We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. Asked if he believes the Magic are better than the Celtics, Perkins replied, “I think so. They’ve got more experience. I think we’ll see late into the season how teams are playing. It’s early right now. A lot of teams are playing well - Atlanta, Milwaukee, Chicago, Miami. So it’s hard to say right now, so you just never know.’’

That's Rivers talking. He likes to play mild, almost unoticeable head games.

Yeah I don't get that. Last year we supposedly had "no experience".

Plus, the Celtics have won a title, and are a more vet heavy team.

Other than that, I'm shocked that someone like Perkins (let alone any Celtic) would actually say that about us.

Perkins says that because our team left the playoffs with a Finals experience. If we were to fail in the playoffs, we would have no experience. This team knows it's the experience factor that happens when they're closely at the end almost winning a championship.
