We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. The Knicks are expected to send Danilo Gallinari(notes), Raymond Felton(notes), Wilson Chandler(notes), the Knicks’ 2014 first-round pick, two second-round picks and $3 million. The Knicks will also trade Anthony Randolph(notes) and Eddy Curry’s(notes) expiring contract to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who would send Corey Brewer(notes) to the Nuggets. The Knicks would receive Anthony, Chauncey Billups(notes), Shelden Williams(notes) and Renaldo Balkman(notes).

The Nuggets requested on Saturday that the Knicks also include center Timofey Mozgov(notes) in their trade package and New York complied.

If they end up getting Paul just propel them to the top of the East, and that's the rumor. Right now I think they are still behind Boston, Miami, Chicago and maybe even us, but once they get Paul, they are at the top with the big boys. It sucks watching all these teams pass us by, it's a shame we couldn't pair Dwight up with one of these superstars. Our championship window may indeed be shut.

Great trade for the Knicks I must say. Any time you can get a superstar whos probably the best pure scorer in the game, you do it. Plus other stars will want to follow to NY in years to come. Seems like the stars are moving to the east now... some say Paul the next one in 2012 to NY.
