We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank all Orlando Magic fans who contributed to our little community on the web over the years. This message board started out as a college project back in 2004, and back then I never could have imagined that it would last as long as it did.

However, all good things come to an end. I have moved on to other projects in life, and most of our members here have followed suit. I will leave this message board online as a visual archive into the thoughts and ideas of a group of Magic fanatics that lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance.

Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP)—A fight over the shoes Michael Jordan’s son will wear at the University of Central Florida could cost the school as much as $3 million.

Freshman guard Marcus Jordan is refusing to wear shoes made by adidas, the brand the university has a contract with for all its sports. He says he will only wear his father’s Nike Air Jordan shoes because it holds special meaning to his family.

The problem is UCF has a $3 million, six-year contract with adidas that requires coaches and athletes to use the company’s apparel and equipment.

UCF said in a statement Thursday that adidas was aware of the situation during contract renewal discussions. The university says it is working with adidas “in determining how this unique set of circumstances will work for both parties.”

I think he should just wear the Adidas shoes while playing B-ball at UCF... other then that, he can wear his precious Nike Air Jordan's...

There is NO reason for him to make a big deal over something like this...
