Overview

This forum will be used for group roleplays not related to Mirrored Mobius or the Weekend Socials. Since this is considered a different entity different Rules will be used for this forum. These Guidelines are outlined below. PLEASE follow the Guidelines when creating new Threads for this Forum. Minor editing can be done to bring some Topics up to snuff. Breaking major rules will result in your Thread being closed. You may appeal the premature closing of a Thread by PMing either a Founder or Moderator.

Rules on Content

1. All Threads in this Forum must be rated R or less. Since this is a public forum NO sex scenes are allowed to be played out. It may be hinted or even implied but you must skip the actual act and go to the next scene. If you must you can do these scenes by PM or IM. If we can see it then it's a violation of this rule. This also means that roleplays that revolve exclusively around sex are not allowed to be posted here.

2. You may have Roleplays for non-Sonic series in this forum. It is suggested, not required, that you provide a link with information on your series of choice in your topic's introductory post so other members can learn more about it. You may also have roleplays based on other Sonic Verses in this forum. Games, AoSTH, pure SatAM, Sonic X (ick), whatever you'd like.

3. Topics that contain Yaoi or Yuri must clearly be marked. As not to offend some of our more sensitive members there will be a clear written warning on Topics that contain suggestive material. There will also be a Ratings System (G, PG, PG-13, and R) applied to Topics here for safe and happy viewing.

4. Please keep one Thread per Roleplay. All but the most exceptional cases will be small enough to be housed in one nice neat thread. If you think that your Thread's grown too big or otherwise needs another spin-off Thread made please PM a Founder or Moderator. Normally you do not have to ask permission to make a new Thread here but this is the lone exception. We do it this way so the Forum isn't dominated by roleplay threads of a particular type.

Guidelines to Creating a Thread

You do NOT have to PM a Moderator or Administrator to ask permission to open a Thread anywhere in the General Roleplay section. You are allowed to make as many Threads as you like here long as you adhere to the Rules above and the Guidelines to creating a Thread below.

Instructions:

1. Click on the " New Topic " Button. Go ahead. Do it.

2. The name of your Roleplay should be the Topic Title.

3. The Topic Description of your Roleplay should contain the following:

- Whether or not there's Yaoi or Yuri content. (If there isn't any you don't have to say so.)

- The Rating of the Roleplay: G, PG, PG-13, or R.
More information on these ratings can be found here.

- Whether the Roleplay is " Open " or " Closed " to new participants.
Members can only join " Open " roleplays of course.

An example Title + Description would be ...

" Things Go on Here "
Yuri. PG-13. Open.

4. Next you'll need a Introductory Post. This will always be the first post of your Thread and may be as elaborate or simple as the creator of the roleplay wants it to be. There are two basic that must be included in your introduction post:

- A summary of what the roleplay is about.
- A list of Active Characters in the roleplay.

Anything else that you would like to include in your opening post is completely up to you but those two are REQUIRED. Your summary may be as simple as 2-3 sentences or as complex as several paragraphs. As long as it gets the point across there is no minimal requirement.

It is understandable that there may be no characters taken when you first open a Thread. As a Thread goes on it may be a good idea to keep track of which characters are involved and who's roleplaying what character as they may be playing someone different from their usual character.

5. Now you can Post your Topic.

Rules on Joining a Thread

There is only one Rule and it's pretty straightforward. If you wish to join an " Open " Thread you only need to ask the Topic Creator's permission before posting. The most convenient way to do this is either by PM (PM the Topic Creator) or IM (IM the Topic Creator). If the Topic Creator has specified it in their Introductory Post you may also ask for Permission on the Thread itself.

If the Thread Creator declines to let you join there is little that can be done if they give a legitimate reason. It's the Thread Creator's decision. Do not PM a Moderator demanding that a particular Topic Creator allows you to post in their roleplay when they declined to let you do so. Unless you provide substantial evidence that you've been outright discriminated against there is little we can do for you.

Moderation of Roleplay Threads

In this Forum the Thread Creator has much more say in what happens in the roleplay then they do in Mirrored Mobius or even the Weekend Socials. They are in control of the events that happen in their own game thus can allow / deny things to happen as they see fit. In recognition of this Thread Creators can set up their own Ground Rules in a Thread as long as they don't break any of the Content Rules listed above. If a member breaks on of your own Thread's rules then you have permission to discipline them accordingly or even ask them to leave the Thread for being disruptive to the game.

As Thread Creator you're also given the right to control who can and cannot post in your Thread if you please. If you decline to let a particular member post in your Thread you must give a legitimate reason why. Saying you " don't like " a member (or their character) is not a good enough reason. Suggesting that their character would not be well suited for the environment is, though. Try and work out an arrangement that would work with the member if you can. We want to keep outright rejections to joining to a minimal if possible.

Asking for a Founder's / Moderator's help. You're free to ask a Moderator or Founder for help cleaning up your Thread whether it be for deleting or editing another member's post, deleting posts, or asking a particular member to leave the thread on your request.

Asking for a Thread to be closed. If for one reason or another you want your roleplay to be closed PM a Moderator. We will close it without question.

Happy Playing.
