(This RP is open to anyone and everyone. These are my two OC's, any is welcome to join in. There's no real plot, just have fun. For now all characters are open. Any questions, please PM me.

Basic History: Miles is attempting to still gain full rule of Moebius, but the freedom fighters are still able to cross back and forth between Moebius and Mobius and thus help keep the peace so Miles has been unable to completely take over. Dr. Robotnik is still alive in Moebius, always trying to help make the world a better place, blah blah. On Mobius Sonic is King of Mobotropolis, Kingdom of Acorn and pretty much a good chunk of Mobius, Ken Khan has been ruler of the Dragon Kingdom for some 15+ years. Knuckles is the official voice of the Echidna race and still Guardian and in charge of the Kingdom's military and security. It is unknown what became of Shadow.

Time: Consider the time line around the Comic's side story of '30 years later' possibly 25.

Place: Mange is located in Moebius outside of Miles' castle. Mingyu is within an ancient temple along one of the mountain peaks in the icy region of Mobius. )

An egg sat alone in the darkness of the failing sunset, the last of the rainbow hues of sky vanishing into the horizon and became the all consuming nothing of night. A figure stood in the distance, giving the lone olive hued shell one last parting gaze before vanishing back into the winding ways of the city. Left upon the door step of a wealthy abode in hopes someone would care for the bastard child that lay within. The chilly fall air whispered gently across the smooth protect-ant, the small life within trembled, alone and discarded. Fear, anger, confusion were the first emotions the Lost One would feel.

It was nearly dawn when it was discovered upon the doorsteps of the residence. It was the maid that found the misplaced newborn discarded on their property. Tenderly the young female husky pulled the nearly frozen egg into her arms and carried it inside. A wonder of where it could have possibly came from, and how one could have bypassed the security to leave in here! The days that passed were trialed ones as the Lord and Lady of the household accepted the little newcomer with awe and tender care. Doing all they could to keep the small, wavering spark of life going within the thin shell.

Many nights came and went till...it came time to hatch. The awaiting, eager 'parents' sat with the quivering egg in arms. They had kept both the sex and species of the child a secret from themselves, either way they had cared and tended for the orphan with the love of any parents. What may come would bring them pride and joy. Soft cracks appeared in the shell, then the soft rasping of ...claws? Pieces broke from the top and sides, green bits of egg left discarded only to be replaced the the bright and vibrant show of lime green fur.

And quills.

The protective shell of the newborn scattered around the honored mother's feet, in her arms lay not simply a neon furred creature, but an abomination. Along with the short, soft quills of an infant hedgehog, its tail coiled and raveled, and instead of the customary five fingers, it didn't even have four but instead it was born with claws. Three of them, each looked capable of damage even in the first stage of life. A monster that should have been tossed with the trash, but instead was welcomed by the loving embrace of the wolverine couple. The ferocity the child had was perfect.

Depositing the child into the arms of the nanny, caretaker, the one who found the little Lost One, to ready the celebration and inform friends and neighbors of the healthy newborn. Cemelia stared into the face of the silent and still child. It did not cry, it did not whine, but it stared. It's eyes the darkest yellow, smart, cunning, devoid. But it was the smile that got to her. Innocent, small, wanting attention. Against her better judgment she reached down to touch its cheek, still moist from the hatching, fur unbelievably soft and warm. Cracking a small smile when its tiny hand reached up to grip at her finger, the hold seemed unnaturally...firm. What came next was a smile that no child should have worn. Baring two rows of vicious fangs, sharp shark like teeth. The same teeth that came down on her finger and eagerly cut into the flesh and nearly made it to bone in one go. She screamed, pulling her hand back, but the damage was done. She hurriedly planted the newborn back into its crib, running off to tend to her rapidly bleeding finger. Alone, the child wailed and screamed with powerful lungs built for a runner...It did not cry for it's mother's warm embrace, nor did it whimper for the sweet solace of its carbon protein prison, it shrieked and sobbed for more of that sweet red taste on His lips.

Moebius had a new addition to it's population.

Six years came and went without a hitch. The dark tendencies of the hedgelizard was kept under careful wraps. Starting from satisfying himself through the practice on the small field mice that made their unfortunate way into his home. But no one can live off of hard meat forever. A night came where one could have to move on to something softer, bigger.

Clawing at the balding skin of his fur and arms the little Lost One found the nanny busily tidying up the white marble bathroom. Her back turned to the child. Cemelia's end of days came with a quick flash of red. The bathroom tiles ran crimson, the once clean floors stained with the life blood of his caregiver. When morning came nothing would be left...A chill ran down his spine, turning his head away from the mess beneath his clawed hands, ears swerving to listen to the empty air.

Out there, somewhere, another was being born. A wide smile graced his face, that long, lulling tongue hung from between his lips. He would be waiting.

Mange the Hedgehog had plenty of time.

The night was a warm one, in the midst of summer. The small oval egg sat in a bundle of blankets, its soft green shell glimmering in the soft candle light of the bedroom. Two eager parents sat around and watched in wonder as their third child would be brought into the world. The wind chime outside the open window sung with each breeze, a welcoming melody for the one who would be brought into the world, the embodiment of joy and happiness. So it began, the shell cracked and wiggled, anticipation building.

"Someone wants to say hi.." A soft sweet voice of the awaiting mother. Gently pushing the quivering bundle toward the father. Her bright yellow green eyes filled with love and excitement. Even her usual dark violet color began to brighten to soft shades of blues and even pinks. Such was a chameleon's personality.

Ken smiled, his hands shaky as he pulled the bundle closer to him, here he was hoping desperately for a son. But a healthy addition to the family was good enough. Hearing the soft tapping at the shell, now assuming the little one would be as its other siblings, nearly full reptile, the sound being an egg tooth that rasped at the thin membrane and shell. When the pieces finally fell away the monkey had to content his excitement as what stood before him was an honest to God boy. Well obvious when, instead of his upper body exposed, it was his lower half that stared him in the face. The lizkey was literally upside down, how it happened he was sure of. Reaching down to remove the pieces of egg that still shielded the face of the newborn. And smiling back at him was the face of his first born son. Ken laughed, though he perhaps should have been disturbed that the child did not cry or come out biting like his other two siblings.

Scooping up the little one into his arms, wiping away the lingering after math of the birth. Now the vibrant green fur and scales shimmered. Not just one shade of green, but a verity of hues. He was surely their shining Jade. Mingyu.

The newest addition to Mobius.

---------------------------------------------------------

Mange had spent a good chunk of his teenage years locked behind walls of fluffy and comfy white padded walls. It had taken him so long to convince the Orderly's of his sanity, of his ability to cope outside the walls of the facility. And it did pay off. No one suspected a thing. Behind him he had his faithful shadow, Dorrien. The raven haired coyote hybrid followed the hedgehog without a word or complaint. But he could care less. He had a mission, and that was to find his missing link. And he would require the help of a star post to get him to the other side.

His first stop would be at the abode of the widely known and feared 'King' of Moebius. Miles Prower. Too bad he only ran part of Moebius since Doctor Robotnik was still too much of a problem to get rid of and Scourge was always a thorn in the King's side, taking every chance he could get to destroy what Miles attempted to created. It was either his or no one's in Scourge's case.

Of course Mange had tried to go for the Doctor first, but his security had made things messy an left him with a tainted scar across the left side of his face. His quills were still intact, curved nicely in an upward turn, just two main quills and a small cascade of smaller quills. Hiding his claws behind long white sleeves of his blue and red vest. The yellow heart stamp over his chest a lying symbol he wore. His black and gray boots leaving only the lightest trail behind him. Itching to get this over with, he needed a way to Mobius. Now.

Mingu spent the day continuing his training amongst the others within the walls of the temple located in the highest reaches of the Ice Cap Mountains. Seeking enlightenment and the right path of his life. Lately he could not stop having the most bizarre dreams that left him screaming till he woke and his voice hoarse. His brightly colored fur and scales easy to pick out amongst the other followers. Wild array of blues, reds, pinks and purples. Not to mention the crazy combination. Monkey and lizard. His body gleamed in the light, at moments he vanished and reappeared instantly. Each motion of his body precise and near perfect. Five years of training here had come and gone so quickly. Since the death of his mother he could only find peace here, amongst the cold and silence of the empty snow. How long ago was that? How old was he then? Ten. He could only wonder what had become of his family. The letter still came, slow and far in between, but they held words that kept him going.

He moved over to the side lines for a quick break, wiping his brow with the back of his multicolored arm. Studying his fellow students, he found none quite like him. Rubbing the horn on his forehead, slick with sweat. His violet mask of fur would surely smear. Wiping his hands on his baggy silk pants. The red and blue matching perfectly. The YinYang symbols sat perfectly near the bottom half of his pants. Markers in the blue. Tugging at his white collar, his golden vest smeared with dirt. It was about time he bathed.

Back at the 'humble' abode of the crowned king of Acorn, Sonic the Hedgehog was about to receive some grim news. Since the first great War that spanned between the armies of Miles, Anti Tails, and the Kingdom of Acorn certain precautions were taken with monitoring the boundaries between the worlds. The slightest occurrence between was immediately brought up to Sonic and Sally's attention, after passing through Knuckles of course. The hot headed echinda was currently indisposed this time of night, the information passed down directly to Mobius' greatest hero and leader.

And just who would be passing this message along, well none other then the king's latest secret mistress, Mina the Mongoose. No one speedier to pass the information along, right? Bowing before the lone king, Mina turned her gaze to the hedgehog, trying hard not to smile despite the dire news she was about to unravel. Sally was nearby of course. "Sonic, my King, Queen Sally, news comes from the borders of the Multiverse. It seems Miles had been working towards another attempt at claiming Moebius. Rumors say he's even claimed the lands of Downunda." And trailing behind her came her ever faithful husband, Tails, out of breath. A show of his inability to keep up with the older female. A shame.

King of Mobotropolis. A position Sonic thought he'd never have to fill. It appeared after all this time him and Sally were finally together. Fate made no mistake, right? Someone had to be stubborn enough, more-so than the blue hedgehog, to finally get him to settle. To become what he is now. But was he truly happy? Was any bird in a cage as happy as they would be free and flying? Sonic never felt he was meant to settle but that's not what happened.

Sonic was older, some might have even said passed his prime. He didn't like to think so but occasionally he believed it too. He wasn't a Freedom Fighter and saw very little action. He was confined to a castle some could only dream about living in yet it was incredibly small compared to the world he used to run around every day. He had many more responsibilities now. Not just for himself, but the citizens and his family. It's all came down to paperwork and ordering troops into doing what he was the best at. Or used to be. Sonic didn't like it. He never did.

He wanted to be with Sally but the toll it had taken on his spirit had made him depressed. He was incredibly good at hiding it, or maybe the chipmunk forced herself to overlook it. She had to of known that he could never be completely happy in the life he opposed for so long. But she was just thankful and glad she caught the prize and he was willing to settle at all. This was the life she felt obligated to have and deep down, she enjoyed it.

Sonic did not.

The blue hedgehog's happiness revolved around his kids and sometimes his wife. The thrill of adrenaline, that addictive rush was hardly felt around these days. It was only the sinful acts he conducted in privacy that gave him the rush he longed for. He hated himself for it, he really did, but he couldn't help it.

Seeing Mina with Tails made his heart pump just a little faster. The two shared an intimate secret and that made him excited every time he saw her. However, personal issues aside, Sonic did still have a Kingdom to maintain, whether he liked it or not.

"I see." Sonic would have felt a rush of heroism, jumped to his feet, and had been there by the time Tails made his slow entrance, but not anymore. That's no longer who he is.

"Looks like we'll be rallying the troops then." Sonic shot a look over at Sal, his voice vaguely sarcastic. She seemed to pick up on his attitude today and could only resist the urge to roll her eyes. "Thank you. This is horrible, it's unfortunate we didn't get word of his intentions sooner." Before Downunder had been overtaken. "We'll provide an army to head to Downunder and salvage what survivors remain and are being held." That was the easy part. The worst was how to handle Miles and what his newest ploys were. Sally stood from her throne, Sonic following. Walking to speak with a commander was the most action he'd be seein' out of this.

"Dismissed." Sonic grunted, throwin' a wink in Mina's direction while the others seemed none the wiser.

Antoine sat with is feet to the fire. He watched his wife with half closed eyes as she sat at the computer doing the books. It had been a long time coming, but things were finally settling down. He was now enjoying the rewards of being married, and watching her dreams come true. She had finally set up her hair dressing business, and it was taking off. He hardly saw her, with a few exceptions of when she was home balancing the books. He did help around the shop though, usually at the end of the month when they took stock, and at the end of the year.

His life had slowed down considerably. He was still working at the castle, but most of his duties were purely paperwork. He would run inspections, and the occasional tour. Yet, with the current state of peace that had settled over Mobotropolis and the surrounding areas, his days of flying off to who knows where, facing who knew what were pretty much over.

He looked up at the portrait of his father hanging on the wall.

"You can take the soldier out of ze fight, but not ze fight out of ze soldier." He thought with a sentimental sigh.

Patch lept. He felt the rush of air, his eyes watering before he plunged within the cold lake. The water hit him like a thousand daggers. His descent slowed until he turned and swam towards the light. It was faint but grew brighter as he clawed his way to the surface. He threw his head back inhaling a deep gulp of air before swimming towards the beach. He lay upon the warm sand, letting his fur dry. He felt like his true self out in the wild. It was odd, but he knew he was being watched.

A coyote padded past him, glancing at its mobian counterpart with its golden eyes before loping off into the gorge.
