Gods, I'm Goregous...

"I've never met a god before. Sorry for offending you with all this apologising..." He muttered, before realising exactly what he said. He collapsed into a giggle fit, quite unsuitable to such a regal looking 'god'. "My goodness! S-sor- no, no more! You're nature just asks for apologies and grovelling at every turn. Are all gods as intimidating as you? I might just want to stay in the Second Circle, then. No, I did not mean to say intimidating, rather more like royal. Over-powered. A big mass of oy-vay. Right?"

He sat up, and tried to make himself presentable, a difficulty considering all the flowers and leaves in his hair, not to mention the fact that his skirt was going everywhere. (O_o) Trying to refrain from giggling again. "I'll stop apologising if you stop flattering me. Deal? Anyway, nice to meet you Solaris." He stuck his hand out, a rather Dimitri thing to do.

"Considering that the plans will proceed flawlessly, and the design of the Siphon is impecable... I guess I'll see you again next week. Who knows, you might get called back in soul form in your sleep. Huh? Then you really will see your friend again, after... what... 2400 years? Yeah... I guess... you two will have some catching up to do..."

He chuckled to himself. "Heck, I might stick around for that one. Let him deal with the skirt though..."

The sun god let himself roll onto the ground and lay within the grass and flowers, grinning widely up at the fumbling echinda 'god'. His tail wagging...showing his full entertainment at this point. "I wouldn't call this intimidating...but I tend to have that effect." his grin just widening at how foolish Dimitri was acting compared to how Enerjak was. "I'll try to keep your deal." snickering in a playful manner.

"You must be embarrassing him, poor 'Jaky. But this is highly entertaining for myself." his hands fingering at blades of grass as he spoke, golden eyes widened with energy. "But this plan of yours with some Siphon should work." answering even though he didn't know for sure how that siphon even worked. "I think it's been 2400 years...maybe a little more or a little less. Far to long."

Breaking out into a laugh at the mention of the skirt again. "Normally...around 'friends'-" giving the 'friends' word a slightly odd tone. "He just takes it off..." however Solaris' eyes shone with mischievousness and with his pure playful nature.

Dimitri doubted that, veeeery much. Why? Maybe the evil, mischievous gleam in Solaris' eyes. Maybe the semi-pervy grin stretched across his face. He didn't trust him for a second.

Not that he was adverse to losing the skirt. It wasn't as if it would be bad, after all. Just give the other god - ahem - the god a chance to see more of his skin, and it was bad enough already looking so much like a male strip-tease artist or hooker.

"Is that so??" He smirked the same grin he had seen Edmund use once. It was a very willful, daring grin. "I don't know quite sure... can I trust you? I am in such a dire position... You are certain he was so free with his friends? This skirt certainly is tight..."

Maybe he was playing it a bit too far, but once again, he lived for those strange expressions. Being so serious all the time alloted him for some horrid zaniness. The god did indeed have the strangest expression yet. Such drastic change!

Suddenly another echidna came to meet the two. This one had a dark red furr, and grey boots, that caused clanking sound when he walked. Otherwise he had more or less just as identical clothes as everyne else here, what was not very much.

"Interesting. You are him, but at the same time, you are not him. How can this be? I saw you in my visions, you live in distant future, some time before the time of blood and despair. Or is this just dream? Am I just echo from the past, like everyone else here? Tell me, why are you here?"

Echidna looked at Dimitri curiously, and tried to understand what was happening, and more or less completely ignored smiling Solaris.

In the present time, bad things where about to happen. One of echidnas here was coming closer where Dimitri was, and did not have good intentions. He looked like everyone else here, but was secretly carrying a weapon. This has been going enough long already, it was time to stop this foolishness. Assassin had to walk slowly to avoid attentiont, but he was determined to succeed in his mission. Glory to the Secret God!

Solaris' eyes would soon narrow while his ears folded against his head, scoffing while he rolled back onto his stomach and pushed himself to sit up. Gazing over to the one who had happened to walk over to them. His muzzle wrinkling up with some irritation.

"Just the person to ruin the mood of things." speaking with a silent bitterness as he watched the echidna that had approached them. The playful grin washed away within seconds of the echidna's words, his eyes narrowing as they now shone with a deadly glare. "This is a dream, even you should know that, Ista. Not to hard to tell the difference of a true time warp and of a summoning."

Although probably wouldn't listen to the sun god...not with the sudden aggressiveness that was being shown towards the god that made his entrance.

Dimitri wasn't sure what to think. Finally he had thought he had figured it all out, that there was an anomaly of a summoned god, but now, there was another, and one that had no idea what was going on?

If he thought his rambling was bad, then this... Ista fellow was almost unable to be followed. Many contradictions and questions.

There was a discernable tension between Solaris, and this new god. Did they have history? While he was unwilling to tell his name to this new stranger, and bridge that gap of trust to someone Solaris felt uncomfortable with, he was certainly curious. Curious enough to talk face to face with another god, who granted him no permission. He was getting more bold.

"What are you talking about?" He took his hands off his skirt. "A time of blood and despair coming? You have visions of the future? What sort of blood and despair?" He thought about his possible answers to the questions that this Ista person asked.

"This appeared to be my dream... but I don't think I'm controlling it, or the person who brought you here. I don't think I have that kind of power. It's doubtful that you're part of the memory, since you are talking to me right now, kind of strangely, if you thought I was Enos-Jakosha. This means you know that I'm not... I'm not quite sure why I'm here, or why you two are, or why I'm dreaming of the distant past... but there's probably a purpose, or lesson."

He laughed self-consciously. "I do hope I learn it soon. I don't want to remain asleep forever!"

Still, all he was thinking was: 'Stupid skirt!!!'

Ista listened explanations of another two, and then just nodded. Also, his form was somewhat blurry on edges, like god was not here completely.

"Yes, I see. This is just a dream, dream from Enos-Jakosha, and we were both called here, since of all gods, we were closest to him. I don't know why Solaris is here, but I know what I am supposed to do."

Suddenly he turned around and looked at their surroundings. If all gods who had a close contact with Enos had been summoned, there should had been a third one here. But Ista could not sense anyone, altough that might be because he was in mortal's dream. He said to Solaris first.

"Solaris, you know I have always been...two-sided. I do not from what time you are, but believe me, you don't know even half what is going around here, or what will be."

After saying this and then gesturing another god to be silent for moment, Ista turned back to Dimitri, and said:

"Yes, it was my prophecy. Enos-Jakosha's awakening will be a first sign of time of blood and despair, when world itself will be screaming in pain. That was what I saw all those years ago when we were on that river, and that is what I saw again in his trial."

A bit put off at being told in a sense he shouldn't be there and it made the fur along his back stand on end and flash a deadly look to Ista, golden eyes seeming to burn with a hidden flame. "I'm likely here to be sure you don't go over board with your dark translations of the future." uttering in a foul tone, not to caring that he was simply pushed aside like he had been by Ista.

"I'd rather not know what has been happening around, I have my own problems. All I know is he will be brought back and for as far as I know 'Jaky has reason to be angry." his ears were pinned up while his fur remained bristled up. Merely snorting at the other as he motioned for him to be silent.

"You have the power to see into the future, but it couldn't be as dismal as you say it is. It has a funny way of changing." being Solaris..he couldn't help but butt in when it came to time. Being one that could traverse it with ease. Now he fell silent for Ista to continue with whatever he happened to need to say. Showing no care that Ista had a reason to being summoned...Solaris not so much.

Dimitri couldn't help but think god fight, because that was very well looking like it would turn out to be. They definitely had history. There was no other reason why they would act like that otherwise.

Both seemed pretty proficient with the future/past concept, which was fine by his standards, to save him all the time explaining things to them. He didn't understand why they didn't just, team up or something. It would make more sense.

Admittedly, though, he was listening to this Ista person. He was giving slightly more specific readings than 'the future is malleable'. "Doom and gloom, huh? So, I shouldn't let him out, but then the Order thinks I should, and it's going to happen anyway because you saw it, but it might not happen because the future is uncertain? That sounds gruesome. Tell me more? I appreciate the heads up."

He shot a look to Solaris, half apologitic, the other half almost mischievous. Maybe he was BSing it all the way, to get on their good sides? It wasn't good to anger a god, after all...

Ista listened them both, ignored Solaris once again, and then continued explaining Dimitri:

"I never said that you should not awaken him, did I? Enos-Jakosha would be coming back sooner or later anyway, it is invetitable. That prophecy is just meant to help you and Enos to know what you should do after it. But I can't tell you it here, you have to find it on your time, I am rather sure it has endured intact all these centuries. Just try to find Prophecy of Asura-Ista, if you are some sort of worshipper of Enos, you probably have access to it."

Suddenly Ista looked again around them, and then cursed aloud. Dimitri would not have a clue, but both gods felt it. Someone else was coming into this dream, someone uninvited. Whoever it was, he had not still found crack to come inside, but would probably then try to use brute force, and that could cause serious damage to at least the one who was creating this dream, aka Dimitri.

"This is not good, I thought I would had little more time."

His muzzle wrinkled even more as he was just ignored like that yet again by Ista, keeping himself from lashing out at the other. Listening not so content like but the moment he felt something..off did he stand. Easily feeling someone trying to barge into their meeting...but he could do nothing in the outside world. For reasons he continued to leave unanswered.

"Obviously not, Ista." growling out at the other. "If 'Jaky is to be brought back into the living world you're the only one who can stop it. Otherwise we'll have to let in this 'guest'." not to sure himself of who it could be nor too willing to let them in.

Whoever was trying to get in cannot know that they were aware of what was happening. Letting Dimitri wake might be the worst idea they could come up with, the invader would no doubt attack Dimitri.

"Look for the Prophecy of Asura-Ista. Got it. Wait, I think I have heard of you before. Aren't you supposed to be the depressing god?" Dimitri recieved a look that he was certain took years off his life.

He frowned for a second in thought. "Come to think of it, I believe I have seen a book like that before... I just don't remember where..." Another moment, and then he groaned in annoyance. "No, it's not a book, it's a scroll. All the prophecies and sayings that... you ever made, in one neat, pocket-sized manual. The only problem is, like Enos' life-story, it's locked up tight in the posession of the museum. Do you think the gods will have mercy on a poor soul like me if I... uh, lift it from their hands?"

He laughed once. "It's not so much the theft that is an issue, but getting past the tight security. I'll have to ask my brother... on..." He noticed the concerned expressions on both of the gods' faces, and quit talking to listen to them. "What's wrong? What 'guest' are you talking about?" Worry from a god was never a good thing...

Ista just nodded to Dimitri, and then said:
"Well, those writings are in sense my property, so I think you can take them with my blessing? And I'm afraid there is yet another god who wants to meet you, or then kill you. I should not have come here, he followed me here. He is the only god who managed to survive in one piece through all these ages, when Enos-Jakosha and even Solaris were broken into pieces. And he does not want anyone else to come into his playground."

Echidna thought for moment, trying to figure out a way how this mortal who clearly had some sort of connetion to his old friend, could survive this encounter. Ista turned towards Dimitri again, and then quickly said.

"We don't have too much time, ask what you must, and I try to answer before he gets in."

Solaris would only flinch and growl at the other. "I was not broken....." huffing, though suspecting it was a mention of his own future. He wasn't broken...not yet. He's always been two entities. Twins. God of day and god of night and whatever other title went with them. "You always mistaken that I'm two entities, Ista." scoffing before wings of golden energy sparked to life upon the god's back. "I just happen to be in overlander hands." he spoke that in a hushed tone and more of a growl to himself. Casting Ista a deadly glare.

Ears pinned up to keep his attention up. "If the god enters I can distract him...maybe this is why I was brought here, Ista?" frowning at the other as he stepped away from them both. To act more of a body guard for them, in order for the two to finish speaking. For whatever questions Dimitri happened to have will be answered.

Dimitri wasn't one to hide behind other's fists. That was Edmund's job. However, if the gods were nervous about this, then it was nothing within his range of handling. It would be better off for the reincarnated soul in him if he just hid this out.

"Questions later! Only one for now - if only one fragment of your god friend is awake, will I be able to get back here? If so, I can ask you later. Where's the best place to hide? What kind of onslaught is this?"

Technically, only the first one counted, since the rest was to be necessary information for tactics and continuation of existence. Dimitri wasn't even sure if he was the target, if he would be wounded, killed, or just talked to again... but with the expressions on the others' faces, it was probably not some sort of leprechaun with a plate of cookies. Probably. You never knew with gods...

He ducked behind an arbor, and began to look for a sufficient hiding spot. If only this was a proper dream, and not an almost perfect memory. Where would gods hide, anyway?

Ista actually nodded at Solaris, and then said hastily to Dimitri:

"No you won't have chance to meet me again, he will not allow me to come back anymore. And you can't really hide from him, no mortal can. Best you can do is to awaken Enos-Jakosha as soon as possible, he can't do much anything against gods, he can't break them so easily. You just need to..."

Solaris probably felt it. Intruder tried to get in first with brute force, but then gave up that approach, and mor or less disappeared. At the same time, black smoke started covering Ista, who did not manage to do more than just utter few curses, before disappearing completely under darkness.

After black mist disappeared, there where Ista had been, was another god. This one was also echidna, but only barely. It was wearing dark robes and with iron mask, and only indication of it's species were dreadlocsk that could be seen between it's mask and hood. It's hands were covered in bandages, and it had also had almost same kind of boots as Ista had, expect that these where black, with skull decorations. And also, they were apparently made of iron. It looked around little, and then noticed both Solaris and Dimitri.

"Solaris? Great, more forgotten memories from the past, step aside, I want to talk with that pathetic sack of flesh."

It was strange. This god just welt somehow...wrong. Just looking at it, made looker feel sick. It did not emit same kind of aura of pure power that Iblis did, and not even menacing aura like Mephiles, but instead it just felt completely wrong, like it would not belong here, or anywhere else at all. Looking at it and listening it's voice gave same sort of feeling, that young child could have when getting lost in completely dark cave, and then being alone there for days.

His ears jerked to where Ista had vanished and swiftly moved between the intruder and Dimitri, his eyes narrowing. Glaring darkly at the...god? What was this? It felt...wrong, very wrong. More like a god having turned into a demon, twisted it's own body into something else. Solaris' wings spanning open to keep the god from eyeing out Dimitri.

How it had addressed Enos/Dimitri definitely struck a nerve, the god's body briefly sparking with raw power,"You will not speak of my friend as such!" even if Dimitri wasn't Enerjak yet, Solaris still saw him as the friend he had all those years ago. "Leave to where ever you had come from."

Within Solaris' hand did a intricate blade seem to 'form'. Glowing softly and the blade flickered with flame. "Now leave." a hefty demand from the sun god...but more of a warning for the moment, he will fight if he had to. Having seen Enos go through enough pain. Not intending on Enerjak's reincarnated self to go through more.

Dimitri heard the talking, and then a distinct new voice, where Ista's stopped. It chilled him to his bones. He glanced over to see a frightening god in the place of Ista. Skulls, and shreds... he looked like the dead. And what sort of god hid his face? Not a good one... Great, this god wanted him too. Wasn't he Mr. Popular tonight....

He looked around for a weapon of any kind, and grabbed a rock, before realising that the entire idea was ludicrous. How could a rock do any damage? He let it fall from his fingertips. Dimitri felt so useless. On Angel Island, he was a competent and capable fighter. Among the gods on the Fourth Circle, he was bait. This whole thing was stupid.

He watched in the bushes to see what was going on. No sign of Ista. Bad. Solaris had a weapon. That was good. He just hoped this would all go away so he could get back to real life and his ice cream...

Dimitri hugged his knees, not in fear, but in concentration. This was his dream, and it was doubtful that this had happened in the past. He should be able to warp things. He should be able to control this...

'You can always wish him away...' the little voice in his head told him. Dimitri recognized him as the id voice, almost ever-present. 'If this is a dream, if you are inhabiting Enos-Jakosha's form, then you should be able to borrow his powers, no? You don't want to look cowardly, do you? Not like those pathetic gods in the Council who just couldn't take a deviant, hmmm? Aren't you angry? Stand up and fight...' He clenched his fist.

Dark god just laughed mockingly at Solaris, and then said:
"Blade? You think you can fight me here? In this dream? It does not matter who we are outside, all that matters, is what we can do inside our mind. You are sun god or at least memory of one, you can destroy cities in real world, but here, you are nothing! This place is my territory!"

Echidna just started walking towards Dimitri, and did not care if Solaris would hit it. If sun god would do it, blade would just pass right through cloaked figure. Dark god continued walking towards Dimitri, laughing some more.

"Echo of forgotten god and mortal can't hurt me. All that you can do, is just give up and despair! Time of blood and misery will come, and there won't be any god alive to stop it."

When the darker god proceeded over he indeed...attempted to strike him down, blinking as the blade simply passed through it. A shudder going through him as his eyes widened and looking to the god. Baffled by what just happened...he indeed had no power here, Dimitri however did. This was his mind...

All Solaris could do...was...really nothing. Moving in the way of the two again while breathing out a warning hiss. "I said leave." his muzzle wrinkling up in unnerved anger. Dimitri, awaken from you slumber or force out this intruder...I can do nothing. This is your mind. Solaris seeming to be...speaking to Dimitri, mental bond almost. But it was temporary and to be used as communication.

"I'm not just a memory here." hissing, but it was an empty threat. This wasn't the grounds he was used to fighting on, nor has he ever. His physical body is also weakened...an in return so was his mind. He can do...nothing. Only hope that Dimitri and whatever part of Enos-Jakosha the mortal contained would help.

"...You're tall." Dimitri stared up at the gothic god, half in fear, and half in admiration. Solaris' warning buzzed in his mind. It was a strange feeling.

'Forget your wide-eyed fears. Stand, and I will direct you. In these shades of memory, you have control. You merely require discipline. Stand up, or you will die!' He was shocked into awareness.

Dimitri's legs did not shake, but he was still wobbly rising from the ground. He wasn't doing this alone. That little voice seemed to be in power, but to good effect. His other fist clamped down, and the conscience-voice vocalized its support.

He met eye to eye with the god facing him. "...I may be wearing a skirt right now, but I don't think you have the right to be here, or to mess with things like this. Nor do I think I want to hear what you have to say. Ista warned me of this despair, and now I see what's bringing it about."

Dimitri took a step forward, his eyes now muddled and dark. "I am not giving up. I am not surrendering, or laying down my fists. You might be able to beat me in real life, but this is my dream. And when you're messing with my head, you must realise this is my battleground."

He pushed a hand against the cold mask. "And you're wrong about us! I will be back! I will do whatever it takes to return, no matter how many people I have to kill, no matter who stands in my way! I've waited a long time for this and I don't have much more patience! So get out of our way, before we destroy you!!"

There was an almost sadistic gleam in his eyes, and an almost imperceptible deepening of his voice. One thing was certain... Dimitri certainly wasn't in control anymore. And the voice meant business.

Dark god did not even react when Solaris came to his way again, and just walked straight through sun god, which was not a very pleasant experience. It was pretty much like being drowning in pure misery and sadness. Pure despair was overwhelming, for just a moment, you felt that everything has hopeless, everyone you cared about were dead, everything you knew was destroyed, and that you had no other choise than stay in dark void forever, being haunted by tortured ghosts of everyone you ever loved, and who had died because of you. This sensation was enough to kill mortal, and even god could not just ignore it.

Cloaked figure paid no more attention to Solaris, and just came closer Dimitri. Then when mortal suddenly came closer, dark god just stopped, almost like amused by futile resistance it's prey were trying. When probably Enerjak said what he had to say to dark echidna, metal mask just altered itself into wicked smile, and two black spheres of void that were god's eyes, started staring at Dimitri, who to dark god's surprise, did not even blink.

"Yes, that is more like it! That is more like Enos-Jakosha who I knew! But sadly, just bravado is just that. Yes, this is your dream, but sadly none of that really matters. You are just a weak mortal right now, and no mortal can beat me in battle of wills. And I see it in you, in your soul. You still have regrets. You still have sadness in your heart, and also anger. No one who has that much pure spite in himself, can't defeat me. You are weak, and you will die here!"

When masked god talked, it's voice was almost captivating. It made you feel, that it was right, there was no hope of victory, and that everything was over. It made you want to just give up, and stop painful fighting. Why cause more reasons to be in despair? Why not just stop, and go to sweet oblivion, where nothing mattered?

When the dark god just...passed through him his body froze up at the sensation of despair. Or something. Hard to explain just what he was feeling for that split moment, taking in quick sharp breaths as he just stood there frozen but his grip remained on the blade, even with the surge of emotions. Many conflicting emotions. By far one of the most horrible experiences that Solaris would have to go through.

But when 'Enerjak' spoke, he could tell the difference between the mortal and the god. This was the god speaking this time, was enough to snap Solaris out of the horror he had just experienced. Shaking still as he turned and glared to the dark god as his grip tightened upon the blade. Eyes narrowing at the 'demon'. "He's both mortal and god." breathing out in a small hiss, hardly out of the fight yet. Even if there was none to be had for himself. Although maybe, just maybe his own will would be enough to drag out the dark creature before them. "Don't think you can beat the will of both a god and a bright Echidna mortal.....and my own will, demon." this thing didn't deserve the title of 'god', this thing was more of a demon.

Striking forwards then with his own blade...trying his best to put his own will into it. Only hoping that it would make this demon think twice of just ignoring the sun god. He wanted to try and defend his friend as best he could....

"If it wasn't for my own will I'd be long dead, demon." Golden eyes shining with a flared up hatred and anger.

"Yes... you are correct. I am full of anger, rage, regrets... These emotions, roiling and festering inside of me, for 2400 years... One would think they be self-destructive, but you see, I never blamed anything on myself. I've never had difficulty sleeping for thinking of mistakes or losses. I think of revenge."

His grip tightened on the mask. "I've spent my time thinking what I would do, upon my return. Such delicious thoughts. I've spent time thinking about your stupid, inevitable prophecies. I've spent time thinking up paths to destruction, and new, agonizing ways to destroy. Forget the niceties."

He pushed the 'other' god away, and then swept back, into a fighting position. "If you get in our way, we will make you pay. We will defeat you. Our rage fuels our power. Our thoughts of revenge give us strength. My purpose lends me sadism. If there is nothing left for us, if you say we are determined to die, then we will go down fighting." He smirked. "But that isn't what you promised, so long ago, no? I'm stuck here while everyone else dies. But if you want to rescind that, fine by us."

He made a motion to come forward. "I've been cooped up for a couple millennia. Let's go. We will rip you in half." The psychotic smirk returned to his face. "Debilitating staff!" A long golden stick formed in his hand. "Just wait until you see our Corrosion Sands!"

He bent forward to gloat some more. "Oh, and when we beat you, remember that it was Lord Eno-" His voice broke off. "*cough* Enerjak." The echidna paused, with a confused look. "Our name is Enos-Jakosha..." "Too long. Not cool at all. I'm going with Enerjak. It's easier to say." "...But that is our name." "Not. Anymore."

The newly dubbed 'Enerjak' turned back to the masked newcomer. "Shall we fight already? I bore easily."

Dark god did not surprisingly even move when Enerjak kept his grip on echidna's mask, and after moment of silence, just laughed once again, after god of desturciont summoned his weapon.

"You still don't understand? I am not him! I am not that weak god, who could not even cope with his duties! I decided he was little too weak, and took his place."

Masked god suddenly stopped, when Solari's blade came out of his chest. Cloaked echidna actually gave some response this time, but then his head turned right around to stare at Solaris without rest of his body moving, and mask's mouth opened. Something alike black smoke came from it, and then covered sun god, and started to eat away his light. Smoke engulfed Solaris, and started almost like sucking energy from him. Mask turned again to look at Enerjak, and then dark god said, after taking one step forward to sun god's blade was no longer inside him.

"I would gladly fight you, but this place is not right place, nor right time. Blood and misery have not arrived in the world. There is not enough despair yet. You say you have nothing left? Liar! Your first love is still in this world! I admit I came here to meet you. and even intend to try kill you, since prophecy was not entirely clear, would you be needed for time of blood and misery to come. But first, I must tell you my prophecy. Ista told his, and I must give mine, because balance must be upholded."
