NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. I never would've considered Carter the de facto leader.

I assumed it would be Nelson and Howard, followed by a vocal role from Carter.

The team is in disarray right now, but as some of us have been saying the past few days, J.J. Redick may emerge as a leader for this team.

A leader....but not THE leader. It really should be Nelson and Howard at the top, but because of Redick's college past, coupled with the fact that he's getting up there in Magic tenure and his confidence has been hitting it's stride, it seems like he's starting to take on more of a leadership role as of late.
