The Philadelphia 76ers traded Dalembert to the Sacramento Kings on Thursday for Andres Nocioni(notes)  and Spencer Hawes(notes).

Dalembert asked for a trade last year because he was unhappy with his role. Now, he got it.

“We are excited to add two players in Spencer Hawes and Andres Nocioni who will help us immediately and provide us with additional frontcourt depth,” Sixers general manager Ed Stefanski said in a statement. “Spencer is a young seven-footer who will provide us with versatility at the center position, while Andres will provide us with a tough veteran presence.”

Dalembert was Philadelphia’s longest-tenured player, but he played for seven different coaches and never developed into a dominant force after being drafted in the first round in 2001. The 6-foot-11 center averaged 8.1 points and 8.3 rebounds over eight seasons, and often was mentioned in trade rumors.

He joins a team that was 25-57 and had the second-worst record in the Western Conference.

First trade of the offseason!

The 76ers definitely won this one. Got a good shooter and gritty defender (both which we could use off the bench), and a very good young center in Hawes. Good trade.

Amar'e Stoudemire isn't going to return to the Suns as he has received a better offer than anything he expects from Phoenix.

A source told FOX Sports that Stoudemire is so impressed with the deal that he could agree to it as soon as Friday, making him the first major free agent to come off the market.

Stoudemire met with the Heat on Thursday, but it isn't clear whether Miami is the team that made the offer.

He planned to visit with the Knicks on Monday and also has a meeting in the works with the Bulls.

Ray Allen(notes)  has reached agreement on a two-year, $20 million contract with the Boston Celtics, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Allen is scheduled to make $10 million in each season of the deal. The second year is at his option.

Allen’s agreement comes five days after the Celtics agreed to give Paul Pierce(notes) a four-year, $61 million extension.

“I’m excited to be returning as a Celtic,” Allen said. “There’s nowhere else I would rather be.

Some rumors have Lebron leaning towards the Heat as well. I hope those rumors aren't true.

Yeah we'll find out tomorrow. Anywhere except Miami and Chicago and we're fine. It seems like Chicago is way down on the list, but I really have no idea where he's going to go. If he does say Miami though, we're done.

Derek Fisher has a meeting scheduled with Miami Heat president Pat Riley on Saturday, according to a source close to the situation.

According to a source, negotiations between Fisher and the Lakers have remained positive and the team has put an offer on the table that was stronger than what's been previously reported (one year, $2.5 million).

"We need to have him back, it's as simple as that," Bryant told ESPNLosAngeles.com's Dave McMenamin at his Kobe Bryant Skills Academy on the UC Santa Barbara campus. "It's not a question of if he will be back; it's a matter of when.
