NOTE FROM THE FORUM OWNER:

We had a long, enjoyable run, and I would like to thank every Orlando Magic fan who contributed to our small community on the web. This message board will be left online as an archive into the thoughts and minds of a group of Magic fanatics who lived through a 21-win season, the drafting of Dwight Howard, and an eventual NBA Finals appearance. You can also visit the original MagicMadness Forum at http://orlandomagic.proboards.com.

Special thanks to our Staff Members: Black and Blue, MAGICMANEVAN, and NYCMagicFan!

Not to be a downer, but the Miami Heat team in 06 wasn't that great. They weren't the better team in the Finals. The Mavs got screwed and Wade got every call that series.

• "Getting Vince Carter and Ryan Anderson was a steal," Josh Smith said. "They have a good case of making a run at the title."

• Atlanta C Al Horford also praised the Magic. "I think they are the best team in the East right now by far," Horford said.

Talking about being the best in the East...did anybody else notice that the Cavs with Mr. Slow-mo Shaq looked old against an old Celtics team? Boston looked like the young running team in that game!
