We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. i agree. paul pierce has done it for his whole career. no flash to his game, but a true leader of the team that always come through in clutch situations. take a look at atlanta - because of their hot start and mediocre play since; people are saying they aren't as good. they have all the pieces to being an excellent team. we're going through a similar phase. |

Rocks blocking shots on guys with dreadlocks

im not sold on the hawks either. pierce is just smarter he knows when to drive to the whole and he is way more fundamentally sound that vince and his off balance jumpers. did i mention he competes on defense? |

ya..even though they have the "hands down" 6th man of the year in crawford, they are still lacking depth. i just moved down here last april from connecticut so I watched a heck of a lot of celtics games in my time. i am the farthest thing from a celtics fan, but have always respected pierces game. sometimes he just seems like he is smarter than everyone else on the floor. not wowing people with a windmill dunk, but wowing people with the "damn, he did it again" play. i know they are cousins, but vince has always been very t-macish to me. which was the only thing i feared when we got him. by the way - nice game out of c-lee tonight. |

Wow, this team just seems to be folding lately. This game was completely in hand, and this Arenas-less team might be the worst in the league right now. Time to make some statements, Magic management. |

Probably addition by subtraction. They still start 2 guys that could be in the All Star Game every year. Are they a playoff type team? No, but they aren't much different than the Nuggets w/o Carmelo and that team beat Cleveland last night. |
