NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:
We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.
Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan!

Orange County is on the cusp of securing one of the National Basketball League’s prominent events — the NBA All-Star Game — which translates into a slam-dunk opportunity for local businesses.
“We’re still in the bidding process,” said Orlando Magic Chief Operating Officer Alex Martins. “We hope to have everything finalized before the end of the year.”
Officials from the NBA said an official announcement of the game’s location won’t be made until 12-18 months before the game, but county documents show the event will take place Feb. 15-29, 2012, at the new Amway Center in downtown Orlando.
Man if this happens, I'm totally making sure I get tickets to at least one of the nights. I always enjoy All-Star weekend, and getting to go see it live in our own arena would be pretty freaking sweet.
