Not a Spoiler ...
Log Summary: The following morning the Freedom Fighters discuss what they're going to do about Scourge's situation. Sally decides to look for more clues at Freedom HQ (and begin cleanup) while Sonic and Bunnie see if they can get more answers out of Scourge. Shadow and Rouge also begin their mission into a mysterious pyramid this morning. There's no telling what they will discover.

Content Warning - Scourge asks Bunnie a vulgar question in the post that begins Scourge: " Green. " Not Greenie. Not the Green Goblin-hog. You can skip his post that turn and not lose any context thanks to Bunnie's response.

Sonic: Sonic spared a glance at Tails before letting his eyes wander between Sally and Scourge, ultimately ending with the green hedgehog. "Well, good luck with that." Seeing as how he's failed at everything else, we'll see how hard he tries to keep that attitude in check. So far, he's done a rather lousy job. The guards, with no further word from Sally, decided it's best they escort him to a holding cell for the time being. At least until the morning before there's word on what to do with the 'changed' villain.

Bunnie: ::Well, there was nothing more she could do about Scourge for the meantime, so she proceeded to maintain the status quo: ignoring him. Instead, she placed her hands on her knees and beamed warmly at Tails:: Come t' see us home, have ya, baby? That was right sweet a' you...

Tails: Tails, hesitant for a brief second to remove his gaze from the green hedgehog, looked at Bunnie and smiled. He rubbed the back of his head, and laughed a little, a small feeling of having done something important rising in his heart. He always felt good when someone complimented he did something sweet, or nice, or brave, even if it was nothing at all. “I’m just glad to see you guys are back safe and sound!”

Scourge: When the guards got in position to lead him away; one standing on each side of him with the one in back having a steady hold on the handcuffs he spared a look in Sonic's direction again. A rather indifferent look even when they shoved him a lot rougher then they should have considering he was on decent physical behavior tonight. He only put his hands on Sonic and it wasn't even a painful gesture! None the less he walked with the group only take a moment to get his legs used to the restraints they put on him. There was something ... smug about the way that he looked at the blue hedgehog right before he disappeared from sight. Scourge just couldn't help himself; he knew that he shouldn't have gave them any reason to suspect anything more then what was at face value but he did it anyway. It really wasn't over. They all knew that, though. The four guards (and NICOLE) monitored him for the remainder of the night in that lonely little cell that was only lonely because they somehow managed to lose all the prisoners that were formlerly in this high security cellblock ... again. Why did they even bother having a prison? It didn't even work the way it was supposed to! At least they were able to keep Scourge in there for the night. Nothing happened, oddly, but one of the guards remarked that it was because nothing happened that things were awfully strange. Scourge sat down on the edge of the bed and ... stared at the wall. Looked like he was really concentrating. NICOLE theorized that he may have been communicating with someone but her search of the cell came back inconclusive. Maybe he was just ... crazy?

Sonic: Something didn't settle right with Sonic, not with the way Scourge had looked at him last. He knew he was planning something despite his desperate need to sound convincing. Unfortunately, whether he was or wasn't, he couldn't do anything until that point came. "As for you..." Sally trailed off, obtaining Sonic's attention with a reprimanding look. Oh, he knew what was coming. Of course she wasn't happy with him but his strategy worked, didn't it? What's the big deal? An awkward smile stretched across his face, deciding it was pointless to even try to explain. "Well, see you guys in the morning! It's waaay past my bed time. Night!" Sonic was able to run away at that point but only saved himself until the next morning. He couldn't escape the talk they had then. A waste of breath, really. Blue was zoning out so fast, he nearly fell asleep by the time she stopped. Like he ever listened anyway, ya know? He was more interested in whether or not Scourge had escaped yet. He was certainly anticipating it but his case wasn't going to be heard until later in the afternoon.

Bunnie: ::The excitement…and annoyances…of yesterday were just that: yesterday. Bunnie was up and moving about their little settlement with cheer and purpose, performing the daily tasks that helped to keep everything running smoothly. There was no sense in dwelling on the multitude of questions that settled so heavily on everyone's shoulders. Until something happened, or new information came to light, there was not anything anyone could do -but- go about business as usual::

Tails: The young two-tailed fox tossed another broken metal piece over his shoulder as he dug through a wooden create of mechanic pieces. Some old, some new from the supplies he had gotten yesterday. He was hoping to make maybe a small mech that would be useful for everyone in the city. He stuck his head out of the box, a thumb and forefinger under his chin as he thought. He couldn’t find a central piece he needed to really get started. He walked to one of the drawers at the opposite corner of his workshop and began to search once again there.

Scourge: Nothing seemed to be happening ... and that was beginning to make the guards look quite anxious. At one point in the night the green hedgehog did actually go to sleep in the position he took for his wall-staring. NICOLE assisted in the changing of the guards to ensure everything went smoothly. The A.I. couldn't feel emotions like a mobian could but she could imagine that her friends might be becoming worried the more time went by. It was beginning to look like another boring, mediocre, day in Mobotropolis. That could actually be the worst type of day there could possibly be. When a certain Freedom Fighter got bored ...

Sally: Clearing her throat, Sally frowned over at Sonic. "I said 'Are you even listening to me?' but I guess it's clear you're not." A hand paused on her jutting hip as she leaned her pelvic bone against the table between them, leaning forward slightly. "Sonic, do you think I like meeting with you like this?" She could guess his answer. "I don't. Why don't you just follow orders?" Exasperated, the Princess took a seat across from the blue hedgehog, and folded her arms in almost a pouting position. "It's putting people at risk," her tone had softened, "even if it's just Shadow, and I-- I don't know, honestly, what to do with you anymore." Her light blue eyes tried to reason with him where her authoritive voice had failed.

Sonic: Coming back to reality from something that seemed a lot more interesting in his mind than what Sally was saying, he forced his eyes to focus when she repeated herself. He looked utterly lost for a second, telling quite clearly, no, he wasn't listening. Fortunately, she kept going, so he didn't have to try to defend himself. No point to, really. He felt none of this had one when he should be getting praised for bringing in Scourge. Sure, his methods were questionable, but had she said even one good thing about his gallant return? No. Even so, it was best he rolled with this and tried not to get frustrated himself. As she had grown accustomed to his impulsive nature, he had gotten used to her bitc--er, being a worry wart? "I could make some suggestions." Okay, okay, sultry look aside, Blue attempted to be serious. "Come on. Chill out, Sal." Restless already from sitting, Blue rose to his feet, stretching his legs and feeling the need to head out. Must she forcibly confine him like this? This day had only just begun and already he was bored and anxious. "Trust me, okay? I know what I'm doing. And nothing bad happened. So let's leave it at that, hm?"

Bunnie: ::Bunnie's standing ear flicked absently towards the almost heartwarmingly familiar sounds of scolding near by, but she was hardly one to interfere with this. Her only wish was that Sally would approach this with a clear mind. She did, after all, have some very important decisions to make regarding their most prominent prisoner. Glossy metallic feet minced expertly around the increasing clutter Tails was creating in his search, fingers splayed daintily beneath a tray bearing the literal fruits of their agricultural labor here in Mobotropolis. This tray would be placed on the table in silent offering to Sally and Tails before she spoke, somewhat hesitatingly.:: …so. Jus' what -are- ya gonna do 'bout Mean Green?

Tails: Tails sighed as he scratched his head. Where could he have put that little contraption? His right ear twitched slightly, pointed towards the conversation of his friends while they spoke. He was just as curious as Bunnie what they were to do with Scourge. He turned around, taking a break in his search for now, and walked over to join Bunnie’s side to hear what was to be said about the current situation.

Sally: "Thank you, Bunnie," She distracted herself to offer a warm smile of sincere appreciation to the girl. It was true, this sort of conversation happened quite often, so it was easy for her to switch from her resentment of Sonic's ignorance of her plan. She accepted a few berries, and sat back in her chair once more. Her ankles crossed and she drew her legs up into the chair against her chest, just the toe of her cerulean boots dangling over the edge. "I'm not sure, to be honest. We all know there's something awkward about this, but what can we do if he's choosing to feign innocence?" Lips pursed, she stared at the fruit in concentration. "As much as we all hate it, there's not a lot we can do to prevent something from happening, if we don't know what that is. Was there anything unusual? Anything at all that you can think of?" She directed this question primarily towards Sonic, since he was the only one present who entered HQ.

Sonic: Sonic didn't bother to eat anything when he already had breakfast before getting dragged into this boring conversation. If they knew he was going to try something, all the more reason to better secure him before he did. He was tempted to go talk to him himself. By the time they did anything, he bet it'd be too late. Always in a rush, huh? You betcha. "Ah..." Anything unusual? Well, he could say a couple of things, but he'd save himself from that awkwardness. He was just being an asshole anyway, go figure. "You mean besides this whole thing?" He shook his head. As much as they knew that they were blindly heading for a trap, he felt irritable they were just standing around.

Bunnie: ::Bunnie took a deep breath and let out a slow, husky sigh, both ears held low a moment. Well, there was nothing to be done about it…for now…:: Well…ah have faith y'all're gonna sort this out. ::she handed off some of Tails's favorite pieces of fruit to him, touseling his hair fondly before she began to transfer some of the food to a smaller dish:: …ah'm gonna go bring 'im breakfast then. He may be one awful monster, but we're not. ::She did suspect that Sonic likely had something to say to him as well…and really, the only one she might try to keep from accompanying her would be Tails…::

Tails: Tails happily accepted the fruit and took a bite as he thought a moment. He wished he could help out and come up with some kind of plan to suggest. He watched as Bunnie began to walk out. He felt a slight rush of nerves crawl down his spine at the thought of the rabbot meeting with the hedgehog alone. Bunnie was strong and tough, yes, but he couldn’t help but feel worried. It was kind of obvious that Sonic would possibly think of going down there as well, but even so, the little fox wanted to be of some help. He began to walk after Bunnie, “Could I come with you Bunnie?” He asked innocently, not wanting to show his worries.

Sally: Sally pressed a berry to her lips as she continued to think, then took a bite and downed it as quickly as possible. "I'm going to Freedom HQ!" She stood, suddenly, as if this was of utmost importance. "You two be careful with him.. you never know what he might try." She bent at the waist, letting the fruit roll out of her hand to the table beside the tray. Blue eyes caught emerald. "Are you coming with me? Or going with them?" True, she hadn't specified what she was doing, but it was simple enough. Investigate his temporary, and former, stronghold.

Sonic: Sonic wasn't so sure Scourge needed to be fed right away but didn't oppose. He had in mind to stop by himself, preferably first in case anything was amiss once he got there. At this point, who knows what to expect? Sally had basically said the same thing and he spared her his fleeting attention when she suggested to go to Freedom HQ. Why? Well, he supposed he'd know when he went with her. "I'll catch up." He gestured with two fingers as a salute and a goodbye, having little to say to anyone else. Blue was disappearing from the room. Where was he going? He didn't really say, but it was best guessed he was going to pay Scourge a visit while Bunnie (and possibly Tails?) caught up. He didn't think it was wise for the fox to go, he may drag him back out when they arrived to take him with him to Freedom HQ if he really wanted to do anything. He didn't know what she expected to find there but Sal was pretty good at following her gut instincts.

Bunnie: What? ::She paused, one shapely, gleaming leg elegantly placed just so I front of the other in unconscious poise, and half turned to regard the fox kit with a brief astonishment. How very fearless of him…but then…Tails -was- growing. No longer a baby, certainly, but far from being an adult Freedom Fighter. Perhaps…her innate protectiveness was a bit much?:: Er…well, baby, ah dunno 'bout that…such a gentleman fer offerin' t' escort a lady, though. ::It wasn't so much the physical danger she feared as…well, one had to face it. Scourge, he who was sharp of tongue and coarse of phrase, was a terrible influence on anyone, let alone a tender young mind that amazingly, amidst all the suffering they'd been through, yet retained some purity…:: …oh, alright…but th' first sign a' trouble an' you run til both those cute lil tails fall off. ::He had to start seriously participating in operations at some point...perhaps this was it::

Tails: Tails’ bright blue eyes never left Bunnie as he waited for a response. His ears dropped slightly as she began to reject his offer. He almost felt the disappointment rising into his throat. He knew how the others tend to see him. He was, after all, pretty much the youngest of their group. To the eyes of many, he was too young to take care of himself; he knew this, but he wanted others to understand that he could be of great help if they gave him the chance. Even with the smallest things. He’s faced dangers before, and to be anything like the hero Sonic was, or like the other Freedom Fighters, he had to face many more. At some point. The fox’s eyes lit up, his ears perking up once more as the rabbot accepted his offer to go with her and Sonic. He held back a sigh to her orders to run at the sign of trouble and nodded, “Alight! I promise!” He was just glad to be getting a chance to help, even if nothing happened, he was glad to know the others were willing to accept him wanting to take on any dangers.

Scourge: The guards were doing a fantastic job keeping watch over the prisoner. Coming up on their fifth hour of watching the green hedgehog sleep on a corner of their bed they decided to do something else to preoccupy their time. A game that bored drunks played ... just without the drinking. One of the guards brought a snack, a pack of raisins, with intentions of eating it on their lunch break. Boredom caused him to abandon the idea in hopes of abandoning their boredom. He gave his comrade a handful of raisins and they took turns pelting each other with them. Seriously. The aim was supposed to be catching them in their mouths for points but it quickly dissolved into some kind of bizarre snowball fights with small dried rasins. One of the guards fell back too far in their attempt to evade a flurry and slammed against the front of the only occupied cell on the block. The noise made his ears raise sharply, twitching, before he opened his eyes with a grunt. The guard gave the hedgehog little more then a glance before resuming his game. He was winning! ... wasn't he?

Shadow: Shadow sighed absently upon waking from where he sat at the base entrance of a pyramid, barely sheltered from the sand that got caught up in the wind, and completely exposed to any possible sandstorms. His eyes felt dry, but he blinked a few times to relieve the sting, then pushed forwards to (essentially) roll onto his feet. Their search the night before proved fruitless, but Shadow's superior was convinced. Something happened out here yesterday to set off their alarms. Having brought himself back up to complete awareness, Shadow glanced around to see where Rouge had ended up...

Sally: Well, no arguing with him. She started out the door not too long after Sonic, hoping he would catch up eventually. Maybe she had her own selfish reasons for asking him instead of Bunnie, but it still wasn't smart to go on her own. Just.. knowing Scourge. She stopped off to grab a few things before heading towards Freedom HQ, including her own, homemade CSI kit of sorts. Maybe he even left a communication device behind.. or a letter.. or, well, who knew? But it was going to be her job to find out what he was up to, one way or the other.

Sonic: Sonic was only slowed down by security that had to verify his intentions. Not a hard matter to deal with. It was only a small delay for the blue hedgehog (though not necessarily eager to get there, just generally impatient). It seems everything is fine though. He was half expecting passed out guards and a blown open door or something similar to that dramatic effect. Instead, what he got, made his brows furrow and a dry expression form. He put his hand on his lithe hip, watching the guards and unsure of whether or not to feel amused. He cleared his throat, "Scourge hasn't tried anything, I see." Looking in the direction of the hedgehog, it appeared he was just waking up.

Bunnie: ::Bunnie, on the other hand, was not nearly so ready to overlook this as she came in behind Sonic, tray in hand. Her eyes widened, then narrowed sharply, both ears laying back in irritation:: Th' -hell- a' y'all doin?! Horse around on yer -own- damn time, we're countin' on you t' be vigilant, not act like a buncha damn fools! Ugh! ::She shook her head, pointing commandingly with her free hand to the open area just past the cell:: Y'all just park right there an' do whatever it takes t' remember what it is t' b'have like professionals an' stay outta mah way! ::She would not tolerate such sophomoric behavior in such a potentially dangerous situation. What were they thinking? Dismissing them for the moment, she knelt before the cell, pushing the prisoner's breakfast through the designated slot::

Rouge: The bat was already wide awake, perched on a loose bit of stone some ten feet above the hedgehog and half-cocooned in her wings for what protection and shade they offered as she toed at the point where her narrow perch met the pyramid proper. Odd thing to find – those stones rarely shifted without good reason. Shadow's movement caught her attention and she raised a wing to move it from her line of vision as she turned to peer down at him. “Well. Good morning, sunshine.”

Antoine: Sally's departure was noticed quickly as Antoine headed in to meet up with Bunnie. He paused, watching her a moment; he certainly didn't begrudge her a chance to get out now and again, especially as she was probably looking for insight into their very odd situation. He stepped tentatively toward her, ears perked curiously. “Princess?”

Tails: Tails had greeted the sight of goofy guards with a series of confused blinks. Had they really gotten that bored? He couldn’t help but cross his arms with a look of disappointment to back up Bunnie’s commands and tone. Though, he had to admit, what they had been doing looked kind of fun. He glanced at the cell a moment. Scourge not even attempting an escape seemed all the more stranger to him. He was beginning to worried, if maybe, they were all becoming paranoid. Naïve thinking, maybe, but they seemed pretty up tight now. No, he couldn’t let down his guard or any suspicion. Stay cautious and wait it out, he told himself.

Espio: The light-magenta chameleon was currently leaning against Freedom HQ, arms crossed loosely over his chest. He had met up with Knuckles not too long ago, surprised but not surprised that he had acctually left his Island. With the whole Scourge thing going on and random friends showing up here and there it was no wonder that news spread eventually to Knuckles. He had just finished explaining what he could to the red Echidna, and was now silent as he let his friend take in the information.

Scourge: Sally should have brought some kind of cleanup kit considering the condition of their former headquarters. Scourge delivered on his promise to completely trash whatever he conquered. The base was a mess to put it lightly; garbage littering the floor, the furniture rearranged, and anything of value that wasn't bolted down missing. They might want to burn the furniture by the way. The good thing about trashing the place was that it was difficult to tell what was important and what wasn't. There were nearly two dozen scribbles of paper balled up on the floor near the kitchenette. They had preliminary lists of Freedom Fighters along with varying degrees of notations. From a technical standpoint this could have been just Scourge writing down battle notes. There wasn't anything especially explicit on these notes compared to the slip of paper that Stripes had taken along with him, He should have shared that information with the class before running off into the desert sunset. Sally wouldn't find much else because Scourge had a habit of carrying everything of value on his person. In his jacket. The one that none of the guards checked for weapons or anything of the like. Not that Green was going to give them any hints of anything. Their eyes grew wide when they saw three, no four, members of the Freedom Fighters scroll around the corner. The lady was mad! One of guards mentioned something about this being 'special training for combat' before scurrying off in the corner. Bunnie's screaming was enough to make even the spaced out hedgehog in the cell look more aware. A sleepy look was cast in the group's direction before he laid back down on that sorry excuse for a mattress. His forearms were folded under his chin when he laid down on his belly; tucking his head in the nook created by his folded arms in a fashion that told the southern bella two things. He did not want those nuts and berries or whatever all natural poison she was trying to feed him. The second idea was that she was disturbing his the twelve hours of sleep required to make him look his sexiest. It didn't matter what they were trying to sell. At ... whatever time it was he just wasn't interested!

Shadow: A grunt was Shadow's response, and he started out into the sand once more. An annoying thing, sand. He couldn't get a decent start on it with the lack of resistance, and he couldn't easily jetskate atop it. It was a real pain to get up to speed. So for now, he walked, aware that Rouge was undoubtedly running on an empty stomach.

Sally: Sally stopped right as she was addressed, her feet skidding a little on unpaved ground. "Antoine, oh. I'm on my way to HQ, want to come?" She shifted the small, squarish bag from her left hand to her right, turning to fully face the coyote now.

Sonic: Sonic kept his distance from the hostile 'Rabbot' after she snapped at the guards but with good reason. Blue turned more of his attention towards Green who didn't appear to be hungry. He knew it was a waste of time to give him anything. Ah, well; he may get hungry and eat later. He was going to be there for a while after all. "Hm, well, seems sleeping ugly will pig out later, I'm sure." This was becoming delightfully boring already. If it does turn out that Scourge was a changed hedgehog well... No, that just wouldn't happen.

Bunnie: ::Scourge could eat…or not. It was the Freedom Fighter's duty to be humane and offer food to their prisoner, but eating it was up to him, and she most certainly wasn't going to coddle him. Then, as though reading her friend's mind, she would turn to Sonic and nod:: …why don't ya go on ahead, Blue. I'll call ya if anythin' happens. ::She straightened then, casting a reproachful glare to the guards:: We'll be leavin' now, an' if ah catch you actin' like a buncha kids in hea' again I'll tan yer hides mahself, got it? Come on, Tails… ::Well, the lesson the young fox hopefully lear ned from this was how -not- to act, she hoped...::

Rouge: Empty indeed, and she was all too aware of it. Flight took energy after all – not as much energy as Sonic's mad dashes, perhaps, but energy nonetheless. She hopped from her perch to glide just over the hedgehog, though; in the windy desert, it was a bit easier than dragging metal-laced boots through the sand. Shadow's destination wouldn't be questioned just yet; for now, she would wait and see.

Antoine: Antoine hesitated only briefly before nodding; he was sure Sonic would be along sooner or later, but there was no telling what Sally might find at HQ in the meantime. Something that might explain all this, he hoped, but that was strictly best-case scenario. “Of course, Princess.” He would contact Bunnie briefly to let her know what he was up to – no sense in standing her up, even if it WAS just meeting at the prison to watch Scourge stare at the walls, or whatever he was doing – and he would move to Sally's side.

Tails: Tails, gave one last look back towards the cell, followed behind Bunnie. Seems he had nothing to worry about going down there after all, but he was glad to still have come along. In his mind, it was a first step to show others he could be a part of assignments or missions that had any hints of possible danger. He didn’t want to be looked at as a young kid forever. He set his eyes back on Bunnie, “…” He felt a little unsure re-asking the question that had been going through all their minds, but he was curious on everyone’s opinion, “Bunnie, do you really this it’s possible that Scourge could… really be turning good?” He just couldn’t shake the feeling that maybe… They were becoming too cautious? Maybe it was just his trustworthy side, even if he did get a nervous feeling in the pit of his stomach just looking at the green hedgehog when he wasn’t trying any of his tricks.

Knuckles: "So..." The echidna scratched at the back of his head with a gloved hand, before turning it as his dreadlocks swung slightly with the motion. "Okay I think I've got it..." Knuckles was only there because of Charmy; if the little bee hadn't been bored enough to visit he might not have found out about it soon enough. Running a hand over his head to smooth out his hair, violet eyes watched the other in silence.

Espio: Espio turned to Knuckles again, nodding solmnly. "That's good...we'll probably need your help." he replied, letting his arms fall from his chest. "What's even more weird is the fact that he didn't resist at all...he's still not causing trouble." Espio gave Knuckles a knowing look. "You know as well as I do; people like Scourge don't give up so easily. And they don't turn over a new leaf within 24 hours or so..."

Scourge: Was this the part where everyone took turns poking him with sticks (any suggestive comments made about this innocent statement will result in you being tossed in a padded cell with Marine), gawked, and threw peanuts at him? In all honesty he didn't know why a group of them was needed for one of them to deliver that sorry looking meal. Aside from an ear turning in Sonic's direction briefly at the idea of being called 'ugly' he didn't move from that spot. It looked like his Master Plan just might be boring them to death with inactivity. At least the guards were proving entertaining. That same dog that was insulted by Scourge yesterday had the gall to ask Bunnie if she would spank him with her metal or organic hand before hiding behind his braver co-worker. Yeah. Maybe it was best for everyone if they just took their leave ...

Shadow: Shadow stopped in midstep and wheeled around on Rouge, looking particularly bitter. This was getting nowhere fast, and he knew it. After a thought, he composed himself and turned his gesture into an over-exaggerated turn, going left, farther north. The only thing that kept him from calling the Commander back was Rouge by his side. He didn't need any comments about how he was giving up, or failing this mission. But to be honest, he detected no Chaos Force out here at all, and he was starting to sweat through his thick black coat.

Sally: She gave Antoine a moment to decide, and started back down the gentle slope towards the Great Forest. It didn't take her long to pass through the cool shade of the plant life and reach the clearing where Freedom Headquarters stood. Taking the door the three hedgehogs used as an exit the night before, she took care in looking and listening for any remaining Mobians who might have assisted Scourge while he was here. Judging by the mess, she could either say he had help making it, or not enough help to force someone else to clean it. A good toss-up. Nevertheless, she paused in the entryway, hands on her hips, taking in only the beginnings of the horrors to await her... "Disgusting. What a mess."

Sonic: Sonic overheard a particular... distasteful comment and decided it really was time to get going. Poor guy, he almost felt sorry for him! Without further ado, however, he uttered a "See you guys later!" And was, of course, the first one to leave. At the pace he was going, you'd think he was in a hurry. If you didn't know Sonic, you'd always think that then. Not necessarily, but he did enjoy the wind against his face and the blur of landscape was like an obscure painting, something you'd think no one could keep up with. He seemed used to it, however, and was even looking for a sign of Sal on his way there. When he didn't run into her, he figured she had already made it. Before heading in himself, however, he did notice Knuckles and Espio. He came to a slowed stop, kicking up some loose soil behind him. "Oi, didn't expect to see you guys out this way." Turning his attention more towards the echidna, he smirked, "Ah, I remember seeing you here with Rouge last night. She didn't steal off of ya again, did she?" His tone was more or less to make him seem incompetent though a genuine question.

Not a Spoiler ...
Bunnie: ::Ohhh nooo. These three had already been irritating her, there was no way on Mobius she was going to take anything more from them. That smile she gave him was far too sweet, a definite warning sign. It only took two to guard at any given time, no?:: Well…if yer so eager t' know how ah might punish you… ::Hiding behind his friend would do absolutely no good. She'd have the offensive guard in hand rather quickly, seizing the front of his uniform and hauling him outside. With her strength, his chances of escape were next to nothing. At some point, she would pluck up two pieces of iron rebar used for building some of the sturdier structures here. Now, however, it would be pretzeled easily around his arms and legs. Not quite painfully, but certainly uncomfortably, and nothing short of a blowtorch or Bunnie herself would be able to free him. Her next step would be to relieve him entirely of his uniform and sling him over one shoulder, cheerfully hauling him into the deepest patch of poison nettle she could find (it certainly wouldn't bother her metal feet). The guard would be none-too-gently dumped right in the middle of it, and would swiftly find his fur did little to protect him from the burning, stinging needles. This wasn't anything that would kill him, of course, though for the next few days he may wish it had.:: …when ya manage t' crawl back outta this patch, an' give a proper apology, I'll let ya go. Have fun. ::Bunnie gave him a happy wave and stepped back out of the nasty little plants, moving to Tails as though nothing had happened, and leaving her mouthy victim to his painful roll through the nettle:: Hmm…? ::She stopped and knelt slowly to be able to look up at the kit. All annoyance at the guards was gone from her face, and she was nothing but gentle warmth once more…:: Well, sweetheart, lemmee ask ya this. What're th' chances of Sonic really, truly turnin' evil an' hurtin' alla us? …those're th' chances of Scourge really, truly turnin' good. Even if he dun' do anythin' now t' harm us…it won't last. Scourge does what's best fer Scourge an' that's it.

Rouge: The bat flittered back a bit as he turned, hovering with brow raised. “Everything all right, Shadow?” She changed direction with a lazy flick of one wing to keep pace with him, soaring calmly. At least the bat supplied some measure of shade for the black hedgehog, intentionally or no. “Any ideas? I don't suppose you could be convinced to stop to ask for directions....”

Antoine: He peeked over Sally's shoulder, ears falling back and nose wrinkling as he caught sight of the disaster within. If Scourge were Sonic's opposite personality, one would think he'd be neat. There was the flaw in that particular reasoning, he supposed. Ever fastidious, Antone wasn't crazy about going in there, but duty was duty, no? “Well. We shall take a look, zen?”

Knuckles: Letting his eyes shoot towards Sonic, but not making to turn his body quite yet. If he turned, that'd mean in some way that Sonic would have won. Which he didn't particularly want. He replied, "No. She said something about Shadow then ran off on me. I could care less really; I don't trust that bat as far as I can throw her." If he could ever get his hands on her without turning red of course; but that was a different story.

Espio: Espio turned however to meet the blue hedgehog with a smile and a nod. "It's good to see you as well Sonic. Running around as usual I see." Espio watched the small retaliation, raising a brow slightly as gold eyes glanced between the two. This was only natural that these two were like this. The chamelion knew this well.

Scourge: Scourge grumbled a bit in his semi-sleep when a squeal that could have been mistaken for a prepubescent girl cut through the air. The helpless guard was caught somewhere between crying like the little bitch he tried not to be, trying to escape, and trying to cop a feel down that low cut pink shirt she wore under that jacket. It was just ... right there! He couldn't muster up the courage required to take that bold attempt before his limbs were restrained fortunately. Goddess knows where she would have threw him if he succeeded. Being dropped into that patch of terrible plants made him scream. It just wasn't ... an entirely painful type of scream. Masochists. They lived in droves in Mobotropolis. Why else would someone live within walking distance of Robotropolis? Weirdos. The other guard kindly asked NICOLE if the replacement shift could be sent early because he may or may not have lost control of his bladder when Bunnie made a grab for him. His request was denied ... and there were no longer and nanites generating scenery in his general direction. Gross.

Shadow: "I suppose you see a place for us to do that? hmph." But Shadow did slow, and stop. He scanned the dunes on the horizon on either side of and before them, not sure exactly where anything could hide in such a large, empty space. Underground? Perhaps. Wouldn't someone have informed him? Probably not. A sigh, then, "I really don't sense anything. Whatever was here, is gone."

Sally: "I suppose.. but it smells a bit like ..." She started down the stairs, only to stop, stupefied and staring at the ground floor. She placed a hand over one eye, as if she had to steady her vision, then shook her head, continuing to descend. At the base of the stairs her hand fell to the curve of her waist, tail twiching irritably. "I think. Quite possibly. Scourge has done enough damage. Could be his evil scheme," she suggested dryly. The princess tentatively lifted a paper on the table, to be greeted with more crumbs, and the remnants of food in the kitchen was already drawing bugs.

Sonic: "I see." Sonic glanced towards Espio, flashing a friendly smile. "Yeah, well. I was about to head inside Freedom HQ to see if Scourge left anything interesting behind other than his own filth." He was reluctant to go in though considering the conditons. He wouldn't let that stop him, even though Sally was already inside, looking around. She may miss something or another. "You guys can come inside if you want." Though he wouldn't recommend it. Either way, he decided to delay no further and head through the hatch Sal had went through prior.

Bunnie: ::As promised, once the guard had crawled, rolled, or inchwormed his way out of the nettle patch, she would await an apology. He would, if he knew what was good for him. Even masochists had limits, and his next stop just might be the bottom of the lake if she didn't hear what she wanted to hear. Finding his torn clothes and making his way back to his friends…or to Dr. Quack…would be entirely his problem…::

Rouge: “Hm.” Rouge frowned, finally coming down to alight slightly behind Shadow and to his left, peering ahead with hand daintily shading her eyes. “Well, Shadow, I can't say a wild goose chase would surprise me, per se, but it seems kind of a waste. Do you have a way of picking up a trail, or does this whole thing just go back to step one?”

Antoine: Antoine grimaced and sneezed, shaking his head. “Certainly it is bad enough... alzough, perhaps not up to standards, it is his level in spirit.” He twitched an ear toward the entrance then, looking back up the stairs. Sonic, as he'd expected – even at slower speeds, those footfalls were fairly distinctive. “Well, ze less unpleasant 'edge'og is here. Perhaps to help?” He reached for one of the papers, gingerly unfolding it using his claws and only flinching away a little when a fat insect crawled rapidly out. Ugh. With a bit of willpower, he leaned forward to squint at the paper. Just a list of names, it seemed, but he wasn't ready to downplay anything just yet. So maybe he WAS paranoid - but didn't Scourge give him plenty of reason to be, all things considered?

Knuckles: Thinking of nothing better to do for the moment, Knuckles followed after Sonic down into the disgusting pit that was once their headquarters. Wrinkling his nose in disgust and irritation, he said quite suddenly, "It sounds like someone couldn't keep their hands out of their pants down here..."

Espio: Espio thought better of going down there, instead blending with the wall to watch out for anything that might come their way. It probably wouldn't be anything, but one could never be too careful. And anways this gave Espio the chance to think without too much interruption as he settled himself for guarding.

Scourge: Citing the awkward screams of a certain guard as the reason he reluctantly started to actually wake up. Flipping around on his back he noted that the prison spelled suspiciously like a substance that was quite foul. Freedom HQ smelled like a lot of things but it did not smell like bodily waste! Not that type of bodily waste, anyway. " Argh ... " His nose scrunched up a bit while he looked around; pinpointing the source of the disturbance. " Don't give me a reason to break outta here. I'll break out and mop it up myself. Probably won't go back in, though. " That much he hadn't decided. Now alarmed at the prospect of the prisoner breaking out for whatever reason the guard decided to briefly leave the hedgehog alone in search for a person to flag down right outside. Cleanup on aisle. Thanks. Meanwhile ... there was little of interest in the common rooms of Freedom HQ. One of the doors leading into the 'break rooms' in the back was open. Back in the early days of the war the Freedom Fighters had secondary bedrooms here for those long shifts keeping guard over the forests (or whenever they couldn't be assed to go back to Knothole). There were rooms for each of the original Freedom Fighters here. The first one, which was Sonic's, had its door opened because that was the place they found Scourge last time. It was the room that was used the most since the other members of the Surpression Squad thought it was 'creepy' sleeping in their alternate's rooms. Since Green only had about a minute or so to get ready for Sonic and Shadow's entrance he hadn't had time to grab everything of importance. The drawer of the nightstand beside Sonic's bed was partially open in particular. In that drawer were things ... that need not be mentioned or touched without a rubber glove. That wasn't what was important, or maybe it was? Not really. Wedged in the corner was an object that would have been visible without opening the drawer the entire way; a black leather bound book wild gold leaf trim. Given that any 'little black book' had to have some shamefully intimate secrets it had to be important!

Shadow: Shadow scoffed and shook his head. "There's nothing.. " Indeed there was nothing to be seen - he dared Rouge to prove him wrong. Perhaps a scorpion on the ground or a whirlwind... that pyramid back there.. but the striped hedgehog could honestly say he saw no purpose in keeping up this charade.

Bored eyes set their sights on his wrist, to the communicator. He held a button in, and without the formalities of ensuring someone could hear him clearly, he said, "There's nothing out here. Awaiting further orders." Removing his thumb from the button, he glanced over at Rouge and frowned. They should just leave.

Sally: "I.. guess.. let's start by looking through these papers," she gestured to the things stuffed beneath the furniture. "Yuck." She kicked a can loudly out of her way as she squatted before the couch, setting her bag on top. Sally collected several sheets of paper in her arms before sitting down and flipping through them. A familiar voice came to her attention and she looked towards the stairs. "Knuckles?"

Sonic: Sonic glanced back over his shoulder at the comment Knuckles made as the two started to split up. "Nice observation." He really didn't have to put words to the sights or smells, it was all gross enough as it is. Therefore, Sonic didn't really appreciate that, but started to check out the rooms, reluctant to touch anything. Apparently, Sally felt the same. "Hey, Sal." Sonic spoke up as if she had acknowledged him rather than the echidna. "Had a chance to find anything yet?" Green eyes surveyed the unkempt suroundings, not sure what to look first.

Bunnie: ::It had been an interesting morning. She really didn't need it to get any more interesting. She would get back to her daily chores then, though she never strayed too far from the prison…just in case::

Rouge: “I gotta say, you're right.” Shadow's eyes were sharper than Rouge's, of course, but the bat's keen ears weren't really picking anything up either. She waited for him to finish transmitting and then made some show of yawning, stretching her wings wide and her arms over her head in ways that did interesting things to that curvaceous silhouette. Not that Shadow had ever seemed impressed with these displays, but there were appearances to keep nevertheless. “Well then – let's go somewhere where there IS something going on.”

Antoine: “I am finding only lists, Princess,” Antoine offered quietly. “Names.” He wrinkled his nose again and then sneezed, almost more to clear his nose than anything – a canid's sense of smell wasn't always a blessing. He set the paper down in Sally's reach and then wandered a bit deeper into HQ, peering nervously around corners and into shadows. After a bit, though, even he had to admit there really seemed to be nothing there.

Tails: After those events with the guards and at the cell, Tails had wondered from Bunnie’s company and had headed back to his workshop. He kept playing the rabbot’s words in his mind. It was all true. Scourge cared for no one but himself. The chances of him turning to the side of heroic deeds were as slim as Sonic going evil and attempting to kill them all. If Scourge was up to something, he wouldn’t show any signs of an attack in front of their faces, but they were positive he was, without question, up to something. They just need some clues, right? The fox paced about his shop a moment. Thinking. “Hmm…” He paused, have a small idea, but maybe it wouldn’t help. He had a thought, that maybe, he could build a small mech. Nothing big, just a little spy bot maybe? He shrugged. Whether the decision to use it or not would come up didn’t really matter. It would give him something to do until something came up. So, he went back to his piles of metal and wires and got to work.

Shadow: As expected, Shadow turned away as the bat stretched. Since he got no immediate response from GUN, he nodded distractedly, trying to think of where to go from here. Rouge was no doubt in need of something to eat, and Shadow supposed he could go for a bite, as well. "Alright." He took off once more, this time with a village in mind.

Sally: "Oh," she hadn't realized Sonic was there, too, until he came around the stairs, "Good, you made it... We're just looking over these papers." Sally glanced back at the coyote as he spoke. "Same here," she collected the set Antoine left. "... Although I'm not sure what he needs with some of this. Unless it's just for his ego." Good or bad. Sally cocked her head back in disgust, pulling her chin to her chest as she looked up at one of the papers. "In any case, he has information on how we fight. This could be bad." The only reason she could think of for him to have this written down, was that this was shared information. There was certainly more than one person involved. Scourge didn't seem like a note-taker for his own good.

The princess stood, stacking the papers beside her kit. She walked over to the kitchen and glanced over the stack there before turning to Sonic's bedroom. "Sonic.. where was Scourge last night when you found him?"

Sonic: Well, he wasn't so worried about information gathered on his own moves, seeing as how the two were virtually the same. They were both capable of the same maneuvers though their style was drastically different. Only because a certain green hedgehog couldn't win unless he has some sort of trickery up his sleeve. Sonic was better than that. However, the general idea of what he had in mind was something to keep in mind if he had really been doing his research on the others as well. Sal was right, it could be bad; and he followed her, apparently still keeping his hands to himself. "Asleep." He grunted, eying his room with distaste. "In my room." Looking back at her, he asked, "Don't suppose you've checked in there yet?" Seemed like a good place if Scourge had claimed the area as his personal bedroom too.

Bunnie: ::Time here wore on. Bunnie eventually returned to the prison, partly to retrieve her tray and partly to make sure those damn fools hadn't started goofing around again. Too many things could go wrong in such a situation, after all. Upon finding the food untouched, she placed her hands on her hips and gave an exasperated sigh:: This aint no bed n' breakfast, Scourge. What th' hell you holdin' out for, a four-star steak? ::Ah well...as previously mentioned, it wasn't her job to make him eat...::

Rouge: Shadow always was one for constant conversation... only not. Loathe to walk through the sand, Rouge took off to fly after him instead, mirroring his movements as well as she could. He seemed to be moving with purpose now, at least. Then again, Shadow always acted as if he had a purpose, and would probably look serious and business like on a moonlit beachwalk. Ah well, it wasn't as if she had any ideas at the moment.

Antoine: To know how someone fought was the first step toward fighting them successfully... but Sally knew that, and he saw no reason to recite that aloud. Instead he turned to Sonic, nodding slowly. “Indeed. If anywhere zere is somet'ing....” He shrugged, heading toward Sonic's old room and peeking in around the doorjamb, trying to suppress the urge to hold his nose as he did.

Tails: Tails sat down in a chair, bored once more. He had finished the small spy-bot, two in fact, but he didn’t see a reason to use them. Everyone was present at any areas that needed investigation. Seems he wasn’t making much progress in anything today. He sighed, resting his head in a gloved palm, the same arm’s elbow leaning against the table next to him. Maybe he should just go and explore around and play today? After all, no one seemed to need him for anything at the moment. His bright blue eyes glanced at his new machines. He had a small tug in his thoughts to take one and to go and show it to one of his friends. Maybe they would find use for it? He thought it over… Well, there was a way he could test it out, and show his new device. First, he had to finish the remotes for them…

Scourge: Scourge was using a wired brush from one of his many pockets to smooth out his fur from a night of rough handling by the Freedom Fighters and guards in turn. There wasn't any place for him to actually bathe in here (and yes, he did have good hygene) unless he wanted to chance sitting in a sink so it was the best he could do. He might have to ask about the shower situation later. Looked like he had a visitor at the moment. The green hedgehog was currently slouched in an undignified position on the cell's bed; taking a wide stance with one knee on the bed and the other hanging over the side. He was using the brush to smooth out his manly chest hair when Bunnie went into bitch-mode. " That's food? " He raised a questionable brow when he looked down at the tray in question. " Looks like some shit you pulled out the bushes on the way over. I ani't eatin' it. " He huffed, ears lowering, but not completely flattening in the prescience of the lady he just insulted. " You want me to eat? Then go take your fine ass down to Uncle Chuck's and get me a Chili Dog. " His tone was reminiscent of a neglectful guy telling their girlfriend to fetch them a sammich. The group about to explore that bedroom was going to have an interesting journey, by the way. It seemed that the smell they were smelling stemmed from extensive use of the racecar bed by a number of parties. Scourge and Fiona ... a lot. They were probably going to have to burn that bed since no amount of cleaning would restore it to its former glory. The partically opened drawer beside the bed held a number of secrets. Some of them should have been kept secret. The aforementioned book was the only item of interest among the collection of thoroughly used sex toys packed in the drawer. Trying to move it might result in a few of the items inside falling out. Pictures ... of a few of the aforementioned Freedom Fighters at various stages of their lives. Sonic back when he had brown eyes. Bunnie before her upgrade. Amy before her dramatic transformation into an even more annoying fangirl. There were even a few of Sally looking quite pissed at having her picture taken when she was various shades of pink, black, and blonde following a chemical accident ...

Shadow: After some time (and too much for his liking despite his usual patience), they came upon a small town with a noisy market. Anything was better than nothing, he supposed, and purchased the first thing resembling food that the local made easy to buy. Whatever it was, wrapped in flatbread, it had a pleasant enough grilled flavor, and he ate it while eyeing Rouge to see if she was following his lead.

Sally: Not too far behind Antoine, Sally set foot into the room for the first time in ages, and gave a similar reaction to the coyote. The smell was just too vulgar to comment upon, and was best ignored. Or avoided, if you had the option. The open drawer was the first thing that caught her eye, and, looking into it, the last thing she wanted to catch her eye. This was just too much. But there was an unfamiliar book among the unmentionables that drew her in. "One second." The chipmunk jogged out of the room, only to return seconds later with gloves in hand. She slipped them on and pulled the drawer open completely. Even with the gloves on, she couldn't bring herself to quite touch the hedgehog's playthings, and nudged them as quickly as possible with her little finger before retrieving the book.

A few of photos did fall out, and Sally leaned over to collect them, hesitating briefly to see what they were. Pinky out, from where she moved the other contents of the dresser, she opened the book.

Sonic: That strong musky scent had to be the worst and more evident in his room. He looked towards his bed in disgust, not even wanting to imagine what Scourge had been doing, though he pretty much knew already. He looked away from it resentfully to watch Sal who had apparently noticed something in the drawer. Stepping closer to her, Blue practically gawked at the unmentionables inside, waiting patiently for the chipmunk to return. He almost didn't notice the book due to the other vulgar contents that grabbed his attention, but he did; and Sal got the right idea. Dawned with gloves, she was able to pull it out. He didn't think Scourge was such a sex fiend before. He got an idea from his stunt last night but geez. Sonic noticed a couple of the pictures she dropped before she gathered them up in her hand, surprised at the old photos he was able to obtain. He really did do his research; and all of this seemed a little too much trouble for Scourge to have decided to back out and turn over a new leaf. Not that he had ever believed that yet anyway.

Bunnie: ::A quick move with a hook made for just this purpose would retrieve the tray easily enough. Scourge's bad behavior was to be expected, so it hardly ruffled her fur. She only took the uneaten food with a sigh, shaking her head:: Tell ya what, Greenie…when Sonic gets back, I'll send 'im your way. If he's feelin' generous enough, ah'm sure he might be able t' spare some a' -his- grub…but I aint goin' shoppin' for ya if what we eat aint good 'nuff for ya. So best pucker up them lips fer some asskissin' a' th' Blue persuasion if y' want chilidogs. ::They both loved chili dogs, and Sonic no doubt had plenty of the ingredients in his home…if he felt like sharing, then wonderful…but she'd be damned if she was going to fetch takeout for this guy…::

Rouge: “Now this I can get behind!” Rouge came down to the street with an almost cheery click of heels and a gratuitous jiggle – all the better to distract her targeted merchant, a fruit vendor who with a bit of sweet talk and calculated posing would part with his wares for something significantly lower than the going rate. Prizes in hand, she would return to Shadow's side as she nibbled daintily at some juicy item or another, being sure to casually lick juice from her fingers as she noticed she still had an audience. “Mm, not bad. Almost like a vacation aside from the annoying amounts of sand.”

Antoine: Antoine clung close to Sally's side, making a small sound of disgust as he briefly eyed the contents of the drawer. The Princess had the right idea with the gloves – he found himself wanting a pair of his own just for being in here. Well, it was a little late now, and the best he could do was avoid contact where he could and keep promising himself a shower. The kind where the steam alone might singe his fur off at this rate. He peered over her shoulder at the book for now, frowning. “What is zis?”

Tails: Tails pressed a few buttons on the thin, metal controller. He smiled as the small mech moved back and forth across the floor. It was working pretty well. The reception on the screen however, was a little fuzzy, but worked well enough. He made a few last adjustments and was ready to see how far this little machine could go. He took it outside and made it move around a bit. Now to test it with sound. He pressed another button, and drove the mech with the control towards the entrance that led to the cells. It passed any outside guards easily, due to its size and how it simply went around behind them. He didn’t order it to go inside though. It had a sonic sound programming, which let it pick up any faint noises and voices depending on the frequency. So it simply listening in at the door for the faintest of voices to hear what could be going on down there…

Scourge: " Green. " Not Greenie. Not the Green Goblin-hog. Not the Jolly Green Giant. Not any other 'cute' variation of his nickname other then the one that he accepted being called prior. One would think that he would be upset at being told to kiss the blue hedgehog's ass to get what he wanted. He looked to be actually considering the possibility judging by the way he slipped a finger on the hand holding the brush under his chin in consideration. " I tried that last night an' he freaked out. " Just thought ... he'd throw that out there. " Thinkin' it's because his ass is sensitive from being kicked so much. " Bunnie might not ... have meant ... kissing his ass in a literal sense but that's how he interpreted it. Even if she meant what she said in the physical sense she may soon regret it. " Might work better if I tried the other side. " Green pondered aloud just in time for the little robot that flew in to so surveillance on him to overhear. Yeah. So much for protecting Tails from his influence. Scourge looked towards Bunnie with the kind of inquiring stare that should have told her nothing good could come from what he was about to say. " You ever sucked Blue's dick? 'm going to need a few pointers ... " Whether or not the contents of the book were more interesting then the conversation happening in the cell block was debatable. The book seemed to be quartered off in sections that were separated by a folded piece of paper. In the first section were notes about jobs he did as a mercenary; protecting 'the client' during the second coming of Enerjak, a bounty paid out for capturing Knuckles, a split reward for retrieving Rouge's Warp Ring when she turned traitorous. All of that was old news. Separated by a blank page was a series of new entries along with the high amount paid for finishing. The state of the job was indicated by either an X for being finished or an O for being open. He went to the ARK a few weeks ago for an espionage mission that's been completed. A few days later he went to Robotropolis to purposely be attacked so a few of Eggman's badniks could be retrieved. Finished. Then he was sent to Angel Island to do a status report on the rebuilding of the Master Emerald shrine. Also finished. Just a few days ago he was commissioned to begin gathering data about various people in Mobotropolis. An X and then an O indicated that the original job was extended. The last entry in that section was 'Retrieve' with the last letter trailing off the page. It looked like he was forced to cut it short in the interest of time. The amount for the job (almost always at least a five digit number) was an astonishing '500k each', but what had he been commissioned to collect?

Sally: After thumbing through the obvious (aside from raising her brow at some of the numbers), she took the time to read the last few pages. Well, it explained some of the things they found, but it also left some things open for question. "Sonic, look at this... the last entry..." she extended a hand, holding the page open with a forefinger for him to either read or take from her. "It's possible he's trying to collect the Chaos Emeralds, but my question is, who's paying him?"

Shadow: "Hm," Shadow answered absently, ordering a second before he started delving deeper into the crowd. Once he got into the midst of the noise and bustle, he spotted what everyone was crowding together over. "Looks like your kind of people," he smirked at Rouge, as the surrounding Mobians pushed to get closer to what looked like a jewelry stand. He supposed he could wait for a moment if she wanted to check it out. Must be something nice up there if everyone was in a hurry to see.

Sonic: Sonic had peered over her shoulder to try to keep track over what she was looking through and readily looked over what she had intended for him to. A good question. He only wished he could answer it. "I don't know, what do you think, Antoi--Oh, nevermind." He teased, brushing his company off before turning his attention to Sal. "Seems somebody needs to be interrogated." He could make a couple of guesses but they wouldn't know for sure. If Scourge wants to go along with his charade, he shouldn't have anything to hide either. But there were quite a few things they needed to discuss with him though how much they could trust him was debatebale of course. Blue only knew as much as Sally, unfortunately.

Bunnie: ::Well of -course- Sonic had never gotten so far with her, but what did Scourge need to know either way? Bunnie couldn't help but find the idea of tasering him through the bars to be just a bit tempting…however, in the end, she would give him nothing more but a raised eyebrow for such…cheeky questions. As for the name…she could call him far worse, and hardly cared what he thought.:: Now now, we a'reddy discussed how ladies needa keep their secrets…

Rouge: Rouge brightened at the sight of the jewelry stand, stretching up on tiptoe to see what the fuss was about. It was possible this bumpkins were getting excited over cut glass or something, sure, but there was still the possibility of something exciting, something wonderful, something rare. “Interesting indeed! I wonder what everyone's so worked up over? Here, hold this.” She passed the remains of her fruit to Shadow and took off without waiting for a response, fluttering to an awning from which she could easily peer down at the stand, eyes bright and ears twitching curiously.

Antoine: Antoine favored Sonic with a flat look, but the truth was, he was so used to such behavior from the blue hedgehog that the look was more ritual than anything. He turned his attention to the book then, giving a low murmur of amazement at the recorded sums. “Interrogated indeed. I believe Bunnie is still zere – shall I be contacting her?”
