest... Then being shot with an arrow... And that hedgehog with the hooded leather cloak... A groan fell from her lips as she clutched her head. The pain of it was excrutiating! |

The doctors thought she would be out much longer then that! They didn't sedate her under the circumstances. No one was sure what the effects could be and she was out cold when she arrived. Quickly several nurses, dressed in white dresses and red crosses printed on their chests. Trying to get the female hedgehog to lay back down again. "Ma'am, please. Ye shouldn't move, thou hath lost too much blood and need rest." One of the raccoon's pleaded, hands clasped together. Her dark gray eyes betraying her age, which was somewhere in her late twenties. Rob O was informed the moment Sonia woke. Fidgeting, straightening up his leather vest and heading to the room. He peeked in through the doors, ears pining back. How was he supposed to approach her? It was his fault she was in this condition to begin with! The staff parted for him when he tried to come in, clearing his throat to get the female's attention. |

The moment the egg plant colored furred female a rose her upper body to get a better look of her surrounds had she been swarmed by a group of nurses! Each of them looking astonished for some odd reason, and some looking worried about her. One of them, a raccoon at that, was now pleading for her to take it easy and to rest. She would only sigh as she would lay back a little, but not by much. She wanted to be able to lay back but still stay up to keep an eye of her surrounds. A sigh of irritation would fall from her lips. Sonia felt so embarrassed with how she made her first appearance here! Sonic (and possibly Manic) would never her down about this if they found out! Just as the nurses were now giving her her space did she hear the clearing of someone's throat in the manner of someone wanting to grab someone's attention. Aquamarine eyes would stare straight at the area in which she heard the noise. A sudden shocked expression came to her features in seeing the man who brought her here, as well as had shot her (by accident) that got her here in the first place. |

Rob O didn't try to hide himself, keeping his head up and hiding his sheepish smile behind the shadows of his hood. Approaching her slowly, bowing his head in respect. He still had no idea who this stranger was but he had to beg for her forgiveness. "M'lady." His voice was deep and brassy, eyes averting hers. When he could look her in the eyes his frown only deepened. She looked so pained. "We have medicine that will dull the pain." He snapped his fingers, expecting a quick response. His presence demanded a lot of respect and everyone was on their toes around him. It was obvious he was of a high ranking here. Sharing a few words with one of the doctors. "Please forgive me for the lack of introduction... and my arrow embedded in thy shoulder." Pressing a gloved hand to his chest, "I am Rob O the hedge. King of Mercia." He reached his hand out expectantly. If she took the sign and placed her hand in his, bringing her hand to his lips and planting a kiss. "May I know the name of the fair maiden I hath tagged so fearfully?" |

A sigh of relief would fall from her lips in hearing that should get medication in her system so the pain would taken of! With the way he was averting his gaze and grining the best he could towards her, she could tell right off the bat that he was guilt ridden shyly with her. He was sincerely for the accidental ambush on her... She tried to keep the utter pain screaming from her form from effecting her gaze upon him as she would listen tentively to him. "It's all right I-" The female had been cut off right about the time he had revealed himself as the man she had come to see! It made her jaw drop in complete shock! Her embarrassment went onto a higher level of shame! That fushia quilled head would lower as she clothed her mouth. The mocking laughter of her blue brother's voice ringing inside her head. Sonia had been brought of her thoughts by the questioning of her identity. Sapphire irises a rose to notice that he was holding out his hand for her to place in, and kiss in that gentlemen's way that she was used to happening towards her. "My name is Sonia, Princess of Moebotroplise." Was her reply while setting her hands into his gentle. She gave him the best smile she could past the pain that rendered her to be a little as polite as she liked to be. "And it was an accident over what happened, so don't beat yourself up about it! Time heals all wounds!" Is what she reassured him, giving him a small wink, though she would wince in pain when she felt a pang in her shoulder area from motioning her arm ahead. |

He gently dropped her arm to the bed, noticing how the small noble action only seemed to cause her pain. Ears flattened against his head, looking away. "I..I must make this up to you!" Once she had declared her title and stated her name it only made the young King feel worse. He not only harmed a fellow Mobian, but a honored guest and royalty! He felt like he was going to be ill. "Lady Sonia, please rest and relax. Ye art welcome to stay for as long as thou wishes, and I will personally see to it every need is met. T'would be my honor." By now the familiar raccoon nurse had returned with a glass of water and several capsules of painkillers. Offering it to the violet hedgehog, bowing her head and stepping away. She had no reason to impose upon the two. "But I must ask this, why hath ye come so far from home?" If he had to he would provide a means for returning her home, but under his own risk. His people would never venture past the thick woods that protected their home. But that was something he was sure he could push that aside for now. |

There was a sad gleam in her eyes in seeing how he his body would react in that way that said he was in a guilt trip and blaming himself to the fullest extent. "You don't have to go that far Sir Rob O', really!" She protested, wanting to waver her hands in the air before herself, but didn't want to put herself in worse pain! Her attention was then set upon the raccoon nurse who brought her something that made her grin so widely as well as tears in the corners of her eyes. She didn't hesitate to pop the pills in mouth then chase it with the water as well as guzzle the rest down! Ears would stand up when he would address the fact for why she was here. "Ah yes, it must have slipped my mind..." Sonia admitted with a small embarrassed chuckle. "But Sir Rob O' I am here on a personal royal request from Moebotroplise to request an aliance with you and your kingdom." Is what she state in the best of a proper tone she could manage. By now she was feeling a tad dizzy, her body swaying a little, and her vision fading from darkness to light continuiously slow. |

He twitched slightly when she would so formally address him. There was no need for that. Placing a hand on hers, needing her to take her time and take a good long rest. "Emissary?" That was the best word that fit the situation. Looking slightly taken aback. An alliance with Moebotropolis? That would mean he would have to put his people in danger. A war was not something he was looking forward to, but something that would be inevitable. Scratching behind his ear, he needed to think on the proposition. "M'lady. Perhaps ye should rest and then we will discuss these matters in dire more closely and clear minded?" That was one way to avoid the problem at hand. That and soon those meds would kick in and have the poor girl flattened and out cold for a couple of hours. "I wilst gather some new clothing for ye and prepare a dinner. Thou is my honored guest." Rubbing his thumb over the back of her hand, giving her a parting smile. His lime green eyes aglow behind the shadowed backdrop of his hood. Excusing himself and heading for the door. Once out of sight he sighed heavily, his heart racing and a sudden flush to his cheeks. That... was an odd feeling. |

A sudden jolt of a mysterious sensation slide down her spine as he would grab her hands rubbing his thumb so softly against the back of it. She had her suspicious of that the feelings were, and she would shake a mental head to it. But it wouldn't be the first time a male furry she barely knew would would make her feel this way... It was almost a habit with her, especially with her exceeding charisma. Though she had to be careful since this man was of a King. She had the mission to think of, not to mention his feels as well. "Right... right..." Was her reply to what he had to say on the matter entilted to her appearance. Minute by minute she was starting to feel more drowsy, the pain killers were starting to kick in! She would then have to chuckle at the mentioing of dinner arrangments, flattered mostly. "And that would be nice..." That is when a yawn fell from her lips. The minute he would leave her be the minute she would finally pass out...! Her cheeks warmed up at the glow in his eyes, and the smile he was parting with... And when he left to let her sleep as she wanting to... A small sigh of content escaped her lips before she laid down to sleep. There was a smile for quite a while before it fell when she was completely unconscious. |

Sonia would be left to rest undisturbed for the remainder of her sleep. Of course nurses were working steadily near by to keep a close eye on the foreign princess. The raccoon in particular kept a weary eye on the female. The presence of a freedom fighter was going to throw her plans out of whack. Something would need to be done, but out of the public eye. Hours later, after much flurry of action in the castle, Rob O finally had a moment to breath. It took time to get a room ready for the guest, for surely someone of Royal decree would demand only the finest living quarters and dining! It was a lot harder putting it all together then he thought. And the excitement was evident not only in the eyes of the young king. The servants hadn't seen a guest in years and did their best to tidy up the olden styled abode. Dinner would be prepped in the massive stone and wooden hall. The table set before the throne, a room Rob O rarely ventured into. It was hard to consider himself a king when he felt like such a failure compared to his ancestors. Brushing his fingers through his dark teal quills. He would gather a handful of servants and head back to the hospital in hopes the lovely lady Sonia had awakened. He missed the sound of her heavenly voice. |

With the medician working its wonders upon the female hedgehog's body, she was able to sleep so nicely, even if it was a simple hospital bed. Her dreams upon the new male who showered her with attention and gracious kindness, even if it was for the mishap of her being shot by him... Though a part of her had this unsettling feeling sinking in her stomache that she couldn't get to go away... She'd have to figure that out later though she believed it was because of the condition she was in. A small moan would be heard as she would stretch the best she could before her eyelids would slowly rise themselves so she could see the area around her. Her upper body would carefully rise this time so she wouldn't hurt herself as she did last time. Fingertips brushed the ends of her hair quills from her eyes way so she could see a bit better. A grin would curl along her lips in knowing that she would see the hedgehog male again... It made her sigh contently causing her grin to widen. |

He was there when she began to stir. Arms crossed behind his back, eyes hidden beneath the loose flap of his hood. A hopeful smile formed on his muzzle, he offered her a slight bow and a "good morning." A soft and bassy chuckle followed. It was dark by now, though not obvious in the windowless room. But he was going to whisk her from this place and to somewhere more suited for her. He approached her slowly, giving a slight bow. Behind him two servants, an old stag and an aged lynx. Both holding a package in their hands. Once more he reached for her hand, waiting hopefully to take it. "I hope sleep came well?" He waited for her answer before producing a bouquet of fresh picked flowers. A verity of reds and violets. All she could do in his present was shut her eyes and turn her head in embarrassment. This adorable grin coming to her muzzle while her cheeks would turn a small hue of blush pink. "Yes I did, actually." Her shoulders would rise while her head lowered. A few fingers tucking her hair quills behind a fushia furred ear. Her eyelids would rise right as her little black nose twitched to the scent of something sweet. Sapphire irises light up in spotting a bouquet of assorted arrangements of flowers stretched out for her gaze upon. "They're lovely..." She spoke out in a sigh as she leant her upper body over to lower her head so she could smell them better. Dark pink furred hands cupped the sides gently as she did so. He quickly reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder, a natural reflex, he feared she may fall out of the bed if she stretched too far! "Careful!" And so he was, making sure he didn't put his hand on her bad shoulder. That would have turned out horrible! Trying to get her to lay back with a gently push on her shoulder. Gently placing the folowers in her hands. "I... did not wish ye to fall." Was his excuse, hesitant to pull his hand back but did so anyway. Eyes falling onto her shoulder, still feeling utterly terrible inside. Raising a gloved finger he was about to add something... The nurse rushed in again, excusing herself before her king. "She needs her medicine, for ta swellin' and infection sah." The raccoon begged Rob O's pardon, getting a rather nasty look from the teal hedgehog. Offering Sonia a tray that held two pills and a glass of water. Rob watched and waited, clearing his throat and motioning to the packages that were still held in waiting. "Uh, these art for thee, M'lady Sonia." Ears would flatten against her head while should would back herself up a bit. A huff was heaved from her chest balancing of her lips. "No offense Sir Rob, but you give my strength less credit then they deserve..." Was the flat remark spoken from her. She hated it when people mistakened her as the damsel in distress! If only he knew what she was capable of... It was a small mistake on her ears' part in not hearing his arrow flying so swiftly at her that got her in the first place for her to dodge! Her body would shudder when she felt this electrical shot from feeling his hand upon her, but she would shake it off.. About the time the nurse was in with her medician did her attentions stray away from him. To an odd like, she had been itching for her second doze of pain killers. Though she brought it to the fact that she wanted them for her pain than more of a 'craving'. It didn't take her but a few seconds to swallow the pills chasing them with the glass of water before setting the glass back to the tray. Her sights then would travel back to Rob O' who was offering two packages to her. Those eyes of hers gleaming with curious anticipation. But she had to shake her head. "This is all too much, you shouldn't be going thru all this trouble to give me things..." And she meant it to. She might have been born of royal high arche, but she had lived as a so-called commoner to realize that being spoiled with gifts wasn't all that was cracked up to be... The raccoon bowed to both of them, hugging the silver tray to her chest. Backing away and turning to leave. From there she turned and left with a bit of a bounce in her step. Just a little more... Rob O shook his head and made a dismissing motion. Pressing his hand to his chest he rose a brow and tried to look hurt. "M'lady, tis a kind gesture and show of good faith in what would become an immediate alliance... I wouldst hate to have it ruined.." He jested, motioning for both servants to take a step forward. Both tops would be flipped out and the contents exposed. One held a dress made of the finest white silks and the other held several accessories for her to choose from. "I only wish ye to dress for dinner. I... do hope ye art up for it?" He couldn't push her to do something if she wasn't feeling up to par for it. She had to sigh while lowering her head all the while. She had to think of the alliance, and if it meant that she had to take things she didn't want to she would. "Sorry, I just don't want you to think I'm wanting all of this just because you think I've always had things handed to me like the flick of my wrist." And she spoke in truth, people were always wrong with the impression they had on her... A hand hesitantly reached out to carress the fine material of the ivory dress in the one box. It had been a while since she had been offered, let alone bought a dress this expensive looking! Those eyes of hers widened and a glisten didn't go unnoticed in them. Her attention then went to the accessories. A shine of a knowing wardrobe expertise was in her eyes now, she knew what went with this dress! And as she was about to reply on his concerns of her and his dinner arrangements... Her stomache rumbled giving it's answer to him. It made her face uproar in a bright embarrassed scarlet blush before she would lower her head to hide her face, arms circling around it. She would nod to him so he would know she was all right. He dismissed her first comment, he made no assumptions, he just provided her what he believed she deserved. And he had a special night in planned out for the both of them. Watching her eyes light up he only felt this was all the more worth it. And when her stomach rumbled he chuckled, bowing to her gracefully. "Well that ends it, ye wilst show to dinner. I can take thee to the castle now or I may have my servents wait till ye art ready and escourt ye to my home. Tis all in thy chosing, M'lady. But be swift, dinner awaits us." Now he just had to wait for her answer, either of which suited him fine. She could only smirk inwardly to herself as she slowly a rose herself from off the hospital bed. I'm a woman of fashion and style! I am one who likes to look and be good as quickly as possible while all the while getting it done superbly all in that quick amout of time! I will be much more ready then he realizes...! "Just give me five minutes and I'll be ready!" Sonia reassured him with a wink, her hands picking out the accessories she has already chosen to go with her outfit. He did his best to avoid planting his hands on her, though he was utterly worried for her safety. Was she in well enough condition to be moving around already? "Art ye sure? Do ye not need more time? There is no rush, truely." Acting more like a parent, his worry plain in his eyes and the way he moved. She was just too full of energy. He only hoped it was because the damage wasn't that bad. When it seemed like she had made up her mind about getting ready now and wasn't going to take his complaints he quickly silenced himself. Clearing his throat and motioning to the door. His servents both bowed and left. "I will be waiting outside." He excused himself, giving her a small smile before he left. The female hedgehog had to admit that her shoulder did lock up in pain when she moved in a parculiar way, but she simple swallowed a noise that wanted to escape her lips. There wasn't any way to get better if she was just going to sit about. She had to agree that rest was important to one's healing, but moving around helped as well. It made the joint or spot of ones body grow stronger and more resitant. She would give him a small smile as well while flaunting a hand at him to let him know that every thing was all right. A giggle falling from her form in how sweet she thought it was that he cared for her welfare. "Well, no time to waste... Better start getting ready! But I'd better be a little careful... Don't need to hurt that shoulder more than it already is." Is what she mused aloud, starting to strip out of whatever she was wearing, hissing a few times when she moved her shoulder a certain way to slip on the other dress. When she would be thru, she'd open the door a little - poking out her head before opening it completely to present herself. "Ready." He waited patiently for her to get ready. Arms behind his back, his back to the door of the room. He watched as he nurses passed, smiling pleasantly and slipped off to his own little daydream. Before he knew it Sonia was sticking her head out of the room. He turned to greet her and... his jaw nearly dropped to the ground. When she stepped out of the room it was as if she had stepped out of his dreams. Her slender frame was so nicely tucked behind the silky white folds. He had the strangest urge to scoop her up in his arms and whisk her away somewhere... private. Closing his lips, clearing his throat. "Y-...ye look... amazing." He held out his arm to her, trying to hide his flush. The servents gave eachother a look before smirking and returning to their stotic position. The moment he touched her hand he shuddered, heart racing. A few fingers would brush thru fushia locks swishing them to the side. This proud but humble smile graced her face as she presented herself. Her smile widening in seeing the reaction she got from the male. She knew she did a fine job when mens' jaws would come crashing to the floor. "Why thank you." The grin upon her face would soon become a geniunely sweet one as she would hold out her hand to sit along his palm. Sapphire irises were half-litted and her cheeks were rosey with a faint blush. Time seemed to slow down as he would hold onto her hand and they locked eyes... Sonia could only image how dinner was going to be like... "Ye... must get this alot... but thine beauty could compare to no other I hath ever laid eyes upon." Grinning slyly, keeping up his usual charm. His hand gently squeezing hers, walking toward the front doors. The sun had set by now, the darkness was illuminated by dozens of torches that would light their way. Here, one could see the stars as clear as day in the velvet black sky. Due to the pollution of Mobotropolis it was impossible to see the sky, the natural beauty. Mercia still held its natural ways thanks to being so out of the way of Eggman's reach. And the walls of wildlife and monsterous trees. The trek to the castle was a short one, passing back the small homes, quaint and reserved little homes of stone and wood. The people were packing up and the smell of dinner cooking wafted from homes. It was as if there was no war going on outside these green walls. Dinner was set when they arrived. The tour of his castle was quick, taking her to the great hall where they would eat. The long gold and broze table was set with candles, a crystal chandelier hung over head. No espense was spared. Two seats set up for the two of them, trays of foreign cruisine was set out for her to enjoy. He walked her to her seat, and helped her to sit. She'd have to hum in flatter by his words. "I've been told something along those lines, yes." This combination of a smirk and romantic grin curled along her lips to the one he flashed at her. As they would walk along she would gaze around at all the interesting objects that starting catching her attention. It's a shame that I didn't get to see them when I original got here... What really snared in her gaze was of the stars twinkling in the night sky. She couldn't help to reminiscious about a time in her younger days where she would have been able to look up to see them there each and every night... It pained her to know that she'd only have this time spent here to see them... Another reason to unclench the tyrannic fist of Robotnik from it's grasp...! Was the thought that came to mind, which turned her expression into a rock hard one upon her features, though she had to shake it off. She didn't want to ruin the evening with that man on her mind... Though she knew at some point in said evening that royal matters were going to be brought up. Sonia could only hope that she could convince Rob of what they're trying to do then what he thought of. A heavily grin soon came back to her fair tinted muzzle when her nose would twitch to the many scents of an arrayment of food set out for the two hedgehogs. Oh, how it had been so long since she had a real meal! Not those poorly scoundered up meals that the egg plant colored female and her brothers had to steal, or sneak thru the other Freedom Fighters! And it was nice not to also pick up the horrid scent of chilidogs that her blue brother always seemed to come across each and every other day... Sonia would nod politely to the male when he helped her into her seat. "Thank you." She also spoke politely as she would sit. Having all this back was kind of nice... It was something she missed and never wanted to be without again...! He waited till she was seated perfectly at the table. Leaning in he was close enough to catch a whiff of her scent. He felt his heart race, the flush in his cheeks a stark red in his cheeks. Thankfully he still wore his hood, protecting his expression from her. Now taking his own seat cross from her. He had made sure that most of the larger displays of food was kept to the side so he would be able to keep eye conact with her. "Please, partake to thy hearts desire, tis all for thee, M'lady Sonia." The servants were at their sides, if they needed anything served or placed in closer reach, they were at a beck and call. But Rob O did not accept their help, instead he seemed more interested in Sonia then the succulant food that was spread out before them. Idly moving his charred meats across his plate. "I hope tis all to thy liking. I hath no idea the ways of thy Kingdom, so pardon if tis not the same." She could feel her eyes grow and light up in taking in the array of food laid out for her! It had been too long since she had sat at a table to make a choice over what choices of food she wanted! A small intake of breath was held from all the excitement she felt. Where do I start...? Every thing is just so... so... Oh Chaos I can't describe it! "It is more to my liking then you can image!" Sonia remarked with a sigh, wiping the imaginary drool from her mouth. "This is more than I could ask for. I am humbly grateful for this!" And she was too. She tried to keep at a slower pace then how she wanted to move in starting to pile her plate. It wasn't lady like to gather an amount to pig out on, but she was past that due to the way she been living to live for quite some time. [/i]I'll have to double, no triple my excerises![/i] He was bemused by her reaction. He thought someone like her would be used to such meals on a daily basis! How was life outside these natural born walls? Were things so horrible, as the rumors had spoken of? Well he could bring that up on a lesser note, right now he wanted to keep the mood as it was. Motioning for a servant to come closer, one who held a bold bottle of wine in his hands. The fox looked between the two, sharing a word with Rob O. Serving the King, filling his wine glass. He turned to Sonia. "Wouldst ye care for a taste?" He waited, the Servant rounded the table and offered to fill her glass on a simple gesture. This seemed to be a moment where he was judging the female, his eyes, usually soft and gentle, were dark and calculating. He always liked a girl who could handle herself. But he wouldn't take it against her if she refused. Sapphire irises would peer up from placing some food onto her plate to find the servent standing beside her. She would smile as she rose her glass up to him. "Please." Her tone was nothing but polite, a gracious warm smile gracing her face all the while up at him. But then she shook her head. Try to keep your personal life aside on this mission. You mustn't have those two entwining as they are. It could ruin the entire mission, and that's thing you need. "Pardon me, I've been a little famished since I've mostly been resting since I got here. I'm enjoying all of this, really." He nodded, he could understand. And sure enough it would be a bad to mix alcohol with her pain medication. He gently lifted his glass, tilting it in her direction. "To Lady Sonia, for I hope thy health regains soon and ye foregive this poor fool and his arrow." He winked at her, pressing the glass to his lips and taking a sip. It was thick and heady, it tasted like fresh grapes. He took pride of his wine reserves, hard to find anywhere else. He would cut back for the night, the glass full was all he needed, enjoying it as much as he could. He inclined his head to her, smiling. "Tis fine, take and take, tis plenty." Lowering his glass he took a few bites off of his plate. "Please, enjoy." And he would let her have her fill, debating on striking up a conversation or letting Sonia eat. "So... tell me, what terms do ye come to my Kingdom? Seeking an alliance? Doth thou have a plan?" When it came to men with Sonia, she was usually confident and out spoken. She voiced her emotions outwardly to let them know how she felt about them, not mention how she felt about the affections they showered her with. But with this King... When he dared to flash a smile at her then wink at her... Her head lowered as she felt the warming of a scarlet blush tinting her cheeks. She was at a loss for words. So being stuck in that position she decided to delve her taste buds into the wine tasting the distinct taste of grape that mixed finely with the alcohol. The taste simply made her hum in pleasure. When she was informed on how she had every right to enjoy, not to mention have a big as fill as she wanted... She didn't hesitate to dive into eating! Though she took it slow and with grace. She didn't want to come off as a slob! Her appetite wanted to fight her on that, but she was able to keep it's argues at bay. Her attention had been on the food till her head shot up in being addressed in conversation. Dark pink furred ears flattened in hearing that the topic was of something she had been dreading to hear since she brought it up. "Well..." Where do I begin...? "For an alliance in the mean time. We want to help anyone we can out here." Especially those blinded by their safety that they think they have! "All in all, we need each other in these times of war and hardship. I admit, for once I don't have a plan of action, but if I have to - I will come up with one in as my brother would put it: 'Sonic Second!'." Sonia was then recalling the feelings she that had been burning her in her sleep... Feelings that she knew could jepordize this kingdom. "That... and... Something isn't settling right with me here... I'm not saying it's your Kingdom or Village, but something is amise! I... I can feel it!" She made sure to give him that serious sure stare while the corners of her lips twitched in uncertainty. He loved watching her enjoy the fine taste of his food. Everything he offered to her was straight from the heart. It brought the teal king enourmous amounts of joy to watch Sonia enjoy in every treat she partook. Sipping his wine gingerly before putting the glass down. Though it would have been nice to simply sit and stare at the awe inspiring creature before him he needed to get down to business. At first his mind was wondering, watching her lips move before actually paying attention to what she had to say. Her voice was heavenly. "So ye seek for more soliders to arms? But ye hath little plans as to how to use this power should ye obtain it." He frowned, him and his people had been locked away within the safety of the woods and ocean that he had been so out of tune of the outside world. He knew nothing of the ongoings of Outsiders, of Robotnik and the plight of the world. He could have showed more sympathy if he had truely known and understood. But as of right now Rob O the hedge only cared about his people. Selfish, perhaps, but his people mattered most to him. The look in Sonia's eyes, the worry she gave over him and what may come, made him smile softly. It was sweet, really it was. "M'lady Sonia. My Kingdom hath been in peace for so long, I fear naught ill will cometh. But I thank ye for thy concern. I understand thy need for assisstance... but I will require time to decide where I will place my position." By now Sonia would begin to feel the first signs of her urge. The drug in her system wasn't enought to sate for so long. "But no more of this, enjoy and let us rest." "That is fine Sir Rob, I don't wish to force any of this down your throat." And it was true, though she hoped he would see to reason. But if he refused an alliance with her then that would be fine even if it wasn't the choice she wanted to hear. Her cheeks started to burn with another blush when he would smile so tenderly towards her. She hid her face quickly to focus it upon the food. That tongue of hers poked out licking lips hastily when wetting her lips when she felt an appetite for something other than the arrays of scrumptious food before her. The craving was so bad that she could feel pings of pain start to arise in her body unless she got it. "Um..." Sonia started quietly, her fingers flexing in the table cloth. "Is there anyway I could possibly get some more pain medicine? I'm afraid my body is starting to ache again..." Is what she admitted embarrassingly, she set her sights upward to make eye contact with soft blue ones in a pleading disposition. Good answer. As kind as he was, as lay back as possible, he would have still taken offense and even found her disrespectful if she tried to push any more. Inclining his head, taking another sip of his drink. Finding she was flushing quite often and actually looked worried. Was she alright? Was that her fever acting up? Perhaps it was best they cut the dinner short and have her escorted to bed. The stain of her travels and her wound would be catching up to her. She answered his question without even having to open his mouth. Frowning slightly, he should have known this was a bad idea. With a snap of his gloved fingers two servants showed up at his side. He ordered for them to carry word to the doctors to bring a dosage of medicine from the local doctor. It would take some time before they returned. Rob O mentally kicked himself for not thinking about such a thing sooner. "They will obtain it soon." He stated softly, not truely able to understand her pain. As much as he wanted to. "Do ye need to rest? Is there anything else to make thy stay better for ye, M'lady?" Dark pink furred ears flattened against the top of her head in knowing that she'd have to wait for the medication. Except for her sudden urge to have her medication as well as that swift ping of pain, she was fine. The fiddling of her hands with the table cloth came to a halt as she gave him the best reassuring grin she could conjure up. "No, no. I'm sure once I get the medication to releave the pain I'll be fine." A hand was flaunted to him in dismay to hopefully wave away any worry on the subject. A sigh was heaved from her chest balancing off her lips as she turned her head to the side. Eyelids drooped as she would frown. She didn't enjoy worrying the King at all. He doesn't look good with a worried expression or a frown... Were her thoughts, a few fingers tucking away a few hair quills behind one of her ears _________________________________________________________________ OOC: Mange, you made a reply to this that I did not save.
