I am all up for trading him - I just don't know what we need right now. We've got too many players to play..

I honestly think that was the whole point in resigning him. This team knew they had Bass and Anderson. I think the main reason to bring back Gortat was to use him for a midseason trade. I loved Gortat last year, but with Bass and Anderson playing the way they are, there really isnt much of a place for him and I wouldnt mind losing him now.

Hes a good backup but honestly I thought he would be traded at some point in the season anyways.

Yeah, when we re-signed him I was thinking that it was so we would have his services for now, and then use him as a valuable trading piece in the future.

He has been playing very bad this season. He will must likely be trade at the trading deadline. I rather have Bass backup Dwight than Gortat.

I feel the same way. He's not the same player he was last year.
